Zombie iii

The entrance was blocked with a van. Leo laughed and said not everyone turns but because we need to save the world we blocked the entrance so no one could escape.Suddenly Luis turned to Leo.

When he turned his face to Leo there was no trace of tears, not in his eyes or in track marks on his redding face. His eyes were narrowed, rigid, cold, hard at that moment Luis knew he was already far away. Once more Leo was the enemy.

If Luis swings from most loved to most hated, it would be the end of Leo. Luis state had no greyscale, only the polar extremes existed. Luis drew in a deep breath, the burning hard stare would last only as long as it took him to think of the most brutally cutting thing he could tear Leo down with.

"Don't tell me that most of the healthy people here, you let them turn into this?" He said angrily. 

"We had no choice, we can't let them spread it! common man try understand"

Luis used his left hand to punch Leo on his face. Leo's fell down while his head was facing down with blood coming out from his nose speedily. 

Luis kneeled beside him and started punching Leo on his face. Leo started shouting "Stop! lower your voice down because the sound is attracting the zombies around."

All the Zombies started moving closer to the fence because of Leo's nose. Leo kept saying, 

"Stop it, man! those zombies might break the fence."

Luis then knocked him out and tore his clothes, using it to tie his hands and legs and threw him inside the zone, the zombies ate Leo up. Luis was so scared and quickly drove out of the zone...

*Present*

Luis and Gomez went back to that zone. While driving to Tacoma, Luis was telling Gomez that his parents and his children might still be alive because looking at the house from a far distance it was locked and seemed human protected against monsters.

The house seemed calm. The windows were closed and that was a sign, but he didn't know how to get to them.

Fred and Stone's helicopter got to the scene.  Fred brings out his telescope and looks down to check maybe there is any crash around or inside the zone, but he did not see any trace of the crash.

Jane was still standing on the van but at that moment, Jane felt like the world was slowly disappearing in front of her. Or maybe it was just her who was fading away.  Because her empty burning lungs and her heart hitting her chest so hard she thought it could break her ribs and rip apart her skin where the only thing she could think about.

The black hole in her head deep inside her soul slowly swallowing all her hopes and dreams.That was the worst of those moments.Then she heard the sound of a helicopter. She tore her parachute and started waving it up and shouting.

It drew the of the zombies around her and they started rushing towards her, but couldn't climb the van. Stone looked down with the telescope and he saw someone waving at them. He passed the helicopter ladder down, then Jane climbed it.

When she got to the middle of the ladder, Stone realized  that it was Jane. He was so happy when she got into the helicopter and Fred asked; "What happened? Where are Luis and Gomez?"

There was no trace of tears in Jane's face, not in her eyes or in the track mark on her redding face. Her eyes were narrowed, rigid, cold, at that moment Jane knew she was already far away. Once more Luis was the enemy.

She explained what happened when they got to DC. Fred withdraw Jane's blood to test whether she is infected or not. Then Jane asked about Luis. "He's not back yet." Stone's replied 

Jane said, "It seems Luis has visited the Zone before, if not he wouldn't have done what he did to me." Jane sneaked out the syringe in her lab coat pocket and hid it in her bag that was kept on the desk in her office so that nobody would see it then she used the DC shower.

Casandra suggested that Jane's cloth should be disposed off. Jane's result came out after five minutes and the result reads negative.The next day Jane visited Luis's house with two officers. Jane knocks on Luis's door but it was his wife Anabel that opened it

"Where is Luis?" Jane asked,

"He has not returned home since yesterday.

What happened?"

"Your fucking husband tried to get me killed." Jane shouted at Mrs Anabel.

"How dare you come to my house to insult my husband!"

Jane raised her right hand up to slap Mrs. Anabel George's cheek, but one of the officers holds  her hand and stopped her from slapping Mrs. Anabel. Jane left the place angrily. When she gets back to DC, she ordered some of their staff to get prepared that they would be going back to that Zone.

Jane, Stone, Fred, Casandra, and Margret.

All of them get inside the DC van and head back to Tacoma.

Casandra was so shocked when they got to the zone. Her empty burning lungs and her heart hitting her chest so hard rapidly. 

Jane sight Gomez from far inside the Zone he has turned, and she drew in a deep breath. The burning hard stare would last only as long as it took her to think of the most brutally cutting thing she could tear Luis down with. Then Fred couldn't stand how those zombies were growling and he asked them to go back to DC.

Jane ordered them to go ahead that she would catch up with them later. But Fred insists that Jane should follow them. She refused and said "No! please go without me."

Fred and his colleagues goes back to DC.....
