A3
Author: Varga Nurlela BlafireAbout an hour or so later, I was standing in front of a man who looked like a thug with a slightly wrinkled face. The man smiled as brightly as the sky of Pangkalpinang after putting my suitcases in the trunk. Some people seemed surprised by us, as if they were watching a scene of a thug yelling at a poor girl.
Ahem, I'm not a poor girl, by the way. Just … forget it.
“Grandpa!” I beckoned to the thug. “Why do you have to wear clothes like this?!”
My grandfather laughed. He guided me to get into the passenger seat, then he himself got into the driver's seat and started the black Toyota Avanza.
“I'm still fifty-one years old, you know,” my grandfather said jokingly. “Still not old!”
I scowled as he started to run his car. “Not old yet … seriously, Grandpa! Already know the age, must understand the situation, please!”
My grandfather pretended to be hurt. “Hey! My face still looks young! See? If you want, I can find you a new grandma. How?”
“GRANDPA!”
Grandpa laughed loudly. “I'm just kidding, Bara!”
Secretly I smiled because he still called me by that name as before.
“Besides, I have a reason.” Grandpa turned the steering wheel as he turned the corner, then briefly winked at me. “There's a D'Masiv concert tonight, and I'm planning to watch it. Do you want to come?”
Tantalizing.
“I am coming along. But, Gran, D'Masiv isn't a rock band or very that fierce,” I said flatly. “What does that have to do with pop music with thug clothes?”
My grandfather laughed again. “There is no. I just want to. Ha ha.”
I just rolled my eyes in disbelief. I yawned, and decided to just sleep. Grandpa said, the trip from Pangkalpinang to Koba city took quite a long time. About an hour or so … or less … I don't know, again I don't really remember. The thing is, I am already in sleep.
When I finally woke up with sticky eyelids due to chin, we had arrived in front of a simple, one-story white house. The house has a small yard on each side, with several trees and wild plants that live freely on either side.
“So, welcome!” My grandfather smiled, then got out of the car.
Grandpa dragged my two suitcases into his house and I followed with feeling still sleepy.
The inside of Grandpa's house is just as simple. Consists of one living room, two bedrooms, one family room, and one kitchen. Bright red sofas hurt my eyes as we passed the living room to go to my bedroom.
A few seconds later I just remembered that Grandpa likes red. That is why almost all of the tools and furniture are red. Even the frames that framed my photo as a child were red too!
“Why didn't Grandpa paint the house and the floor in red too?” I grumbled disgustedly to Grandpa's back as he passed the living room.
Grandpa turned around suddenly, startling me. “I still don't have enough free time, but I already bought red paint for the walls. I'm afraid the paint has dried up because it's been ignored for too long. Should I just hire someone? And for the floor … I thought I'd order red tiles too. What do you think?”
I snorted. I shouldn't have said anything about the red.
Grandpa opened a door. “By the way, this is your room.”
I looked doubtfully. Fortunately, the red color doesn't rule my room. Looks like Grandpa knows that I prefer neutral colors like black or white.
“WOI, YADI! KELUER KA!” someone shouted.
Surprised, I turned to Grandpa who looked flat. It sounded that the sound came from the front of the house.
“MEN DAK KELUER, KUDOBRAK RUMAH IKAK!”

Linda and Aryadi stand tense, with no exception with Rokan Allegro and others. Thirteen witches stood stiffly around the open coffin in which Barbara's body lay. However, their lips appear edgy without sounding. The two hands of the witches are interconnected in front, as if standing back and just enjoying the cold of the cave they entered.Linda's getting impatient. Her desire to interrupt was so gr
WOLVIRE B14
They moved Barbara's body from the Healing Room outside of the base. Not far from the base, there is a cave mouth that is not that big. Thirteen witches and several other people involved, including Barbara, entered the cave. The place led to the underground cave. They had to pass sixty-six slippery steps and struggled not to slip over it. The thirteen witches who led the way looked like strange shadows beneath their black batik robes, while the others were wearing only suits and such, although they were both black colored. The two men behind the thirteen witches looked extremely cautious as they descended the stairs with the open coffin slung over their shoulders.Linda took a step behind Rokan Allegro as well as in front of Aryadi, and one or two more people who she believed were Rokan's subordinates. Every now and then her eyes glanced at the open coffin while her hand held the torch like the others. Only the two coffin bearers couldn't carry torches. Inside the coffin lay

