Alyia's Point of View. "You know you're naturally beautiful even without those stupid things, right?" Flame suddenly said out of nowhere that made me turn my back at him while I am doing my eyeshadow."You know that I'm too old to believe those sugar-coated words of yours, right?" I said and rolled my eyes as I slightly push him that cause him to let out a chuckle. "C'mon! I'm saying the truth here!" He exclaimed at my back that made me roll my eyes. "Yeah, right." I said and continued what I am doing with my face. He kept on mumbling words saying that it's fine even if I don't wear makeup. He kept on repeating his point that is annoying me big time now. Makeup became my undercover. It makes me hide everything that I don't want the world to see. I'm tired but when I put makeup, my eyes won't show that anymore. It will just uncover it. 

Cosmos' Point of View. I watched the girl as she took a distance from me and closed her eyes. "Tell me when it's already done-" I was about to add up onto that sentence of mine but I was stopped when I saw a screen-like thing that made me see Alyia. Alyia with a guy. I saw that she aged. That's given. The ten years was really a long time so I expected this but I didn't expect that I will see her with a guy. A man to be exact. "Are you okay?" The guy asked her with his brows furrowed. "I want chicken wings." She said and smiled. Even if the years passed by, I still know when she's telling the truth or lying. Her eyes say it all. She may look different since the last day I last saw her but she still has those eyes. Those eyes that reflect every word she's afraid to tell everybody. 

Alyia's Point of View. "What do you mean?" I asked him and was expecting for an answer but a man interrupted our conversation. "Sir, here's your bill." The man said and put the receipt on the table. I saw him pay and sign what he's supposed to sign. My gaze stayed at him while he does that. Why does he seem like a little weird today? I didn't get what he meant by those words he said earlier. "Thank you, Sir." The waiter said and walked away from us. I thought it would be the right time to ask him because the guy is away already so I opened my mouth and was about to ask him but then suddenly, my phone rang. "Don't you want to answer that? It might be important." He said as he wipes off bits of sauce on his face."Fine but we'll talk after this." I said and answered my phone. 

Cosmos' Point of View. "I'm leaving."  I said as I put a spoonful inside my mouth. "You're off to where?" Dana asked me and continues to eat her food. "You don't need to know." I said but I was shocked by her response. "I don't need to know but I already know." She said and stopped from whatever she's doing. "Whatever you need, it's in my room. The cabinet next to my bed." She added before standing up and walked away from me. What is she talking about? What happened yesterday made me realize that I can't just sit here and not do anything. I must do a way to find a way to bring me back to Alyia.I don't want to be a coward. I don't want to let this all go. 10 years is enough. No, 10 years is a long time. I should've done a thing to make me be at Alyia's side again but what did I do? 

Alyia's Point of View. "What time is it?" I asked myself as I slowly open my eyes. I woke up because of the sunlight hitting my face. I was about to stand up and brush my teeth but I got dizzy so I decided to stay on my bed. My head has been aching since I woke up and I don't understand why. "Oh right! Last night..." I said to myself as I massage the sides of my head. "Last night?! What happened last night?!" I exclaimed when I recalled everything. Well, not everything but the last thing I knew was I was with Cosmos. I was with him last night. Was I really? "Was I really with him?" Alyia's Point of View. As I look at him, I really can't answer the question if he's the Cosmos that I met 10 years ago or a different person. 10 years is a long period of time. If I can tell that it's him? I already embraced him the moment I saw him but no. My mind is still processing all of these happenings as of now. "Alyia, don't you have something to attend to? You told me while we're in the car that that taping of yours is important, right?" Flame whispered that made me blink after minutes of just staring at the guy that's messing with my mind now. "What did you just say?" I whispered back because I didn't heard what he just said. I was busy keeping my eyes on 'Cosmos'. "I can handle all of these. You can leave now. That taping of yours is important, right?" He whispered as an answer that made my brows furrow. "Taping? Alyia's Point of View. "I'm sorry." The woman said but I was so preoccupied the way she disappeared from my sight. "Alyia?" Flame's voice spoke suddenly that made me go back to my senses. "Oh yeah." I said and tried to find the woman earlier but I can't see her in every corner in this place. "Are you okay?" He asked and I just nodded. "I'll just go to the bathroom." I said and pointed the bathroom that I am supposed to be at now. I didn't wait for any response from Flame. Instead, I walked myself to the bathroom without turning my back. That woman.. she's really mommy. I saw her face. * * * "Are you sure you're okay?" Flame asked as I sip from my juice, staring at the table for no reason. "U-uh me? Yes, I'm fine." I answered and smiled. A forced one. 

Alyia's Point of View. "What?" Flame asked and turned his back at me. "Flame, you just said something that bothered me. What do you mean you were there when my parents died?" I asked and let go all of the things  I have in my hand to focus on what Flame is about to say. "You must misheard, Alyia. I said that you told me that you witnessed how your parents died. Not that I witnessed your parents' death. It was you who witnessed it, right? I think you're just hungry. I'll cook." He said before he disappeared from my sight. I was left here, confused. I don't know what to think but all I know was I heard him say those words. Those exact words. I really hate how life works. You can't replay some things that you want to make sure of. Well, that's life. You don't know what's about to happen before it happens. It just happens.

Alyia's Point of View. It's been two days since I met Cosmos and also two days since I saw mommy. Two days since Flame didn't show up in front of me but still gives me meals that was cooked by him. We haven't seen each other within two days because of his "I'm busy" thingy but in those two days, I didn't felt like he wasn't there for me. Je cooks me meals from breakfast to dinner. Or even on midnight snacks. I missed him. "Ma'am, it's already lunch time. Aren't you going to eat?" Freya asked me while cleaning up my table. I just red and signed so many files and it's time for her to do her part. "I'm sure Flame cooked me for lunch. Don't worry about me. I'm sure it's gonna be here before 12 pm. Just go and take your lunch." I answered her with a smile. "Oh. Okay, Ma'am. I'll get going now." She replied and bowed her head down

Cosmos' Point of View. I saw her again there. The exact same place that I also saw her years ago. She's still that crying girl who needs someone. She hugged me tightly that I responded with a caressing of her back. "Hush now. Everything will be okay. I'm here now. You have someone now. You're not alone." I said, trying to calm her down as I was holding the umbrella to protect us both from the rain that is pouring now. I was in the middle of caressing her back when someone snatched her away like she was just an expensive bag. "Alyia, what happened?" The voice from that annoying guy said. "Flame..." She said and cried again. "I'm sorry I'm late. I'm sorry if I didn't made it in time."
