Eddy stood by the mirror looking at his reflection, all set for attending the party in a Navy blue tuxedo. He took the comb and brushed his hair backward. He was perplexity if he was actually going to attend the party or not, as he didn’t get any text from Jack after the meeting.

Though Jack had said that he would be arranging everything, Eddy still had not heard any news from him. Eddy retrieved his cell phone and checked if there was any text but to his surprise still there was no text from Jack. He glanced outside the window. It was getting dark.

With every time passing, he started to doubt that he must have been fooled by Jack. Selina was against the deal. So he had a feeling that she might have made Jack change his mind due to which he might not have contacted him. He glanced back at his reflection and felt like he was a fool.

When a different thought was crossing his mind suddenly the doorbell rang. He paced downstairs and opened the door. 

He was surprised to see a man in a black tuxedo standing at the door. He was not able to recognize his new face.

"You must be CEO Eddy?" The man soon after Eddy opened the door.

Eddy nodded, "yeah I am. And you are?"

 “I'm Mark," the man replied instantly.

“And?” Eddy said not getting what Mark was doing at his door.

“And CEO Jack sent me to pick you up,” replied Mark.

“Um… to pick me up?” Eddy was very shocked. He had his own car if he was given the address he would reach on his own.

“Yeah, to pick you up,” Mark said nodding his head.

When Eddy was not getting why Jack sent him a man to pick him up, suddenly his cell phone rang. He glanced at the number and was surprised to see a new number. Hesitantly he pressed the answer button and pressed the phone against his right ear.

"Hello, Eddy speaking."

"Gentleman, my man might have reached you by now. Has he? Jack’s voice came from the other side of the phone.

"Uh! Yes, sir, he has,” replied Eddy looking at Mark and added, “he arrived at my door a while ago, but sir you wouldn't have to send man. If you had sent me the address then I would drive on my own."

Jack laughed and said, "No, no gentleman we are partners now. So as a partner it is my responsibility to take care of you.”

“You really have not bothered to do this, sir,” Eddy said, feeling awkward.

“No, worries gentleman. Anyway, see you soon. Bye." Jack disconnected the call.

As Eddy tucked his phone back into his pocket, Mark who was still at his door suggested, "If you are done we must leave now, sir. We might get late otherwise.”

Eddy nodded and followed him. Mark opened the door for Eddy. Eddy smiled and instructed, "Gentleman, next time don't do this. I can open the door myself."

Mark smiled at him nodding his head. Eddy slipped inside the car. Mark started the car and drove away. When they were halfway Eddy called his sister Eva.

"Hello, sister, are you still not done with your shopping?" he inquired impatiently.

"Yes, my little brother, I'm done. I am returning.”

“Oh! That is great,” said Eddy gasping in relief.

 “Where are you by the way? Did you leave for the party?" questioned Eva.

"Yes, I'm on my way,” replied Eddy.

“OH! Great, enjoy your time, little brother.”

“Okay! as soon as you get home have dinner and rest," Eddy instructed.

"Okay, my little brother, bye" replied Eva.

"Oh! and listen if there is any emergency, just call me I will be right there," Eddy asserted.

Eva laughed out loud and said, "Come on my little brother, I'm your elder sister. Why do you always treat me as I'm younger than you? I will be fine. Go and enjoy it. Bye."

 "Bye!" Eddy tucked back the cell phone in his pocket and checked outside. 

It was totally dark outside due to which he was not able to figure out the way. He had no idea which direction, which road they were heading. All he could figure out was the only figure of the trees.

After driving almost for an hour, Eddy saw light in the distance. He glanced at it carefully and found the source of light was a huge Mansion in the middle of the dark forest. Eddy was amused to see the Mansion. He had no idea that such a Mansion was there.

Reaching the Mansion Mark pulled over and announced, "We are here, sir.”

When Eddy stepped out of the car he was amused seeing a tall Mansion standing ahead of him. It was constructed in the Royal structure and was enormous.

“This way, Sir,” Mark guided Eddy towards the hall where numerous people darted their eyes on Eddy, the most handsome bachelor of the Business Circle. Women around gasped when Eddy flashed his charming smile.

"Sir, please make yourself comfortable. I'll go and inform Sire about your arrival. Till then you can wander around and see the place,” said Mark reaching the center of the hall.

Eddy nodded and Mark hiked upstairs towards Jack’s room. As said by Mark Eddy went around exploring the Mansion. It was even more beautiful inside. While wandering around, he reached a balcony where he saw the breathtaking views of the city.

‘Wow! which place is this? I have never seen anything like this before,’ he thought to himself walking towards the edge of the balcony.

As Eddy was enjoying the breathtaking view, suddenly he felt someone standing behind him. He slowly swiveled his head to check but there was no one. He thought it was just his illusion.

 But when withdrew his gaze back to the city, he noticed a person standing beside him. He flinched and took a step back before he noticed that the person’s face was buried behind the mask.
