Waking up on a hospital bed, Qingxi squinted her eyes to stop her eyesight from becoming hazy again and again. The first thing that she noticed in the room was a soft bunny like child, holding her hand and sleeping in the chair beside her. It was the same kid she had tried to save the previous night. 'The previous night. Uhhh....what the hell happened yesterday.' Qingxi groaned as she felt her head throbbing with pain.The memories from yesterday night came crawling like a wave of tsunami. Feeling her throat tightening, she removed her hand gently from little bunny's grasp and carefully sat.Using her free hand that was not attached to the needle, she picked the glass of water before chugging from it.

After hearing what secretary Han had to say about the matter, Juan could not stay quiet any longer and started worrying for his nephew. "Brother, what do you think this Karma guy wants? Should we increase the security near Lu Jing? Wait....you are not planning to inform mother and father are you?" He looked at his brother worriedly. "There's no need to worry. I don't think this Karma was here because of Lu Jing." In the hospital Juan was getting antsy looking at little master's behaviour. It wasn't like Lu Jing was throwing a tantrum or crying, but was sitting calmly was what bugging him. "Hey! Lu Jing are you feeling okay? I mean you don't need to suppress your emotions if you want to cry or tell or anything." Juan said cautiously. Still not getting any reply from him, he contemplated on whether he should call Lu Jingzhe or not. It's not like Lu Jing always throws a tantrum or cry whenever he wakes up, it was because Qingxi had left without telling him and saying goodbye, he should have reacted otherwise. But seeing his calm demeanor he could only sit on the couch gazing cautiously at his nephew. 

Lu Jing had already heard what Qingxi had to say about the matter and was feeling happy that his pretty aunt would rather reject daddy but not him. Bouncing with each step he motioned his dad to pick him up and sat him.on the chair. Remembering what Qingxi said few minutes back about rejecting him but not Lu Jing, he was still a bit grudging and didn't pick Lu Jing immediately. Much to his dismay, his kid went towards Qingxi doing the same thing. Before Qingxi could say Lu Jing on the seat beside her, Lu Jingzhe immediately stood and sat on that seat. "I like the location of this one. Irritated at the conversation earlier, Lu Jingzhe took out a cigarette from his pocket and lighted it up. Looking at the buzzing city from afar he thought about a girl who he had met 10 years back. She might've been 9-10 years old only at that time. He had went to a village nearby with his grandfather because his grandfather wanted to teach him the miseries and difficulties of real life.And there wouldn't have been a good place then the Ninghai town's village to showcase it. Lu Jingzhe who was always calm and collective agreed with his grandfather's arrangements and had decided to spend a whole month in that town for his sake. He still remember, on a particular day, there was no electricity in the town as always. On the other side of the city, a female actress was sitting with the producer of the new movie in which she had been appointed as the female lead. "This is the cast information, that you had asked for." The director placed the folder on the table indifferently. Picking up the file, she smiled. "Thankyou. I will definitely ask brother Gao and my father to invest more in the movie." Xialing said smiling coldly. Taking the hint from her words, producer stood up bid goodbye before leaving the hotel room. Gazing at the cast names she looked at the names indifferently, before her eyes  settled on one particular name.Second female lead- Xiao Qingxi&

After sending Lu Jingzhe and little bear off, Qingxi dressed in a nice pair of ripped jeans and a tank top paired with wedges. There was even a chain on the side of her jeans dangling freely in a U shape. 'I think this is enough girly. They won't think of me as some innocent vase now right?' She thought in her mind. What she didn't knew that with her attire people might even think she is some unruly girl who works with local gangs. Preparing herself to leave the apartment, she checked her phones for any messages before putting them on 'do not disturb' mode. On the other side Director Gu was going ballistic when he noticed that his favourite stunt double Luo Qingxi wasn't playing any role in the movie. 

After clearing all the misunderstandings Director Gu left the set to arrange for his own movie's promotion. Before going back he had uttered few words to Director Li which no one knew of. The photoshoot of the movie, "The legendary couple" was about to begin in half an hour. Luo Xialing who was the female lead of the movie had the liberty to come and see the setting of the set first, because her make up was done first thing in the make up room. Working in this industry for so long even make up artists knew not to provoke these big shot actresses or they'll be doomed for life. Thus, even when the first photoshoot was of Bai Rouyan who was working as the supporting actress, as a third female lead, make up artists had deliberately ignored her and kissed

On the top floor of Star High Company a man was sitting lazily on the chair beside window looking distant and unapproachable. From the expression on his face, no one could tell what this guy was actually thinking right now.  Apart from looking down occasionally and reading the documents in his hand, he was moving his frosty gaze to and fro between his kid and the window seldomly. "Brother these files contains all the information about the managers we have in our company. They are total of seven that agreed to take a new artist under them." Lu Juan said as he walked carrying the stack of files towards his brother. "Hmm.. Details?" Lu Jingzhe muttered his undivided attention on the stack of folders his brother was holding. "Okay so there is this man named-" Before Lu Juan could even finish his sentence, "Rejected!" his brother said without waiting for the details. 

Getting down from her bike looking like a drenched tigeress, she walked towards the door in large strides. Her eyes held a different kind of blaze that was both dangerous and unapproachable.Sensing her dangerous mood Lu Juan who was earlier full of words was deemed speechless.Qingxi sensed that her emotions were not quite presentable right now thus she lowered her head momentarily, while using her hands to pull back her hairs.It wasn't her fault that her whole ride went in remembrance of her ignorant mother, who didn't even knew whether her child was even alive or not.After pulling all her hairs back, she gazed up with her usual approachable and smiling face.Looking at her smiling face, Lu Juan contemplated if what he saw earlier was even there or not. Thinking that it must be because of her out of place drenched appearance, he must've been seeing things, he dismissed his thoughts.
