Prophecy of Lava girl

Wang Ahn reached his duplex apartment near midnight. He was exhausted. He really had tried his working limit but the result was worth it.

He grinned thinking of how he snatched the contract out of his enemy’s hand when the rivals were so sure that they are going to get it. But they should have considered with whom they are dealing with, CEO of Aqua enterprises is not an easy and forgiving enemy.

Wang Ahn never backdown from a fight and never let anyone take any business deal from him. He was one of the most successful businesses men at such a young age. He was ruthless when it comes to his work.

Hence the destructive move he played again Gu Chan. He can bet that Gu Chan has sold his everything on this deal to install instruments to manufacture the product in bulk amount as he was sure that it was ultimate his power move. He gave his everything and even took the risk of hiring and placing a spy in Ahn's office.

Even though Ahn doesn't know who the spy is at the moment he immediately got the whiff of it as soon as Gu Chan even applied for the same contract and to confirm his doubt he even kept his meeting on the same day. He thought he was being smart about it trying to play dirty with Ahn, so Ahn made sure to destroy him for once and all.

He was instantly in better mood as he thought about the face of Gu Chan when he realized that he lost the contract and all of his life savings with it as he has invested his everything on this deal.

He went to bathroom and took a shower. He wrapped a towel around his waist and blow dried his hair. He looked at his handsome self in mirror and thanked for the genes that was passed down to him.

The guy staring back at him in the mirror had handsome face with chiseled jaw line, hazel eyes with blue flecks in it, dark hair which was still slightly wet from the shower he just took. Add an adorable pair of dimples to this look and it was the most handsome face you can imagine. His dimples alone were enough to make any girl crazy for him. Let alone his always charming personality and good use of intelligence and wit.

When he sets his target on someone no matter what, he gets it. Nobody was immune to his charm and ever-present easy going smile. He couldn't help but have the of taste of all the sweets that world has to offer.

But the most important thing in his life was LOOKS. he has to look good and presentable no matter where he is. Ofcourse, being handsome hunk himself, he obviously needs his partner to be as picture perfect as well. Just like the models he is used to dating. Recalling the recent incident with the model reminded of him of the beautiful store girl. Yes, he finally remembered the girl he kissed in the coffeeshop. It was the same girl he saw in the Tessa’s fashion boutique who had a talent for making sales. His smile turned into a full blown grin. He changed into his nightwear and went to have a coffee.

He went to his modern kitchen where he rarely cooks to get a coffee. As he reached the coffee machine he was again reminded of the incident that happened in the coffeeshop a few days ago. He again had the stupid grin on his face as he remembered the expression of the firecracker of a girl when he kissed her.

'And what was she complaining about? She should be thankful that the kiss was so nice' he thought smugly.

It has been 4 days since the coffeeshop incident and he has been in a jolly mood ever since. He was especially smug about his own Oscar worthy acting.

'Oh! Life is so much fun' he thought.

He drank his coffee and went to bad.

Next day when he woke up, he was in quite a good mood. He was having his breakfast made by his personal chef just then the sound of the bell rang out.

The maid opened the door for the guest and the newcomer was none other than mother of Ahn, Mrs. Wang. Ahn immediately stood up and engulfed his mom in a bear hug.

"Mom, What a surprise. Why are you here? Is something wrong?" Ahn asked mischievously.

She smacked the back of Ahn's head and said

"You insolent child, am I only supposed to come to your house when there is something wrong?"

Ahn rubbed the back of his head and said while grinning "Hehe. maybe"

His mother glared at him. Only his mother could struck him or slap however she likes. Nobody else has the guts to do it or maybe nobody has left alive to tell the tale.

"Why do you have dark circles under your eyes? are you not sleeping properly? I told you not to overexert yourself."

He kept on grinning while receiving his mom's caring lecture.

"Dont worry mother. I am very well"

His mother observed him and said "Looking at your grin I can tell that you snatched the contract from Gu Chen"

His grin doubled as he recalled yesterday’s event.

"Without a doubt" He said arrogantly.

His mother sighed and said "Only if you were this serious and successful in your relationships"

His grin was instantly gone.

"I am here to inform you that the change of clan leader will happen in few months. I know you are strong. All the elders and members respect you and even if someone challenges your position nobody have a chance to win against you. You are way too powerful for them."

Wang Ahn was boasted by her mother’s compliments.

"Ofcourse I am strong." He said in obvious tone.

"You have the strength greater than your father and even your forefathers. But with your greatest strength you have great responsibilities."

Apart from the worldly persona of CEO Wang, he also has to play a different role. The role of being a crown prince of Aqua kingdom. Taking the responsibility of a clan leader could be difficult but he was born for it. Being born in to this role his life is intertwined with prophecies.

Wang Ahn remained silent. He knew in which direction the conservation was going.

"You have proven yourself with your success in the business world. You have multiplied the business thrice the original branch and your elemental strength is great beyond any words" His mother said trying to raise his confidence before gibing the final blow.

'Now the beating is about to begin' he thought.

"But you keep on having relationships with all the possible girls all around world. You really need to find the perfect girl for you and settle down before they entrap you in the prophecy crap. Just because it didn't work the first time doesn't mean...."

She knew crossed the line when she saw the dark expression on her son's face.

"You know that you have to take the responsibility and leadership of the clan very soon"

He sighed and said "I know that"

Mrs. Wang looked at her son's solemn expression and said

"You know I am worried about you right? Soon elders will have a meeting for the change of head of the clan. The clan will demand you to settle down and create heir soon after"

Her mother continued with her own speech

"I am not asking you to start a family right away but you have you look for the perfect girl for yourself"

Wang Ahn said a bit irritatedly

"Well the perfect girl dont exist"

Mrs. Wang sighed and asked in a demanding voice

"Do you really wanna marry the prophecy girl?"

"Well I am curious about her" Ahn said just to irritate his mother.

"Well dont be. What good she is? Her mother ran away to marry an unknown human. Now her whereabouts are unknown. Who know how she was brought. You have to look for anbetter option and marry that person so you can avoid the arrange marriage" Mrs Wang said agitatedly

"Mother, dont let father hear your scheming" Ahn said sarcastically

"Well your father is too superstitious and want to follow through all the prophecies blindly" Mrs Wang said irritatingly

Just then her phone rang, she looked at the caller ID and said "I have to go. I am meeting my friends for a spa appointment. Think about what I said. Okay?"

Ahn said with mischievous smile on his face "Yes Ma'am"

He kissed both of her mother’s cheeks as she left the apartment. He went back to breakfast and thought about the conversation he had with his mother.

Alot of people wants to avoid prophecy and arrange marriages. It happens in every few centuries. Hence the mother of the girl ran away to avoid her child to go through the forceful marriage. Although it has been in the news that she had been found few years ago but is refusing to speak about the whereabouts of her child.

'Such a drama.' He thought while rolling his eyes.

He wasn't kidding when he said that he is curious about the so-called lava girl. That is what he calls his prophesy princess. Cause if she is anything like the fire-cracker he met in the coffeeshop, life would be very interesting.

‘Looks like I have to give her a visit soon’ he thought evilly.
