He stared at his watch with disappointment. He didn’t want this moment to end with her. Fear of never seeing her again struck him in his chest. He turned off the water and opened the shower door. “I thought Melissa handled all of your client’s appointments.” She asked while grabbing the towel he offered to her. “She does, but you are something special and I intend on keeping you around for as long as I can. You will only call me, understand?” She nodded as he wrote his number on the back of one of his cards, still in the nude.

Alyssa honestly didn’t know what was happening, but she took it for what it was as she dressed in a long sundress Melissa picked out for her. “She may be a bitch but she has good taste.” She joked placing on the dress. Jason kissed the top of her forehead after dressing as well. “It was such a pleasure to meet you, Alyssa. I will walk you out.” He grabbed her hand as they walked together to the elevator and to the lobby.

Melissa’s head turned like it was going to snap at the sight of them holding hands together. Jason walked her all the way to the door with a smile and wave goodbye. He turned to see his secretary furious. “What the hell was that?” She jerked his arm in her rage, but Jason remained calm. “There are rules in place for a reason Jason. You know this.” Jason causally fixed his sleeve. “I know the rules, Melissa. I made them up remember?” He began to walk past her until she followed him through the lobby.

“This woman will be trouble. We can’t afford another lawsuit like last time.” Jason pressed for the elevator. “I’m sure she won’t be like Diamond Terrell.” Melissa began to approach him differently with a kiss on his neck as she reached up feeling on his chest. “That is why you need me.” He grabbed her wrists pressing her against the elevator. “Melissa, don’t act like you don’t know why you’re here. You owe me, not the other way around.” He replied with a mischievous smile.

“Why are you breaking your rules? Why her? You never take a shower with your clients.” She continued to rub against him, though it was more annoying to him than seductive. “She isn’t a client. She will be back and once she is here you will treat her better. Understand?” Melissa folded her arms very childlike. He grabbed her wrists again. “Understand?” “Why her?” Jason entered the elevator. “I came, Melissa, for the first time.”

He left her with her mouth opened as she entered the elevator. “You what? How? I thought you couldn’t because of the curse.” Jason clicked the penthouse floor. “I thought so as well, but I did. It was…” He needed another word besides perfect. “Interesting.” Melissa held her chest in shock, leaning against the elevator. “That woman did this for you?” She said in disbelief, sounding disgusted by Alyssa.

Jason shook his head at her judgmental tone. “Have a problem with a little meat on someone’s bones? You are the exact reason we can’t see each other anymore Melissa. You’re vain and quite judgmental, especially talking to a high-end prostitute.” The elevator opened to his penthouse. “I’m going out tonight to see Dan. You and Frank can take off.” She nodded pressing the elevator back down.

Jason turned to his home feeling overwhelmed by the day. Glad he was done for the night with his clients because he was exhausted.
