I was really feeling awkward as I ran back to my room. When Rehana told me to stay in the room, I believed that the police officer would take some time in making an appearance, so I decided to quickly get my sunglasses from the other room. I had been foolish. Yet, seeing the officer bravely walking around to help me had, somehow, made me feel safe and comforted.I felt a smile appear on my face.

"This way," Rehana finally let go of my hand and began rushing towards a thick canopy of trees. We were in a forest, so there were probably many hiding places. Yet, we could easily become prey to another creature.Rushing behind Rehana, I gulped at the sight of eerie darkness and subtle dampness existing around me; the ground was solid wet and the trees were partially allowing the sunlight to reach the ground below. After an hour of waiting on the trees, I listened hard for the roars of lions or tigers to reach my ears. I wanted to know if there were any wild creatures near, any signs of danger that could harm me. Rehana and I had no weapons. I had no idea how we were going to manage in this forest-all on our own. Trying to distract me from the anxious and the feeling of what could happen, I tried distracting myself by looking at Rehana.

It was late evening. Our stay with these nomadic people had extended mostly because being lost in the forest had been overly exhausting for Rehana and me.Now sitting in one of the small huts, we smiled as two kind ladies who were accompanying us.
