(Not edited)  Everything seemed as crazy as ever. Why in the world would Jace kiss me? Was he mad? I could tell he was drunk but there was no way he couldn't be totally unaware of what he was doing. 

I shoved my hands into my jacket pocket for warmth. The night was cold and relaxing.  Jace hadn't come back home yet but I had made sure to pack my bags, ready to leave anytime soon. I hurriedly took the opportunity of using the super-fast wifi connection, searching up for places where a new maid is required. 

Jace I couldn't stop laughing anytime I remembered last night's incident. This maid was so unbelievable. She had literally fired herself.  

"Kylie, what the hell are you doing here?" I winced on getting up, moving my waist left and right to relieve my butt of the pain it was going through. "I should be asking you that, woman." She spat, creating the impression of a long-time hater. 

"Jace, how dare you?" She looked between both of us. "This foolish maid literally told me last night that there's nothing going on between you both but here you are, being all snuggly." She expressed her hurt with furiousness. "It's definitely not what you think." I tried to sound convincing. 

Jace I was so stressed out and I really wanted to get some rest. I had promised myself to get good quality rest after the meeting I was to atrend today. 

I woke up very early this morning, had my bath, got dressed and was ready to leave. I had asked Edward for Gift's home address. Edward gave me the direction to her house as well as the address. I was driving there now, already feeling slightly happy that I was going to see Gift again. I tried to buy a gift for her mother and I was able to do that through the help of Ale

Was I hearing things or what? I was as surprised as hell to hear him say that he wanted only me by his side? Or, was he calling me by his side so he could kill me for almost getting him killed by not being obedient?  Hesitantly, I walked to where he was and quietly sat beside his bed.  

"I can't stay on the bed with you." I folded her arms across my chest and pouted. "What? Why? It's not like I'll do anything with you. I'm just being caring." He frowned. 

I involuntarily shut my eyes. My heart was beating rapidly, crazily. My brain couldn't process anything I could do to escape from him and was automatically prepared for the kiss so I held my breath. I was so nervous but I had to stop to think that it had been a while but he hadn't kissed me yet.
