"Miss Cameron, your father is not picking up his phone do you have any idea where he might be?" Hell, I said to my self and looked at the nurse who had her phone pressed on her ear. Mrs. Anderson had left because she had a class to attend to I kept trying to talk Maria out of calling my father but she won't hear of it.

"I don't know, he might be busy for all I know"

"Who can I call to come to get you"

"Maria, there is no need for that I am fine as you can see, it was just an asthma attack"

"Just an asthma attack, an asthma attack is a very serious thing young lady give me a number I can call"

"I don't know anybody else's" Xavier just come to pick me up from school, I am busy right now, too busy for me, You could say that Just tell her to try calling your father again Jax would pick it up and come pick you from school okay, Okay this thing about you in my head can really come in handy, yeah yeah she is asking you a question right now. I looked up at Maria and she had her eyebrows up as if she was waiting for something

"Well?"

"Well, what?"

"I asked you a question right now, where were you"

"Oh I was thinking about the reason why I don't have anyone else to call to pick me up from school"

"Which is?"

"My mom died while giving birth to me so I don't really have anybody to take care of me and my father is always so busy trying to make ends meet you know it just gets hard sometimes. I let out a fake sob then looked down. Maria rushed over to me immediately

"You poor thing" she wrapped her hand around me

"Why don't you call my father again, he might have missed his phone ringing probably because he was in the bathroom or something. Maria dialed my father's number again then she started talking

"Ah, Mr. Cameron good afternoon... oh with whom am I speaking with... Oh her cousin, where is her father... oh okay could you tell him to come to pick Winter up she had an asthma attack so she needs to get some rest... yes she is fine now... Okay thank you very much" she cut the call and looked at me "Do you know any Jax Nomed"

"Yes he is my cousin from my mother's side"

"Oh, he will pick you up"

"Your highness," Jax bowed to me as I entered the front seat "it is more advisable for you to take the back seat as I am your driver and not your companion"

"Nonsense" I shut the door and I saw Jax's eyes widened in shock but all the same, he jogged to the other side of the car and got in

"So my cousin huh?" I said immediately he started driving, he didn't look at me but he did not ignore me either as Xavier would probably have done

"I was ordered by my prince to give your teacher a lie"

"Oh, and your real surname is Nomed?"

"No, your highness, I do not have a surname the surname is kept mainly for the royal family, Nomed is demon backward" I was about to burst out laughing but I cleared my throat instead

"Well that is blatantly stupid" he looked like he wanted to laugh as well but he reserved himself. He too obviously went through a fierce breaking in

"May I ask why Xavier did not pick me up today"

"I am in no position to explain the decisions of his grace, I am afraid you would have to ask him yourself, your highness"

"I know calling me your highness is as frustrating to you as it is to me I will prefer you calling me Winter"

"Prince Xavier would have my head on a stake if I dare call your highness by the name"

"It is an order from me, what about your brother Jeremy"

"Jeremy is sure as hell, not my brother!" he yelled which caught me by surprise.

"I am sorry for raising my voice your grace, I am ready for any punishment that accompanies but Jeremy is not my brother we just look similar and he went down to hell with my prince today"

"Oh, for your punishment you would have to call me by my name"

"It seems to me that you want me to be subjected to even deeper punishment prince Xavier will not approve"

"Okay, okay, you owe me for not killing you right now" even though if I fight you, I will be dead before I say 'Jack Robinson ate my shoe'

"Certainly my queen"

"I couldn't kill you even if I want to you are old enough to give birth to me over and over again"

"Not in the human world, to everyone I am twenty- eight"

"And how old is Xavier"

"Prince Xavier would be twenty-five very soon" TWENTY FIVE, that is seven years older than me. Wow I didn't expect him to be that old

The ride was pretty silent unless I spoke up and asked Jax some questions about himself.

"So are you married"

"That is an odd question for you to ask me, my queen, seeing you would be getting married to my prince very soon"

"You are not my type" Jax smiled softly then restored his poker face

"I am not married"

"Why? Is marriage out of reach for the other people, is it out of reach to the public?"

"No, I have not just found any demoness who has tickled my fancy, my queen, do forgive me for boring you with my love life"

"No, no this is getting good, you haven't found anybody who tickles your fancy what is your fancy" for the first time he looked at me and smiled

"I don't know actually but when I meet her I will know"

"Come on, tell me maybe I have some friends who tickle your fancy"

"She should be well reserved but free with herself and around me"

"That's it?"

"Uh"

"You are not comfortable are you?"

"Pardon me, I am not this free around anybody..."

"So you are a loner" I cut him off

"Certainly not, I meant to say I am not free around people in the royal family so..."

"Don't worry about it I am very friendly just be free like your dream girl"

"Dream?" he asked

"Yes the girl of your dreams"

"I don't dream about girls, quite frankly I don't dream because I don't sleep"

"Have you ever tried to sleep"

"No, I don't get tired"