“Prepare what needs to be prepared. We need to do a Soul Liberation as soon as possible.”“Yes, sir.”Linda watched the witch walk away and get into the elevator. Jer gaze turned to Rokan Allegro. A sudden thought crossed her mind.“Sir, you said only witches could use Body Transfer,” Linda declared.Rokan Allegro frowned. “And then?”“How could the witch and Barbara get here this fast? If they managed to save Barbara before midnight and got here at five, wouldn't that be the time it took for the witches when they used Body Transfer?”Rokan Allegro took a step forward, stopped at the door of the Healing Room and looked at Barbara, who was lying weakly through the glass. “Barbara is another type of immortal besides the witch who can use Body Transfer.”“How could it be?” this time it was Aryadi who said. “He's just a wolvire, someone who can be sa
WOLVIRE AB1
I don't know how someone can get possessed properly. Or for that matter, fully controlled. It felt terrible when I was told that I was locked up in my own brain. In my own body. I wonder if this is how I would feel if I had multiple personalities. However, this seemed even worse. I can't feel any of the senses that are in my real body anymore. I feel empty. I feel blind. I am like a madman lost in a sphere of darkness beneath a chasm. All I can do, or at least think I do, is just cry.The demon's voice no longer frightened me, but after a moment that felt like a million hours to me, the voice suddenly let out a roar. I winced, but still did nothing but hug my knees somewhere in the breadth of my thoughts. I just looked up when I realized that the roaring never stopped. I don't know exactly which sense of hearing I was feeling, but I had to close my ears tight because the sound was hurting my eardrums. The roar stopped suddenly. I blinked in surprise, wishing tha
WOLVIRE B12
Saga couldn't be more nervous than he felt now. The sound of the birds squeaking above made him look up in alarm, as if they were somehow spies for the wolf-shifters here. He cut open the withered bush, a few dry twigs or branches almost scratched his face. After a while he went through several sections that were more like years to Saga, he paused his steps for a moment. The path outside the forest was nowhere to be seen, though that was probably due to how fertile the tall bushes of this forest were.Tap! Tap, tap, tap! Tap!Saga turned his head suddenly, startled. His legs receded back and accidentally hit the roots of clay, he was knocked down with a quick breath. He quickly stood up, feeling anxious to bury himself in the nearest swamp. His eyes looked nervously at the five men in front of him who were glaring at him.“S-Sorry.” Saga stuttered. “I just want to find Bara.”The five men looked at each other for a split second. On
WOLVIRE B11
For the next days Saga no longer bothered looking for Bara and her family anymore, as his mother had told him. He couldn't help it when his feelings were still worried even though he had tried to think evil for a certain moment in his daydreaming mind. After all, Saga already thinks of Bara as his friend. A person who was rightly worried that one of his friends would disappear, or even worse, was being chased by a hunter worse than a wild wolf. One day, fifteen days after Bara and her family disappeared, he came to the forest. The forest he didn't dare approach before. Saga doesn't know if he has gone mad or about to go mad or the world itself is mad. In fact, he himself wasn't sure who was mad over whom. The point is that Saga can't take it anymore. Stay silent while he knew his friend was in danger, it felt like the wrong thing. Vampires and shapeshifters have never had the compulsion to hate each other like in the movies, but they are more towards keeping their distan

“Dad, are you okay?”Aryadi gasped from his reverie. He turned to look at Linda with a smile on his lips. The man nodded in response to his adopted daughter's question. Linda smiled, releasing herself from Aryadi's embrace. The two of them then turned to the car window beside e
