EricaThe alarm's chime roused Erica from her fitful sleep. She groggily groped for the phone then snoozed it after finding the gadget. Her muscles felt stiff and her eyes did not want to see the morning light. She sluggishly got out of the bed and padded to the ensuite. She noticed two things, number one, she looked ghastly and number two,for some reason the cuts and scratches she had seen last night had vanished. However, the second thing worried her more.Maybe I was imagining. She tried to reason but she knew very well that it was not so, she was wide awake after being woken up by the nightmare and the scratches were still there.
