Episode 64

Everything in the conversation between Mies and Duke Merrica a week ago comes true. Earlier today a messenger from Hallurusia comes to Merrina town and into Duke Merrica house.

Normally a the messenger from a capital would be someone with a noble rank, but instead a Priest by the name Father Herman standing in front of Duke Merrica. From the get go, the Priest has been bombarding Duke with mountains of question, every single question that comes out were questioning who his allies, how he do it, why aren't he asked for help from other noble or the crown, little by little the tone change and further going downhill to accusations.

"You were saying that..with your order and digressions that the whole thing possible?..". (Father Herman)

"Yes…Murr House never eat on their words, we can stand on our own even without the royal help...I remember asking for help, sending letter after letter, tribute after tribute….not a single soul come to my side…now that I succeeded..this....is this my reply?…a doubt?..".(Duke Merrica)

Duke was clearly irritated by Father Herman who's attitude growing worse and worse, his manner and tone become offensive, even to the nonchalant Duke Merrica.

"You should never asked for an outside help…not without getting his Majesty approval…don't you know it's akin to planing a rebellion?..". (Father Herman)

"A REBELLION?!!..Watch your tongue you filthy Priest! Or I'll strike you where you stand right at this moment!!…".(Knight Captain Hughes)

The accuse was aggravating to even be brought up, Knight Captain Hughes was mad, he grip his mace and ready to maul the arrogant priest at any second should his Lord said so.

"I am the messenger of the crown!!..how dare you ignorant knight dare to threat me!!..My words is the words of the king himself!! you northerners Savage!!…Mage Knights!!..". (Father Herman)

As Knight Captain Hughes temper were raising so is Father Herman, and as an arrogant man himself, the looks and threat from a mere noble was nothing to him. He wanted to prove that, the only one with power in the room was him, with his order, the mage knight who come with him unsheathed their swords and try to lunge at Knight Captain Hughes.

"YOU DARE!!!..<ZASS!!>..<ZASS!!>….I don't know from what hole you comes out…but to here in my land, no one can pulled out their weapon in my house without my permission…..let me ask you something…'messenger of the crown'…is his majesty accusing me Duke Merrica Murr of Northern Hallerus, The Lion of North a traitor?…is that what you are here for?…". (Duke Merrica)

In instant the two mage knight were decapitated by the Duke himself. The blood were spurting out showering Father Herman white clergy robe red, the man who seated and clam the whole time now standing before him, staring him down with a cold eyes and deep tone. Father Herman for the first time in fist life experience what fear was, the man before him look like an unleashed beast that standing tall on the mountains waiting to ponce at him at any moment. The other Mage Knights in the presences were also stunned by the sheer killing force that radiates by the Duke, making them wet their back in cold sweat.

Father Herman is a smart man, though knew bear an arrogant attitude, knows when the time to bend on his knees for his survival, that's is how he survive and raise through the ranks all this time. The situation unfolding before him were unfavorable to him at the moment, there's a reason why the man before him was a duke that even the King were afraid and unable to rid off openly. He has a glib tongue, the king send him to inquire and investigate, not to frame the man who personally hail as the Northern Lion who popularity large enough to threat the Royalty.

"N..no..my lord duke…Please for give this stupid head of mine..I'm only here to ask a few questions on behalf of the Crown..and absolutely not to claim any accuse….". (Father Herman)

Kneeling on the feet of Duke Merrica, Father Herman realize he just done a grave mistake and asking for sympathy from him.

"HMPH!!…Tell that fool on the crown..this is my land whatever I do with it is my problem..not his..and definitely not yours and your Church.... Tell his majesty...I will come to Hallerusia in a 3 months…. Now Scram!!..". (Duke Merrica)

Like grabbing a deer by it's neck Duke Merrica choke Father Herman for a good few seconds and throw him out of the room, the latter then struggling to pick himself, thanks to the help of his mage knights he was able to leave the Duke mansion.

After the outrageous messenger left the room and his mansion entirely, Duke Merrica sunk into his chair while massaging his brows.

"What a mess….". (Duke Merrica)

On the other end in Aeternum Black House inside the Square Office.

"That's a poor way to handle a simple messenger…now the king will definitely gonna charge him with treasons…".

[Like I said before…that Duke is temperamental, good man but got quite a temper….if things were leave like this, the Duke will be attacked by 3 sides, the king. The church and the noble who in his territory, wich he still haven't do anything despite the information's you given...and he definitely will fall, and when he did, they will find us…]. (T.A.S)

"i can't let that happen….I spend too much money to just pack up and leave...I got a few solutions in my head, but if I proceed then there's no turning back…".

[Well..if you do nothing then hundred thousand army will come knocking on your door..so I suggest do it..whatever you think is the best course of action, I will do everything to help you..]. (T.A.S)

".….Then, let's wreck havoc…. Let's attack the foolish king and the Church…give me all the information's on the Church and principality of light…I want to know if there's any large number of people who resent them church and fighting them…Locate where the heir to the throne, all of them..Also I want all special forces to assemble in the base…..now..".

Though it might looks like I'm a bit of paranoid, actually I'm not, the reasons is The King knew the forces behind Duke, (Me) were the reasons why he's afraid, because I was able to decimate his carefully plant bandits In just a span of 3 months (actually 1 months). On the other side the Church was wary of me because of my Core Radios, they wanted my technologies I got a few report from T.A.S and Pegasus Wheel company saying that the church has been trying to find where the broadcast came from, they even bought hundreds of it and try to dissemble it, but never successfully did it because the fail safe always destroy the core radios as the case was opened. Right now to me, the threat from Current Hallerusia and The Church isn't the matter of 'if' but 'When' and I not gonna wait before it's to late to react, I need to buy time at least a few years before I openly made my appearance to Fantasma, but seeing that i have to interfere this early, looks like i have to alter a bit of my plans.

With T.A.S help, everyone that required was assembled, all 5 minister, Elder Mikhail, Matriarch Kasuma were standing in front of my desk. They already been brief on the matter by T.A.S, they knew what's going to happened and this is their first war council.

Elder Mikhail and Mole Clan was a passive clans, they not really fond of killing, but seeing there's some truth in Matriarch Kasuma words, he nodded in agreements. As for my Maidens, I can see all of them were burning with desire, as a non-human race, of course they blame the Church for some part of their misfortune.
