"Did you tell him yet?" was the first question Landon asked when he got into Ana's apartment the next day. The smile that had been on Ana's face disappeared and she frowned in confusion. "Tell who what?" she asked. 

Jack stared at the woman sitting across from him. Helen Knight. His mother. She didn't know why he had asked her out for dinner.  

"You found this?" Landon asked, as if to be sure.  "Yes," Ana nodded. She rubbed her arms and looked around at her apart

"Is everything okay?" Jack asked when he put his seatbelt on. He and Ana had gotten into his car and she had been unusually quiet. 

Ana woke up with a languorous stretch. After the previous night, she felt deliciously refreshed and active. She knew instinctively that Jack wasn't in bed. And when she looked over to his side, she confirmed it. 

"Mrs Knight is not receiving anyone," the woman said without even looking up at Ana. Ana frowned a little. "Ma'am I haven't e

"What do you mean it's too early to file a missing person report?" Jack asked worriedly. He and Landon were in Ana's apartment. They had still been waiting, both of them worried out if their minds. 

It was morning and Jack was fuming, impatient to go and meet up with his mother. Though he didn't want to accept the fact that she could be behind everything that had happened to Ana, even her disappearance, there was a lot of proof pointing to her. 

Ana stared at Tasha for a while. She was going on and on about utter nonsense that honestly, Ana had no desire to hear.
