ALEX’S POV“F***!” I muttered as I tried to get up. My head throbbed as if someone was hitting my head with thousands of hammers.  I couldn’t recall when I had a headache before this. It was so long ago. From the time I started living in the Golden Land, I never had any physical issues. That is when I remembered that I fainted last night.

ALEX’S POVI whizzed through every house, scrutinized every person I could lay my eyes on, eavesdropped on conversations. I scouted the forests, hills, valleys, markets, colleges, but there was no sign or mention of Eva. I glided to The Amor Lake in the hope of finding her, but she was here either. I felt an intense urge to run over our names engraved on the swing.

ALEX'S POV You are allowed to make mistakes in your life except for the one that destroys your life. The consequences of some mistakes are so grave that even you can’t repent for them even if you keep trying your whole life. So, does that mean we should give up hope and stop trying altogether? No, if we do that, we will be lost in a tunnel of darkness. We should keep trying to rectify the damage as far as possible.

ALEX’S POVEva’s words kept reeling in my mind. She had agreed to give her soul to that B****** because she couldn’t find a way to get the Alexart.If I could get those Alexarts, she might wake up from her trance. I had to find the location of the other two Alexarts. For the next week, I read extensively. I even brought all the books from Eva’s apartment to Dixonville but there was no use.
