am2_3 Chapter 8 What Else Are You Going To Do?

When they arrived at their destination, Yvonne changed her facial expression and walked onto the stage with a smile. She was met with endless applause and exclamations.

Suzy stood at the entrance of the backstage area, watching Yvonne who seemed to have completely transformed into a different person.

Suddenly, a loud voice rang out, frightening her, “Suzy!”

She turned around at the sound of her name, and saw Lawrence walking towards her. He looked surprised. Frowning slightly, she turned and retreated. Yvonne was watching them from the stage. Suzy did not want to appear too close to Lawrence, fearing that Yvonne would do something else to her…

“If I’m not mistaken, you’re called Suzy!”

A smirking Lawrence approached her slowly. Soon, a playful smile crept onto his handsome face.

Suzy’s heart tightened. ‘Yes, I’m Suzy! You took my virginity. How could you forget my name?’ she yelled in her mind. Her heart was soon filled with a sense of coldness and fury.

“What do you want now?” she asked.

Suzy held up her small, beautiful face and stared at him. Looking at the tall but playful man, she felt a pang in her heart. How could Ronald have such a father?

“Oh, are you getting impatient?” replied Lawrence, continuing to approach her slowly.

He soon had her cornered. Then, he placed his strong arms on either side of her, tightly locking her in his arms.

“A million dollars. Be with me. How about that?”

Lawrence looked at the attractive girl in his arms wickedly. His body started to heat up and his breathing became quicker.

Suzy narrowed her eyes. A million dollars yet again!

Before she could respond, a warm kiss took her by surprise. She could not even dodge it.

That scene did not escape Fletcher’s eyes. In fact, the function they were at was being carried out by his company. He had been surprised to see Suzy there, but his shock turned to fury when he saw her with Lawrence. His expression turned cold and dark.

“Suzy!”

A piercing, female voice was heard. It almost numbed her sense of hearing.

A cold shiver ran down Suzy’s spine. She tried her best to shove Lawrence away and rubbed her lips. Having finished her part of the function, Yvonne rushed towards them and sternly glared at Suzy.

Lawrence frowned unhappily, giving Yvonne a cold look. “Yvonne, you just had to appear right now.”

“Law...Lawrence, you, she…” blabbered Yvonne. It seemed like she was tongue-tied and could not bring herself to speak properly.

At that moment, Suzy seized her chance and escaped from Lawrence’s arms. She grabbed a bunch of expensive dresses and left the backstage area.

The minute she walked out, she was harshly dragged into a room. She was still awkwardly holding the clothes in her hands. Did someone want to steal the clothes from her?

Boom!

The door was closed heavily behind her. Suzy turned around immediately.

Fletcher’s perfect, handsome face soon appeared in front of her. His cold eyes were filled with a piercing cruelty. His sharp chin, pointed nose, and thin lips entered her sight. He was looking at her condescendingly.

“What else are you going to do now?”

Fear filled Suzy’s heart as she remembered the scene that had taken place in his car just the night before. Why did she have to bump into this pervert here?

“Why ask? The usual, of course!” said Fletcher, looking at her captivating face playfully.

Five years had passed. Suzy’s innocent and young face had become much more mature now. It was rather attractive. Fletcher could not help but feel a sense of adoration for her.

“Lawrence is still out there,” said Suzy carelessly.

She just wanted to remind him that there was someone else out there. Then surely, Fletcher would not dare to be so reckless.

Lawrence?

All of Fletcher’s adoration for her disappeared in the blink of an eye. What a shameful woman she was! He had not forgotten what she did with Lawrence backstage. The mere thought of it hardened his heart.

Fletcher pushed Suzy down onto the sofa harshly. She struggled to free herself, but that only angered him more, and he became more reckless than ever. She was too weak. There was no way she would be able to get out from under him.

He looked down at her coldly. Her palm-sized face was exquisite and her skin was fair. She was just as captivating as she was before.
