Eira stopped at her apartment before making her way towards the mansion. Most of her stuff was gone but all she really wanted to do was take a quick stroll around the place because she missed it too much. When she was ready to leave, it felt like a goodbye. "Have you lost your mind?" Josh's tone made her wince. With long, heavy strides he crossed the distance between them and stood right in front of her. His eyes looked at her with accusation. "How could you even think of doing this?"Shaking her head, Eira stared at him with a gaping mouth which continued to bleed. "What do you mean?" Eira responded in an grave tone, her face puzzled."Don't act like you don't know. You're a witch! Have you forgotten that?"She shook her head and raising her chin, answered, "No, Josh. I haven't. What does it have to do with me and Nate kissing?"His lips quivered and brows descended, knitting closer. "It has everything to do with it. He's an abomination to nature. You can't be with him."When Eira noticed her eyes welling up with tears, she held her head in her hand. "Are you even listening to what you're saying? He's your friend! How can you say that?"

In front of her was an open field of white daisies. The air was filled with a sickly sweet smell. The field extended for miles at end on either side, as far as Eira could see, and in the centre she saw two youngsters chasing each other.

That night Eira tossed and turned in her bed but she never rested. The full moon looked down upon her from the sky outside through her open window. Its soothing light drove away the darkness from the room but as she regarded the celestial body, she thought of the werewolves. She wondered what they truly looked like in the transformed state. For some reason, she didn't believe the image she dreamed of to be real.  She thought

The pair headed to a boutique located in the heart of the town. Bella was in the mind to travel to Everwinter but after being perstered by Eira, she decided not to.  The first one wasn't good but the lady there claimed that all the good dresses were already sold so they moved further.  

Her voice was only a whisper when she said, "Caleb." 

 “Bella is not really looking for me, is she?” Eira asked as soon as they were far enough from Caleb. Damien shook his head, his eyes looking straight ahead. “No.”
