Episode 38

"I always thought flying were impossible..who would've thought it was actually this simple…". (Bar)

"This is just one of the example Bar,….there's even a flight vehicles that capable to brought hundreds of people flying across a continent….".

"Really?..that would be amazing to see, I can't wait to see them sir…". (Bar)

After 3 days I've announce that I would be bringing a team to go dungeonering, we finally left the Aeternum capital. Using one of my Helicopter, 5 of us were flying across the large desert called the Big Nothing, Elijah said this desert were to deadly for anyone to wander in, and for thousands of years no one dares to enter it. Actually I already passed through the whole desert to reach Aeternum, it's true that it's dangerous. The last time I came across a scorpion mix with lion that as big as a 5 ton lorry, I still remember that it taste like shrimp.

"Sir we are closing in…I can see the lake now..".(Elijah)

Elijah who seated next to me in the co pilot seat, pointed out towards our front. Just like she said, we all can see a big span of water with beautiful vegetation's around it.

"Wow..it's beautiful..". (Mina)

"The water was so clear and clean…look, there's even bunch of docile beast around it..". (Rafaela)

It's absolutely a breathtaking scenery, the oasis were like a glimmering gem amongst the desolate dunes of sand. The water was pristine clean like an emerald lake, the grass and greenery around it served as a salvation's carpets that provide comfort and foods for it's visitor. There's all kind of beast surrounding it, having a drinks grazing the grass, taking the time of their life. As we were hovering on top of the lake, the beasts started to take notice of us, some started to run away, and some just look up to us and ignore us, but none seem to wanting to attacked us.

"Rafaela, go down and secure our landing…". (Elijah)

"Yes sister..".(Rafaela)

As the only one who have the capability of flying, Rafaela casually jumped of the helicopter and land beside the lake. After finding a place with a flat and solid surface, Rafaela signalling at me that it was safe to land. Which I did skillfully.

"Everyone get ready, Bar..didn't you say that you could put some kind of barrier around the heli?..".

"Already working on it sir.....aaaaaaannd done..".(Bar)

As the other's starts to get off the helicopter and brought their own gears out, Bar already on the ground and burying a bone stake on the ground around the helicopter. By the time he said done, a thin film of barrier form, covering the helicopter in a pyramid shape.

"A level 3 barrier…quite skillful, I praise you Mr. Bar..".(Elijah)

"It's nothing Madam Elijah…I just did what I could with the material I have in hand..beside in my opinion, level 3 barrier is enough to protect our helicopter..".(Bar)

Seeing Bar who seem extremely delighted after being praised makes me wonder how strong the barrier is.

[Sir don't….it's probably could withstand a wild beast attack but yours?….the barrier would definitely shattered if you punch it with your bare hand..]. (T.A.S)

"Oh..okay…wait, just how strong exactly am I?..".

[let's just say..VERY strong…if you wanted to you can even wrestle a dragon to death…]. (T.A.S)

"And how strong a dragon was?..".

[the strongest dragon alive was categorized at Level 9, it's capable to burn down 10 nations in one week….]. (T.A.S)

"Ain't that neat…I guess I never have to worry about getting stronger…that's make everything simpler…".

[I agreed..there's no need for you to wreck havoc, just focus on doing what you wanted the most…which is swimming in a pool of gold..]. (T.A.S)

I never wanted to become a hero or the strongest man alive or something, I only want to be rich, like extremely rich and everything that may come along the way is a bonus. Beside becoming a celebrity and able to change others life is a good thing anyway. After everyone were ready to move all 5 of us jump into the lake on by one, the lake was quite deep it's about 200 meter deep, thanks to the details map and T.A.S guide we easily discovered the dungeon entrance. It's located on the deepest part of the lake, amongst the weeds, and debris of an old civilizations architecture on the lake bed, there's a single rusted iron gate which span for 2 meter big, it covered with a thin layer of membrane, kinda similar to the barrier that Bar set up around our helicopter.

[Only a living being could set a level 4 barrier like this…looks like there's something special in the dungeon..I suggest everyone to be extra careful inside..]. (T.A.S)

Looking at Elijah and the other's I signaled to them, to proceed with care. Mina and Rafaela who wanted to break in the gate cancelled their intention to smash the gate and slowly pushed the gate, it's opened slowly till the point where it's enough for one person to passed through, eventually all of us get in and close the gate back up after we enter.

"it's an ancient site..ancient dwarves city?..". (Elijah)

Elijah was the first to look around us, noticing that she somehow familiar to the traces and architecture of the dungeons.

"Although old, it's still grand…Dwarves is amazing..".(Rafaela)

"aren't dwarves small and short?..how come their city always look big?..look the ceiling is so high…".(Mina)

With a torch light and LED lantern shined the whole site, we could clearly see the detailed and delicate design of a true dwarves architecture art. The meticulous high ceiling, smooth and meticulous placement of each stone blocks on the wall and on the floor. There's even an Old writing and carving on the wall, it's nothing short of an amazing sight and awe.

"Dwarves believes and were from a giant race..at least, they were some time ago…".

"Wait what?..". (Bar)

"it's true, Dwarves were cursed by gods to have a small stature…because when they were still a giants, their unique temperaments and skilled hands makes the gods feels threaten, that's why they were cursed and cast down…still they never stopped embracing their proud nature..".

What I said is not a lie, I only said so because the mythology I read.

Hearing my explanations, Bar, Rafaela and Mina was stunned, with the exceptions of Elijah who nodding and clapping at me with an expression saying 'as expected'.

"How did you know all this sir?..". (Bar)

"His excellency is a High Human..knowing such trivial things is a normal occurrence for him..Everyone get in position, and start moving..". (Elijah)

"YES MADAM!..".

Unknowingly I also respond to Elijah order, I sometimes I wondered if I may have fallen to her chasm of charisma. Using an arrow formations with Mina on the tip, me second, Elijah and Rafaela on the left and right then Bar on the middle, we strive forward.
