Episode 66

Operations Death Stroke is a 2 way covert assault, aiming at the Current King of Hallerus and The Principality of Light grip on the Duke Merrica territory. In a span of 2 weeks, my force will assassinate all the nobles that were involved in the Bandit Uprising plans, which 57 families all resides in the northern Hallerus, and at the same time my troops will be entering the Principality of Light and attack it's strategic points like their fort, cathedrals.

The both attack will be pinned on the fabricated coalition of bandits/assassin that wanted a revenge on the their comrade falls after being thrown aside by The Church and the King, it's also will be broadcast in the radios, as to spreading the news. This will make the public questions the Church and The Current King credibility, thus weaken their influences, of course I won't directly frame the king but instead accusing the royal advisor Leonardo Delarno of bewitching the King, and to strengthen the facts, I will use Duchess Marriane testament as prove of example.

I already told the plans (part of it) to the Duke Merrica household, they agreed to it and wishes to be part of it. Today is the end of week one of Operation Death Stroke, and the day which Duchess Marriane will be doing a live broadcast confession about her brainwashed incident. Elijah already send a Helicopter to retrieve Duchess Marriane from Duke's Mansion, and they are on their way here.

"Last night another assault hit another Noble family, the Nelson household of Griphon Village, in Northern Hallerus..making this the 56 nobles family that were involved in the Bandit Uprising scheme, that were suspected devised by the Church of Light Cardinal and Advisor to the King Leonardo Delarno...such a devastating events, according to the villager of Griphon, the Bandit Coalitions left their signature killing by hanging the whole family at the gate of their mansions, and a note written on the wall nest to the gate..saying, I quote 'Revenge is coming..we will burned the zealot of light, who's nothing but a backstabber bastard'..what a vicious remark!…there's yet to be a hard prove that Church of Light involvement nor why the Coalition vicious hostility to the church..but seeing they had no intentions to comes out and says otherwise, made this whole fiasco, seems like the church had some ill relations to the bandits…..so, Church folks, my studio is always open..DJ Skelly are waiting~…let's take a break from with the song from our own star President Mies Sai with his Song 'Love Hurts'…".

Sitting in the war room listening to the radio, I knew by now the public has gone panic, according to T.A.S observations people from all over Hallerus started to spread rumors and avoid the churches, the nobles started to questions King Roberth actions, Alemia, Visma, Battlestar Empire, Dukedom of Angela, Free Nations of World Guilds, Elvenia and The Coalitions of Wizardly and Scholar already slowly distancing themselves from the Churches and launch their own investigations on the churches in their territory.

"Sir..the Last team already touch down at our base…preparing team 57 for the Nobles Assault..Prepare the Assault team for the Fort Rock..all team will be send of in 6 hours….Sir?.. ". (Lieutenant Colonel Bertha)

"Approved..Team 57 will changed objectives, I will be in charged of the team, from now on…no discussion..ordered the team to meet up at my office….".

"But sir…Madam Elijah said….". (Lieutenant Colonel Bertha)

"That will be all Lieutenant Colonel..everyone focus!..I want no mistake understood!!..".

Though Bertha was newly promoted to Lieutenant Colonel as to her excel leadership in the recent assault, she was given the post as the War room head director, she was warned by Elijah not to let Her president goes into the field, but today the man himself decided to do so, she knew even if she insisted on not agreed to him, she can't do nothing if the latter wants to, all she had to do is wait for her lecture from the Madam herself latter, slumps to her seat Bertha rabbit ears falls as she depressed, looking at the man just leave the room, nonchalantly.

"Call team 57 and tell them to head for the Square office now…<Sigh~>..I'm dead~..". (Lieutenant Colonel Bertha)

At 12:25 the helicopter that were responsible of carrying the Duchess and her entourage finally lands in the Aeternum Public Aero strip located at the end of New City Commercial District, Aeternum Public Aero Strip were just a small airport with just 3 immigration's terminal, still it was a foreign yet futuristic looks to the Fantasma inhabitants. Duchess Marriane arrive with her 3 maids and 5 Knights, they were the first outsider to truly set foot inside of Aeternum. All of them can't help but marvel to the beauty, and seemingly otherworldly scenery that unfold before them.

"Madam Duchess, everyone..Welcome to Aeternum capital..The New City….it's been a log time Madam..you're looking very beautiful as always..". (General Mina)

Mina and Andrea was task to escort Duchess Marriane, Mina already have some previous interactions with Duchess and her entourage, Andrea was there just as a form of courtesy as she was a human, certainly it helps them to understood the culture of Aeternum who is multicultural, different from her own territory.

"Madam general..it's been some times, thank you…Hello there, Miss?..". (Duchess Marriane)

"My name is Andrea, Aeternum Resource Department Minister…Nice to meet you Duchess….if you may, please follow me, I will introduce you to the New City..". (Andrea)

Andrea has a special abilities to make people listen to her, although Duchess Marriane was a noble, she can't help but to listen to her every instructions and follow her lead as if Andrea was a higher noble than her (Technically yes, as she was a minister of a nation).

"Before entering Aeternum, everyone had to passed through an immigration's check..no matter what caste,it might sound like a hassle but, this is a mandate passed by his Excellency Mr. President himself..". (Andrea)

Still smiling Andrea explain everything as the Duchess and her entourage was screen through the immigration's process, the Knight were complaining as they had to remove their weapons as they passed through an inspections but, since it was the rule they had to follow.

"Right now we will be heading to your Hotel, in the Government District..right now we are in the Commercial district…as you see we are still under a development process….but all the stores are opened..you might wanted to buys some souvenir, later…we will be riding this…Duchess and one of the maid will be riding this car and the rest will be riding the car behind…Please Duchess..". There's 1 white Limo, 2 SUV and 4 Military Motorbike parked in line in front of the Aero Strip waiting for them,The Duchess and he entourage has seen and rode Duke Merrica black van before, but seeing a new kind of Metal beast, made them thinking just how many kind of this metal beast that Aeternum has. Entering the Limo, Duchess Marriane and her Hand maid were once again shocked, the inside was huge, there's even a long white carpet on the floor that were so soft the whole feet will just sunk in, the seat was made by a white leather of probably a high level beast, there's even a wine bar with plenty of ice, ice was something that can only be procure in the winter, to have so many in the mid fall, it was simply utterly luxurious, Duchess felt like she was a a crown princess of a high royalty, when the Limo moved there's almost no vibrations. Not enough with the car and the treatment they had, the Scenery inside the New City made Duchess Marriane so shocked and awe, high rise building everywhere, Clear glass windows installed as if it was a common thing. The people was multicultural, but they all wearing clean clothes even much more cleaner than her Handmaid, the street was so clean, the atmosphere was breathtaking and she feels like she has entered a whole different world.

"Amazing….it's like a city of Utopia that was describe in the books...such a beautiful views…". (Duchess Marriane)

"it is a utopia…His Excellency made all this possible, he made a sanctuary for all, in here..even woman can rise to power with no prejudice, non-human can walk around with no one hurting them or even condemn them…everything that in this city was made by him…the New city….Look, That is Central Garden, that's were The Presidential Mansion were located..".(Andrea)

Andrea continue to explain and shows everything to the tourist as they passed every single place. Duchess Marriane was very inquisitive about everything in the New City, it piqued her interest so much, that she decided that she's going to stay here for a few weeks, exploring every nook and cranny at this new and marvelous city.
