I should feel relieved as Aaron was so nice about the whole thing but I still felt an ache in my heart. Something just felt wrong. Why couldn't I get Jake out of my mind? It was just one stupid kiss and it didn't even mean anything to him.My phone buzzed all of a sudden so I checked my text messages.

Jake teased me relentlessly for the next couple of days at school. Everywhere I went, he was there, flashing me his stupid boyish grin. He knocked the books out of my hands and kept walking one time.
