“Oh my God, NOOOOO!!!” Hero feels chills run up and down his spine as he rushes up the mansion’s grand marble staircase, all his thoughts focused on his mother’s voice. He knows that with his speed and agility due to his extensive army training, he’ll be in his parents’ room within seconds. Good thing too that his father is also in the bedroom, and Hero is assured that the Major is capable of protecting his wife due to his own military background.  But Dad is getting old. Damn, if anything happens to him or my mother…

I have about five minutes before the police and our bodyguards start searching in this area. I need to do this real fast… The Agpalza residence is located in an opulent subdivision complex with a zip code reserved just for them, and with lot sizes only old money can afford. The house stands halfway up a rolling hillside on two acres of land, it’s walled area smack dab in the middle and taking up half the space of the said property. And with the mansion taking up only 25,000 square feet within the gated area, that meant the grounds have about the same amount of space, the pool complex included. Imagine trying to search all that while in the dark!

His smartphone rings while he was waiting to be prepped for his mini-surgery. He knows his back needs stitches but the cut near his right cheekbone was too deep to just let it heal naturally. Besides, his handsome face is on the line and he considers it a worthy investment, given the industry that he’s working in. He recognizes the name flashing on the screen so he picks up… “You, okay?” the male caller asked.
