Right after Harvey told her about this important matter, Emmie felt so excited. “Oh, wow! It looks like nice news for me! I’d like to have a lot of company, but…” From all the excitement and enjoyment she felt, she nearly forgot regarding how Krist is like. “My son hates a lot of folks, and we don’t even possess any additional rooms apart from the one he’s about to occupy.”

“Yeah, I know. I already realized that. I completely understand your point and I should’ve thought about it first. However, I was rushing and was solely brooding about the child, you know.”

“Oh… please don’t get me wrong. That’s indeed okay, I think all we have got to do is to tell Krist about this and I’m pretty much unsure if he’s getting to take it all right.”

Emmie knew for the fact that her son has been through a great deal, and she fears that adding this may take him go over the edge. However, what should she do if she desires more than something to help this boy? Simply the expression of her face made Harvey perceive what she was thinking about. “Would you like me to talk to him about this matter?” He figured it will be best for him to mention this matter, since this was his decision. Even though he isn’t very positive on what Krist can say afterwards.

“You’re kidding me, right? Are you sure about it? He can have a harsh-tongue.”

“Yes. I’m sure about it, since I made a decision on this. I feel like it will be better if I speak something. But yeah, you’re right with that I can sort of tell.”

“Uhmm… Well… if you’re really sure about your plan… okay then, just bear with him.” Harvey gave Emmie a calming smile right before nervously heading up to stairs. Seems like things are close to get even more difficult and for him, this is solely the start.

Harvey went to knock on Krist’s sleeping room door, but kept on hesitating to really know as he is still feeling extraordinarily nervous. He wasn’t specifically positive what he needed to say, or how to say it in order to create it sounds like one thing he is going to be okay with hearing. Harvey understands that Krist is not sensible with folks and how he literally simply got forced out of rather a sensitive situation, which might simply make anyone shows their worse side. That’s why so far, his initial impression regarding the boy wasn’t terribly positive. Even so, Harvey knew that this wasn’t going to end up okay.

Harvey was able to work up the bravery to knock on the door, finally after standing there for quite a while, making an attempt to prepare his thoughts. He still didn’t know how to put everything in words. However, he knew that he needs to trust his gut feeling.

“What exactly do you want?!” The door flung open with an irritated Krist on the opposite side of it.

“Sorry to disturb you at this point Krist, but we got to talk about one thing.” He rigorously watched Krist as the boy sharp-eyed him, but nodded for him to carry on. “So last night, my very good childhood friend died.”

“That’s indeed not great news. I’m very sorry to hear that.” Havey was still in shocked to visualize the boy look so emotionally involved for the first time.

“I appreciated your sympathy about this. That’s okay… uhmm… what I actually wished to speak about is his son. He’s currently an orphan. I actually tried my best to contact everybody that was his family. However, it didn’t work out the way I would’ve liked.” Harvey paused for a moment and took a deep breath before carrying on to the part he knew that this boy wasn’t about to like. “And because of that, I offered for him to stay here, although the only area that’s open is this one… and since this area is sort of larger in size, I used to be thinking that perhaps you may share a space with him?”

It’s true that Krist hates individuals and would much rather slams his face in a pile of bricks that mingle with humans, he isn’t fully heartless. The last part was aforesaid by Harvey more in the kind of a question instead of a statement since he was so nervous, because he doesn’t know him enough to speak concerning such a big decision. He went fully silent afterwards. For Kirst, he understands that with the way circumstances were, this is the best choice for this orphan boy he doesn’t recognize.

“You got another bed, right?” Krist asked, nonchalantly making an attempt to show Harvey that he was willing to go alongside his decision.

“Hmmm… Yeah, we’ve got a spare down within the basement.”

“That’s great to know. I’ll bring it over.”

And just like that, he walked passed his mom’s new lover and went to go search for the other bed down within the basement. Deep down, Harvey knew that Emmie’s son wouldn’t be some monster. He’s simply a tad bit different and sometimes misunderstood. But still, Harvey was on the far side shocked and even more relived to see how well he managed things then again.

Down within the basement, Krist instantly carried the heavy bed up two flights of stairs as shortly as he found the doorway to the basement, without any assistance from his mother or Harvey. He’s sturdy built since he works out daily, therefore this wasn’t all that tough for him to try and do. He released a breath that he was holding while carrying it once he has the bed inside. It absolutely was an exhausting task and now since there have been two beds within the room, it’s about to make it even a lot of exhausting to position them within the space which will suit him and also the other boy who will live here.

Harvey came back up to see on Krist. He saw how he carried that bed all the way up here and he didn’t wish to simply sit around when he can be of use to him. Emmie did tell him how he doesn’t permit anyone’s help, however he simply had to ask. “Uhmm… I’m just wondering… do you like any help?”

“I’d really rather ask you to go away because I’m about to re-arrange the area and no offense, but you’ll simply get within the way. I’m really fine, but yeah… thanks for the offer.”

“That’s not a problem at all. Simply let me know if you would like something, okay? I’ll just be right down stairs.”

“That’s noted.” Krist answered in his disreputable disrespectful tone. After that, Harvey shut the door and sighed before walking back to down stairs.

Emmie asked Harvey while not looking up. “How was Krist?”

“Well… he was precisely how you described him to be.”

“I sincerely apologize for his behaviour. He does have a kind side and he’s a decent child, it’s simply hard to see that sometimes.” Harvey simply watched as Emmie gave him a little smile and shook her head.

“Once I told him regarding my best friend’s son, he didn’t even show an indication of annoyance. So no, I totally understand. He took it without becoming upset and at that moment, I knew that there’s a lot of to him than meets the eye.”

Emmie was simply blessed to have somebody like Harvey by her side. He is perpetually aware of what to say when she’s having a rough time. She smiled and got up from her chair to hug him. Harvey hugged ger back tightly and that’s when they heard a soft knock at the door.

“Oh! It’s like he’s here now.” Once Harvey made his decision concerning having the boy stay with them, somebody from the hospital workers offered to provide him a ride to their home.
