We waited until Eliphas felt better. It was a scary situation and I couldn’t imagine Kieran’s reaction to see him that way when he found him in the woods. They might not be friends, but Kieran was not evil enough to let him die.“You should probably rest. It’s been two days and you haven’t slept” Kieran said as I was sitting on a camelback sofa by the bed Eliphas was on. “That’s fine. I don’t want to leave him alone. He needs me here” I replied. There was exhaustion and hunger, but I didn’t want to do either until I was sure Eliphas was going to be okay. Kieran left the room and I was afraid I had hurt his feelings.
