Do Me A Favour

"Can you really walk?" Mr Joon asked worriedly. Rayan kept saying that he can walk by himself.

Rayan stood up from the hospital bed and looked at Mr Joon. "My stomach hurts a little, not my legs. Don't worry. My legs are fine. I can walk." He assured.

Mr Joon let out a soft sigh and followed him to the elevator.

In the elevator, Rayan was supposed to press on the first-floor button. But something crossed his mind and, he pressed on the third floor.

Mr Joon clenched his jaw. "Why? Why are we going up instead of going down?"

Rayan exhaled a sharp breath as the bruised in his heart ached hundreds of times worse than before. "I want you to see someone."

Mr Joon raised his brows and gazed at Rayan. He wasn't sure if he was in pain or not. But he was sure he was going to surprise him.

When the elevator's door swung open, Mr Joon looked around. It's the office floor of doctors. Rayan slowly started walking, checking every single office, reading the nameplate which was hanging on the doors.

Mr Joon didn't say anything. He just followed Rayan who wasn't bothering his presence. He is just like a kid until now. How is he going to handle the whole empire group? A soft sigh escaped his lips.

Rayan was still searching for a room. He stopped and his heartbeat raced immediately when he saw a person coming to them. The one whom he was searching for. Taking a deep breath, he moved his gaze at the other person besides her. Why does it hurt inside my heart when I see them together?

Mr Joon's eyes got widened when he saw the person Rayan was staring at! "That girl..?" He turned his head to Rayan with a shocked expression written on his face. "Crystal! Isn't that her? And the other one. Alex!"

Crystal smiled when they got close to each other. "Hi, Mr Joon. How are you?" She bowed.

Mr Joon was still in shock but he tried to talk. "You're a doctor?" He asked without replying to her.

Crystal smiled again and nodded. "Yes. A surgeon." Then she glanced at Rayan. She knew it still hurt in his stomach. Then why was he walking? "Why are you walking?"

Rayan titled his head and raised his brows. "Dr George said I'm allowed to walk."

"Yes.. but..." Crystal stopped when she didn't find the right word to say.

"Isn't it your workplace? Why are you two always together?" Rayan narrowed his gaze, annoyed by Alex's presence.

Crystal's forehead creased a little, knowing he was talking about Alex. "Why are you here? Don't tell me, your family owns this whole hospital."

Rayan smirked. "Let me remind you I can be anywhere I want. And here. My mother is the CEO of this hospital." He regretted saying that. He was here to talk with her!

Alex heaved a deep sigh before looking at Rayan. Crystal was about to reply to Rayan but stopped when Alex spoke. "We have something important to talk about. Can you please not waste our time?" He didn't wait for Rayan's reply, he held Crystal's hand and walked to her office.

"Damn it." Rayan cursed and ran his hand through his hair before he looked at Mr Joon. "I didn't know you can lie too." He sneered. "Maybe if you haven't lie to me. My life was quite better now."

"Rayan, I am sorry. It's Somin who wanted me..."

"I know." Rayan cut Mr Joon's words. He knew very well that Somin was the one who forced him to lie. "Instead of apologising. Help me." He paused and inhaled deeply. "I promise. I'll not make any trouble. Just do me a favour."

A red fancy car drove in the Park Mansion early in the morning. The maids quickly ran to the driver seat's door and opened the door. After the door was opened Somin stepped out of the car. She took her sunglasses off and put it in her handbag as she walked into the house.

"Good morning, Ms Brown." The housekeeper greeted Somin with a bow.

Somin nodded as she walked straight to the living room. Her lips curved up with a smile when she saw the person she wanted to see most. Before going to him, she stopped to bow at Richard parker and then his wife Yolly Parker. "Good morning, Dad. Mom." She greeted with a smile.

"Good morning, Somin. You are so early than I expected. Have you taken your breakfast yet? Sit down and have some with us." Said, Richard.

Yolly quickly ordered the maid to prepare another set of breakfast for her. "Somin, Take a seat beside Rayan."

As Somin sat beside Rayan, he stopped eating and put his knife and forks down. He took an empty glass in front of him and poured the Orange juice in it. He placed it in front of Somin as he looked at her with shivering coldness in his eyes. "Are you going somewhere from here?"

Somin took a sip from orange juice. "Hospital. For a regular check-up." Actually not check-up, she will go to warn Crystal.

Rayan let out a sarcastic smile. "You are really smart, Somin. The more I see you, the more you amaze me." With that, he leaned closer to her to whisper in her ear with a smile. "You better stay away from her because even I am not daring to go near to her." He warned.

Somin quickly averted her gaze from him as she understood what he meant.

Though no one except them understood what's going on, Richard felt the awkwardness, so he broke it. "Look at them. They look so good together." He laughed as he said it to his wife. "Wait a little bit, you guys don't need to play the whispering game when she will be Mrs Parker."

Rayan sighed silently. Mrs Parker, my foot. "Can we not rush things? I need some time. I think she needs too. We all know sooner or later she will become Mrs Parker." Rayan said calmly.

"Who is becoming Mrs Parker?"

Everyone turned to the sound at the staircase. Rayan smiled and felt relieved. At least someone will be on his side now. "John." With that, Rayan stood up, leaving his breakfast unfinished there. He has lost his appetite already.

"Good Morning everyone." John greeted. He raised his brows when he saw Somin. "Hey, Somin. As pretty as ever."

Somin narrowed her gaze. "Save your flirting habit for a Labor. It will not work on me."

John sneered and turned to Rayan. "Why did you call me early in the morning? You ruined my beauty sleep."

Rayan pressed his lips together as he shoved his hands inside his pockets. " Let's hang out today."

John tilted his head. "How is your health?" He asked.

Rayan let out an exaggerated sigh. "Please don't ask. I am tired of answering this question. Just let's go." He grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the house with him.

When they came in front of John's car, he looked at Rayan who looks much better. "Just say you wanted to get rid of that house."

Rayan laughed. "You got me. You saw the scene. Dad called her in the morning. And just after that, I called you."

John nodded his head. "Got it. By the way, she is back too. What about Daniel?" Rayan didn't reply. As John noticed Rayan's face started darkening, he widened his eyes. "Dude, come on. You don't hate him. You guys stayed together."

Rayan glared at his friend. "You sounded like I am gay."

John smirked. "I thought you are." He paused and his voice turned serious again. "But really. Everything was over, you don't hate him now. So why must he suffered there?"

Rayan inhaled a deep breath as he opened the door of the car. "I don't hate him. But I will never forgive him. So... Don't talk about that jerk. Or I will kill you." He said before got in and closed the door of the car.
