 (Isabella POV) Shock filled me as he crashed his lips on me. He moved slow and steady and I felt myself responding fast. I groaned as he tugs onto my lips biting it softly. My hands slowly made way around his neck tucking on his back hair as his hold on my waist tighten. The kiss became more passionate and I must be crazy but I actually feel sparks coming from us. (Isabella POV) My eyes roamed through the room nervously as I try my best to avoid Nancy's gaze. She was grinning ever since she caught me kissing Nyx. "So you and Killian" she said as I groaned. "Can we not talk about it?" I said as she rolled her eyes. "Hey! This topic must be discussed. It's your first kiss and that too with an overly handsome guy. I am not going to let this go" she said as I groaned putting hands on my head. My eyes automatically wander to Nyx's bed and I blushed as I caught him staring at me. I hope Zylians don't have a high level of hearing and all. But then again he heard my heart beat fast. "Urgh god this is embarrassing" I said to myself covering my face and groaning. "Fine. I'll ask you later. Time for my duty and time for you to go and sleep" she said as I sighed and nodded.

(Isabelle POV)"We are here" I said as I grinned at him."This is just a wall hanged with plants" he said as I smiled at him.I went and knocked in the wall as he looked at me confused. His white beard has grown longer, and his eyes look tired. He also seems to lose a lot of weight. You don't need to force yourself. But remember one thing- I am your mother. Chapter 17 (Isabella POV) “Here you go” I said as I tied the bandage around the 10-year-old’s hand. “Thank you, Miss” he said as I nod. “If he has pain, just give him this medicine. And take this morning and night for a week.” I said as I handed the mother his prescription. “Bye!” the child said as he walked out the clinic with the mother. I took the cotton and put in the waste and started cleaning the place. I yawned and shook my head, trying to push the sleep away. I hadn’t slept yesterday. I couldn’t. Whenever I close my eyes, my mind is filled with Nyx. I know I won’t rest peacefully until I make sure he is safe. My eyes once again fell on the clock. An hour more and I will be able to meet him. The thought of seeing him made my heart skip a beat. “Do you think she is ok?” A voice came from behind making me roll my eyes. “I am perfectly fine” I said as I looked back at Nancy and Jaylen making them freeze. “It’s ok guys. I am really fine.” I said as they nod.

Chapter 18 (Isabella POV) It has been a week since our first meeting in the cave. Ever since then we meet every day at the same time. We even arranged a meeting in the night on the days I don’t have to shift. Those nights are mostly risky for me since I am sneaking out at the forbidden hour. But I guess it’s worth the risk. I get to meet Nyx and spend time with him without a fear. He on the other hand was even more attached to me. He looked tired, though. His eyes had dark circles which are much more visible because of his pale skin. Most days we meet ends up in him falling asleep on my lap hugging me tight around my waist. I couldn’t help but feel so sad for him. He said he is unable to sleep at nights, and in daytime he has duties and training. The planet is once again peaceful with no sudden attack except for the fights between the soldiers of earth and Zylian. I knew Nyx was the reason for this. He is doing his best to keep calm between his people and mine. I put on my

(Isabella POV) My eyes widen as I looked at the person in front of me. He wore a somewhat similar uniform as Nyx. They seem to share the same pale skin and also the same bright light blue eyes. The only thing different was that instead of whitish silver hair like a shade of very light brown ones. "How could you betray us by been with this human?!" he shouted as he lunged at Nyx. Nyx seemed hesitant but he still took out his weapon and ran forward blocking the other's attack. I watch in horror as the two kept moving in lightning speed making it impossible for me to keep pace. My heart was beating fast as sparks and lights ignited from them. Is this how they fight? I am positive they don't use this power when fighting us. Then I would definitely know some way or other and I'm sure as hell we humans, no matter how advance our weapons are, will not win to that power.
