I was up stairs when the bell rang but I knew pearl was in the kitchen and it can't be for me because I haven’t told any one yet that I moved here and I haven't sold my condo also which I knew was wrong but I want to at least wait six months just to see if the marriage will work, but now I was glad I didn’t because I was confused and I didn’t know if I wanted to marry Michael or not
I trust Michael but I still want to see if he has changed and pearl also makes me question things, with that thought I went downstairs because I was nosy to see who was at the door, being cooked up in this house will do that to you, that's when I heard hush hush voices and I smiled finally wanting to see pearl's boyfriend
"How far along are you" I heard pearl voice asking the person
"Three months and I thought I must come here and tell him in person" said woman
what the hell are the talking about?
" So what do you want because I'm sure he told you he has a fiancée before you opened your legs for him?" I heard pearl say and. Shook my head already shaking I already knew what they were talking about my biggest fear

I was starting to understand the conversation and it hurt but i wanted to hear more so I never moved from the hallway near the stairs, but deep down I knew they where talking about Michael who else could it be

"I don't want anything I just wanted to tell Michel I'm expecting his child and if doesn't want to be part of the child life then that's fine but he will have to support this child whether he likes it or not, I wasn't fucking myself he was, now tell him to take responsibility and not hide behind his daughter" she said before I heard footsteps then the banging of the door, bi knew it but hearing her finally saying his name didn’t make it hurt less.
"You can come out now she left" I heard pearl say and I moved from my corner and headed downstairs the was no use of hiding anymore
"How did you know I was listening?" I fought te edge to sniff, I was not going to cry in front of her
"Because she was making noise and it's not rocket science that the first instinct when some makes a noise to see what the commotion is all about so I knew you must have heard her" she rolled her eyes, and I nodded in understanding
" So do you think it's true, do you think Michael impregnated her?" I was looking at the floor and I bit my lip hoping she said no
"I don't know, maybe? you knew you were getting married to a slut, I don't know why you're surprised but don't worry he will take care of it he always does" it was true but I really thought he had changed
"I thought he changed" I whispered
