Whizzing in the air with the speed of sound, the enhanced bullets burst half of the enemies' body apart. Frowning, after just a few shots, Luke noticed how the flow of magic from his body to the magic circuits inside the gun became unstable. As if an invincible force tried to disrupt his connection's magic from the surrounding air.

Focusing his attention more to maintain the flow, on his side, Rosemare wasn't idle. The android already started the shoot the moment its master had decided to face their foes. Although the AP bullets destructive prowess wasn't as strong as enhanced wind's bullets, they were dealing quite a damage by killing the abominations one by one after a few shots.

After seeing them up close, they could see that the abominations had the body of centipede, with wings resembling that of a bat and width of eight meters long. The body length could be seen more than twenty meters long in a glance, and on its head, there's a pair of mandibles on its mouth. At the end of its tail, there was a three meters steel blade attached to its flesh, used for attacking its prey in medium range.

*Shrrieeekk*

Watching their brethren fall down one after another, the rest of the abominations shrieked loudly as they went berserk. Without regards to their life anymore, the flock started to get closer and closer. Flying in a zigzag way, avoiding the bullets by hiding in their kin's back for a brief moment, and so on.

After the sudden accelerated move from the horde, Luke quickly tried to get a distance between them while shooting at the same time. Following his lead, Rosemare was busy emptying the gun's magazines and reducing their enemies numbers.

But before they could get away too far, a loud bang sounded as a flash of blue thunder flew in the air with lightning speed. In just a few milliseconds later, before the sound could even reach on Luke's ears, a hole as big as a bowl appeared on Rosemare's belly.

"Sniper!" his pupils constricted, Luke turned his body to the direction where the bullet likely came from.

"ᚲᛟᚾᚾᛖᚲᛏᛁᛟᚾ! (Connection!)"

Spreading both of his hands, Luke chanted the spells loudly as transparent magic circuits spreading from his gauntlets to the air.

"ᛗᛁᛋᛏ! (Mist!)"

In no time, a torrent of mist emerged from thin air and surrounded everything in the radius of one hundred meters, with Luke's position as the center. Successfully covered their position at the moment, Luke linked his control panel on his helmet to Rosemare's system and said, "Percentage of damage?"

"[21% damage to the overall of android's body. Four functions had received malfunction. Immediate treatment for the core system is suggested.]"

Sighed in relief as the damage wasn't as bad as he thought, Luke turned his head to where the abominations were and said, "Let's go and clean up this place real quick. We have no time to waste."

"[Acknowledged.]"

Raising the intensity of his jet thrusters, Luke started speeding up to the abominations as he raised his handguns and began shooting nonstop. Controlling the mist to follow him, he let his connection magic to be still connected to the surrounding air to move the mist.

Although his concentration had to be split into three parts, one to use the wind magic spells on his bullets, another to control the mist, and last was to predict his opponents movements, Luke was barely able to manage it and decided to quickly wipe out the abominations.

*Khraahh!*

After the last, dying scream of the abominations, he started to feel a migraine on his head after his mental power had to multitask at the same time. As he was about to deal with the sniper, a distress signal had appeared on the corner of his holographic screen that was inside his helmet.

Seeing that the signal had come from his colleagues, Luke's expression became grim as he said, "Open the last location of the distress signal. Code B 189-230-112."

"[Opening the signal location. The last location. Searching….]"

A few seconds later, a beep sound came out from his holographic panel as it said, "[Location had been found.]"

Nodding his head slightly, Luke replied, "Take me there."

Soon, a 3D map of the area had been projected on Luke's screen as there's a green line route for him to reach the location in the fastest time possible. Moving his gaze towards Rosemare, Luke sighed and muttered softly.

"It's time for the complex magic…"

Letting go of his connection with the mist, Luke instead used the magic link to twist the air in mysterious ways. Mumbling, Luke said as magic power filled his tongue at the moment he was about to chant the spell.

"ᛁᚾᚡᛁᛋᛁᛒᛁᛚᛁᛏᚤ.. (Invisibility..)"

Shortly, his body began to become transparent by the seconds and after a minute, he had disappeared completely from the naked eyes. Stretching out his hand to Rosemare, his fingers started to twist in the air as if he was trying to open up an invisible lock.

A moment later, a magic circle as big as his hand had come into view and flew right at the chest area on Rosemare. After it landed, magic circuits started to spread unto Rosemare's body. From head to toe, the magic circuits began to glow for half a second. In the blink of an eye, Rosemare had become invisible as well.

Sighed out loud, Luke turned half of all his concentration to maintain the invisibility spell. The reason he didn't want to use this spell back then when he saw that there was a sniper, he was afraid he wouldn't be able to maintain the spell and fight at the same time. The spell was more complex to use than the mist spell, which just had to create the mist but didn't have to maintain it.

Moving his gaze to a certain direction, Luke's expression became grim once more as he muttered.

"Now, shall we take a look?"
