“Paul,” I caught up with him in the parking lot. “Hey,” he smiled a toothed one. To my surprise, he pulled my waist closer to him and kissed me on my head. Is it weird that I was blushing?Observing my face, he said, “You remember our play date, don’t you?”

I was walking to my class with Duke. “I am your best friend, aren’t I?” “Nope” he pooped the ‘p’“Now you are being rude” I stopped him, holding his shoulder.“I am not telling you who she is” he said slowly.

Edward’s POV:I ran upstairs to her bedroom. My heart ached after hearing her trembling terrified voice. Imagine to have one your loved ones call you, in fear, and they barely speak because they are afraid someone’s in their house. I had never heard her so petrified. It was dark, no light was on. As I approached near her room, I heard her scream. “Emily” I called out to let her know I was here. I barged in her room

He kissed me? Why would he do that? If this was one of charms, I have to admit, they worked. I was taken aback for a few seconds before responding to him. My response was for two reasons. First, Ed was there and I had to make him resent Paul. Second, I wanted to kiss Paul back. The kiss was soft on the lips and it was promising. When he pulled back for a brief regretful moment I wanted him back, lips locked with mine but when my eyes met Ed’s dark, fiery ones, I forgot about Paul immediately. Blood made its way to my cheeks and I went hot and red. Now you see the impact he has on me.  

“Hello darling!” she wore a huge smile on her face, which revealed her dimples. Her face was a slim cut with high cheekbones and lined lips, her lashes long and her brows thick. Anna’s POV:I was lying on the bed, arms and legs spread, looking above at the ceiling as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. My mind was racing with thoughts. If the sun was the moon how weird would that be? If you think about it, it wouldn’t have been weird at all because we would have grown used to it and I would be thinking vice versa. How interesting my life would have been if I were a bird; flying all the time to countries and across continents. That would be pretty awesome, that is of course I wasn’t eaten by another animal. Walking to the gym, I couldn’t help but think of our kiss in the hall. I have to admit, Paul is a mind blowing kisser, literally mind blowing. I wonder how it will be when we deepen the kiss. If it ever happens again. I want it to happen. We could make a good couple. For real! I shook my head trying to get rid of these vile thoughts. But fantasizing about an affiliation isn’t vile, is it?Standing at the entrance of the gym, I observed Paul who was dodging Trevor. He did the hesitating dribble and the moment Trevor fell for it Paul aimed the orange ball for the hoop. And it was a two-pointer. H

Getting out of the car, I observed the people around me. I could smell something different in the atmosphere. What was it? There was something off about everybody today. Even my own group was acting peculiar. Holding hands more than usual, locking lips more than usual, getting touchy more than usual! Hugging my books closely against my chest, I walked towards my class, looking here and there. The couples were handing each other wrapped presents and there were cards and stuffed animals and roses and chocolates. What the-?I spotted Ed and a smile

Danny turned around and glowered at Ed for a brief moment, recalling the fists he received on that day. His face lightened and a smile appeared on his smug face. “Old friend! How are you Eddie boy?” “You,” Ed took a fierce step towards him but Sophia grabbed him by his arm. Ed had his eyes sternly fixed on Danny’s. “Oh right, I forgot,” Danny said suddenly and then turned to face me, “Happy Valentines” he winked. I walked close to him, “Get out”

“So, what’s going on lately?” he started.“Mm, nothing interesting, I’m just spending most of my time with Paul now,”He blinked and took a sip of his latte. We were at the café, sitting against the window, talking like the old times. However, there was something unusual in the air between us. The familiarity of knowing a person was missing, it was like he was a stranger who I’ve met and known partially.
