Episode 97

"HOLD OFF!!..STAND YOUR GROUND!!..".(Xing)

It was a chaotic battle in front of The Eye Of Abyss the Level 6 Dungeon, the Dungeon was found about a few months ago by the Dungeon Explorations Division, according to the record it was the most difficult dungeon from in their list, it's all because of the Eye of The Beholder. 3 days ago the subjugation's of this dungeon were given out by the Black House with a top priorities, among the other dungeons only this one were given special attentions with 50 Special Forces were deployed to it.

2 days ago when Sergeant Xing who leads the Soldier's arrived at the dungeon, noticed that the Dungeons were already at Stage 3, it immediately shocked him and made him called the HQ right away, which then send a few reinforcements, about 100 soldiers and 200 Mercenary and Soldier who's in the nearby dungeons were rerouted to his place instead of going to their targets. Today despite Xing constantly sending teams to clear a few floors in attempts to control the advancement of dungeon break progress, it breaks.

Chaos ensues as the break happens, Xing who's got the total control of His fellow soldier were struggling to contain the area, all because his focus were divided into 2 place, not only he have to handle the various Threat Level 5 Monsters, but also helping the fallen non-soldier that was all over the place, some running away, some shouting for help. Only a small amount of the Mercenary and Adventurer that agreed to follow Aeternum Soldier command.

It's Naturally a hard situations to encounter, when a needless distractions appears on the battlefield where the percentage of winning the enemy were already considerably low. Xing were already on his last straw, he knew considering the situations, he along with his comrade were bound to fall in a matter of few hours and the best that he can do was hold up his positions and kill as many as he can.  Threat Level 5 monster are bound to cause havoc and he knew whether he wants it or not, after this monster done with them, the next place they will go was New City which only 20 kilometer away. As a soldier he can't let that happen after he relay the situations at his end to HQ, The HQ confirm his act and Order him once again to hold the positions as the back up already on the way.

The whole thing caused Aeternum Army in high alert, instead of the Special Force or Normal Soldier unit, The Maidens Unit who the strongest Division in Aeternum were send out in a haste, the reason why, it's because the president were actually already closing in the locations.

".…..Well, ain't this some messed up situations..can't everything just be normal for me once?..<Sigh~>..".

What T.A.S said was definitely true, but I actually come because I wanted to do some dungeon diving and kill some monster. A fact about me, I'm actually really loved the adrenaline of fighting something, It's probably the reasons why I felt alive in this world, but not to mistake, I'm not fond of unnecessary killing and murder, minus the time when I was a hitman, It's a job and my target were all not so good guy, probably there's some, I don't know, to me at that time a job is still a job. Still at the very least I get some warm up before the dungeon dive.

In just a few minute's My helicopter already flying near the vicinity of the Dungeon, I saw the whole battle scene, My Soldier were actually doing a good job of holding off, they positions themselves in about 200 meter from the dungeon entrance and forming half circle positions which broke off into 3 sections, all facing the entrance. They even dug themselves behind a makeshift covers of dead monster bodies and hastily made trench. They also implied a few simple strategy, as the middle sections uses a focus fire tactics that aim a single target to take them down faster, the other 2 trench sections were using the shield bearer adventurer and mercenary to close up the focus area (made a funnel like shape to drive the monsters to the center )and at the same time saving the injured. It makes the monsters only think of moving in one directions as to forward to where the Focus fire zone were. Of course due to the gap of power the shield wall tend to be broken every few seconds and leave a gap, but still the monster have to reroute themselves as when the gap were open, the soldiers from the side trench will  throw a flash grenade on them and focus firing at the gap until the gap were covered up.

Despite the smart improvise tactics, the losing side were of course my soldier. I can see that behind each trenches there's numerous of wounded adventurers and soldiers, the medics were constantly running of here and there, I can also see amidst the advancing monster there's some unfortunate souls were turn into stone statue and some were becoming zombies, there's also some were flailing on the Enormous eye tentacle that constantly waving in the air. Though firearms and flash grenade combinations were effective against the oversized eye, there's also various other monster in the waves. The reason why my men was pushed to this extent were solely because of the monster overwhelming numbers.

"Pilot, Fly over the area where the entrance was…also provide the air support for our men down there…..shush!, I know VP order you to watch over me…so watch..from up here…now get me over there…".

As always, I knew Elijah have everyone that follow me report to her, I don't really felt offended by it because ultimately she just cared about me, it has to be the fact that I'm the President of Her country and her Master. Still despite all of that, ultimately my power still above her so, whether the pilot wants or not he had to follow my order, following what I said he flew the helicopter directly above the area where it's near the dungeon entrance where the monster were the most concentrated.

Just as the helicopter was at where I wanted to, I opened the door and jumped out. If it were some other normal dudes doing the thing that I do currently, jumping out from the height of 10 floor building looks like a suicide, to me I'm actually in control of myself, this range of height don't really dangerous to me in fact even if I land on the ground directly none of my bone will be broken or fractured. Still I'm not actually going to jumped directly to the ground instead I'm going to use one of The Eye of Beholder to soften my landing, by directly stabbing it to death from above.

Without releasing a single aura, I unsheathed the Headhunter from its scabbard. The Eye of Beholder don't realize that it will be death in a matter of a few seconds, just like a strike of lightning the moment I come in contact with it, I plunged my sword on top of it the whole blade sink into it's flesh, instantly with me on top of the poor Eye of the Beholder shot down to the ground, some of the monster beneath it were instantly crushed to paste as soon of I'm on the ground.

"...so that's how a super hero landing feels like….anyway….hehehehe, come at me Beast!!..".
