"Have you heard back from Ishaan?" Swati asked as I took a sip of apple juice.
It had been a month since he had left for Mumbai. His father was critical but now he was better and recuperating.
Ishaan's calls had reduced and he used to be curt whenever we spoke or chatted. I assumed it was due to work pressure.
"He called me 3 days back. He is under a lot of pressure. His dad is unable to work and Ishaan has to manage everything on his own. This juice tastes disgusting! "
