Chapter 5
Author: ForevergoldieeDevin
I never imagined the night would end like this, with not just any girl, but the girl. It was just a casual hi I had said the other day because Steve had dared me to. They wanted to know just who she was as the blonde roamed around the campus like her life had ended. And she did look like a freshman; No one ever took that route she was going because it led nowhere.
But not like we wanted anything to do with her, it was only to get to know her and maybe become friends. And when I spoke to her, she seemed too uptight—typical eleventh grader that thought boys only wanted to get into her panties—so I backed off.
Even though she looked like my fantasy— tall, blonde, busty, I liked girls that knew what they were doing not the clingy, naive ones.
Emerald knew what she was doing, kissing my neck as I unlocked the door to my apartment that was the backyard of the club. I didn't even know how I'd managed with her hands all over me. I was all over her to—grabbing, touching, feeling, kissing.
Her body didn't leave mine as we kissed. I put on the light to my apartment and guided her to the long couch. I was surprised when she plunged me to it, then climbed all over me, unbuckling my belt.
She might have looked innocent; but looks did deceive.
Her lips moved to my neck biting and kissing me on there. My hands couldn't stay idle; I took off her leather jacket and groped her boobs, causing a moan. Immediately she stopped to face me, green eyes digging through mine. Then she wore a dirty smile and moved down to my crotch, an attempt to finish what she had started.
She undid my zip and I was almost moaning when she touched me. With her cold hand doing magic, I couldn't help but groan. Lifting my head to see her face, the lamp at the side of the chair fell to the ground.
She looked up at me, laughing. Her innocent face was enough for me to stop. I was enjoying myself, but she still looked like someone who could wake up the next morning with the 'You used me card' and then, the 'I was a virgin, you perv!'. You never know what could be up their sleeves sometimes.
"I think we should call it a night.” The words abruptly came out.
She gave a sarcastic laugh. "Are you joking?"
I shot her one of my serious looks and she got down from me. She scoffed. "You're serious."
"You're not in the right state of mind."
"If I wasn't in the right state of mind, I wouldn't have asked you to kiss me or agreed to leave with you."
I lifted myself up, doing my jean’s zip. "Tomorrow, you're going to wake up and then, hate me. I can't have that."
She scoffed, shaking her head. "You don't know me."
"Maybe. But I know I like you. Enough not to blow it up." I confessed. Because that was the truth. If she had just been any girl, I wouldn't have minded. Even with whatever card they brought the next morning, but somehow I felt some kind of way about Emerald. She was breathtaking hot and with a great body that I'd have loved to explore any day, but it felt more than just having sex with her.
She gave this aura of a homely, warm person that reminded me so much of my mother. Her smile was beautiful and almost perfect if not that he showed she had a lot going on with her, and I wanted to know those things. I really wanted to know her.
The boys were probably going to laugh at me if I told them about me wanting to know someone. The last time I had had a girlfriend was a year ago and sex had been the love language. Which wasn't what I was looking for, so I ended things with her.
Emerald picked up her jacket I had thrown to the floor and pulled it back on. "Get me outta here." She stomped out of my apartment, annoyed.
I did as I was told. We went back into the club looking for Steve and her best friend. They were still in the same position they were hours ago.
Steve shot me one of those 'get-me-outta-here' look and I subdued a laugh, walking toward them to save him. I felt sad for the girl. She was pretty with long hair, a gorgeous, thick body that gained any boy's attention, but everyone knew Steve had a girlfriend he had been dating for years that he was loyal to and would accept him every time and anytime he messes around. According to him, he loved his girlfriend, but it surprised me how someone can live with such toxicity with peace. I admired Amanda.
"You two good?" Steve asked.
"Yeah. Emerald here, wants to get home ASAP." I glanced at her, but she looked away, avoiding me.
Maybe she'd understand tomorrow.
Her best friend looked over at her friend and got up from her seat, starting toward her. "Are you okay?" She asked observing her face with her hands on her jaw.
Was she Mother Confessor?
"Yeah," She said. "Just have this headache." She looked over at me.
I turned to Steve and he winked at me as if guessing what was up. I almost laughed, rubbing my face with my hand before replying him with a head shake.
"Okay, we're gonna go." She went toward her seat to grab her purse, pecked Steve almost on the mouth (I had a feeling she was confused, not knowing where to kiss him after hours and hours of him wasting her time or maybe the other way around like Steve implied.)
They were walking out on us when I offered something.
"How about we drive you home?"
Emerald's best friend turned back. "We'll manage."
"You guys are drunk. Let Steve give you a ride. He doesn't drink."
I saw a smile tug at her lips at the mention of Steve's name.
"Fine," She said.
