I sat next to Alina in chemistry class. She listened to Mr. Greenwood intently, her stormy eyes twinkling with interest as she held onto every word the man spoke. The man honestly bored me. I took the class expecting to conduct way more experiments than we had the chance too. My stars must have been aligned though because even with the man's constant babbling at the front, I had the opportunity to block him out and stare at the girl beside me.
