3rd day but until now I have no plans

how can I get her out of the house !!!

3:00 am

I’m here now in Mary Ann’s room. While watching her face I was thinking of an idea.

She’s cute ... when I disappear forever, can I still see your smiles? ... can I still hear your voices? ... I don’t want to disappear ... I don’t want to leave you ...

And suddenly tears dripped down to my cheeks. Now that my days are near, it sinks even deeper into me; I am dead.

8:20 am

From a distance of more than 20meters, I sat at the bench near the door of Mary Ann’s house in case a miracle happens and she came out

and it was as if the heavens had opened, and the Lord had heard my request

Mary Ann left the house !!!

wait wait ... maybe she’ll mistake me for being a stalker if I suddenly show up to her right now!

and I came up with a good idea!

I’ll be pretending I was jogging!!! I’m really smart!

from a distance, I pretended to be jogging until my body materialized and luckily she is going to the store

“Mary Ann?” (pretended to be surprised)

“John Carl?”- Mary Ann, she has a surprise on her face

“Hello, what a coincidence that I would see you here”

but in my mind, I’m praising myself for being witty

“Hi, why are you here?” - Mary Ann

“Me? I was jogging then I saw a familiar face and luckily it was you”

my lie was easy to bust, but her expression seems to believe it! 

She looks all over me and asks. “Do you love jogging?

“Not really, but maybe I’ll be doing this more often so I can see you.”

with a smile on her cute face, she answers it pretty quickly

“hehehe, you’re crazy I only went out to buy” - Mary Ann

though it was too fast, I’ve gathered my self-confidence and ask her

“Is that so, I think it was destiny, are you free later?”

“Ooh, why is there anything you want to say?”- Mary Ann, her eyes seems questioning my request.

“A little catch-up, is it okay with you?”

“No, I’m sorry, but I’m available tomorrow”- Mary Ann

my god!!! why!!! today will just be a waste of time, no no no ... I should say something to her so she can really come tomorrow

“Oh, okay then it’s settled, BTW tomorrow ill tell you something about your last boyfriend”

she furrowed his forehead, but it caught her attention and ask

“My last boyfriend? Wait just say it now.” - Mary Ann, she is curious not because it was about her lost memory but she has an ex-bf!

“We can do it tomorrow so we can have a long time.” I smiled merrily at her with some sweat because of the pressure.

“Okay sure, tomorrow what time? “- Mary Ann, she smiles at me

“Anytime, how about you?”

“Is it okay uhm around 2 pm?” - Mary Ann

“All right, let’s go to the family park”. I raise my hand and thumbs up her so she won’t act suspicious.

“Sure, I’ll go now because I just really bought this.” - Mary Ann

“Okay, be safe Me- Mary Ann”

and that’s when I left Mary Ann and return to being a soul

the tense was still with me. Why am I like this, I am her boyfriend, not some other man, but the feeling that I can to talk to her face to face, made my heart jump merrily

and some weird idea comes up to my brain. Quickly I call Grim Reaper

“Grim Reaper”

like a genie, he arrives immediately!

“Bah! want to come to me already?” - Grim Reaper

he is not in the good mood now, but who cares I have an idea!

“no! can you give me some paper and a pen?”

he rolled up his eyes like a bratty girl in a rebellious state

“you’re writing a letter for the woman? It’s okay as long as it violates no condition” - Grim Reaper.

“Really? wait is the papers that you are giving me are just also like me? That will disappear soon?”

Don’t worry as long as you hold the paper and pen you can use it and all the letters you give her will remain like the work of a normal person" - Grim Reaper

he throws me the paper that I need and with motion shooing, like a dog he drives me away!

“Thank you. Do you have a pen?”

after a while, Grim Reaper handed me papers and a pen

it quickly disappears without a trace

now that I have the paper, what I want to write seems to be vanish from my brain

the day was over and it was a quarter to 12mn, I can go to Mary Ann

when I arrived at her room, she was still awake

I immediately approached her and looked at what she was doing

but the sleepiness was obvious in her eyes but she is still watching Larva Show

At exactly 3 am, a strange black shadow suddenly appeared in the corner of her room!

“Who are you? What are you doing here in my GF’s room !?”

the shape of the shadow slowly formed and gave the appearance of a large hairy man.

“A Kapre!!”

(Kapre is a Filipino horror myth that appears like a person with a hairy body and a face of an ancient people)

“You- what are y-you doing here?”- Kapre.

“Move away!!!”

“you leave- I will take my wife now “- Kapre, it continues its advancement towards Mary Ann

“What wife! This is my GF and importantly, she is not your wife!”. I quickly block his path.

“You- make me angry, you- can’t beat me!” - Kapre

and suddenly the Kapre charge at me

“ugggggggg gaaaaa!!!”

like a piece of paper the Kapre push me hard!

It headed to Mary Ann and treat me like an unnecessary existence!

“Leave her!!!”

I rushed mindlessly to the Kapre and gave it a powerful blow to the face

but the Kapre didn’t even flinch

“You- you make me angry!”

the Kapre grab my neck and shouted at me

words I could not understand

“L-let go... of.. me...”

the Kapre is not letting me go and my mind is slowly turning black

is a former dead still die ... if I die again will I not be able to reincarnate ... or my soul will not go to heaven ... many questions entered my mind but only one thing is clear, I want to save Mary Ann

“G-Grim R-Reaper”

and like a magic word, the Grim Reaper came out from nowhere.

He touched the Kapre’s shoulder

with a simple tap, its shoulder disappeared!

“GUOO!!!!! Who are- you?!”- Kapre

“kukuku its amazing how an evil spirit has the courage to talkback to a grim reaper.”- Grim Reaper, his stare to the Kapre was full of bloodlust!

“UGGOOAA!!!”- Kapre, it is too terrifying to see the Grim Reaper

being helpless, it runs away fast!

but before he could get away he was stopped again by the grim reaper and with a wave of his hand, the Kapre turns to dust of light and disappears

“ha ... ha ... ha ... why is there a Kapre here!” (Kapre a Philippine mythical creature that could be characterized as a tree demon)

“Good thing you called me. You almost became a fertilizer of the spiritual world” - Grim Repear.

“HA !!!? What fertilizer?!”. the most shocking part of it was its like a natural thing to the Grim Reaper saying these things!

“When you die again, you will vanish forever. There will be no reincarnation, there will be no more heaven and hell for your soul and you will perish forever.”- Grim Reaper, he crosses his arms while explaining to me the possible outcome of my heroic act earlier.

“eeee !!!”

“So next time be careful. I’ll go now.”- Grim Reaper, he points his finger towards me as if he was lecturing 

Despair crosses my mind and ask him immediately. “Wait!! why did that thing go to my GF?!”. 

“Probably just by chance he saw your GF and its beauty attract him, moreover it is normal for them to find a wife so when they meet someone they like, they will always visit it until they hypnotize the person and they will take them to their world.”- Grim Reaper, his explaining it to me like it was a natural occurrence in the world.

“What can I do so that no one will attack my girlfriend like that?!”

“It’s just a coincidence and it probably won’t happen again, because they know one of their relatives died in the hand of Grim Reaper” - Grim Reaper, he just shrugs his shoulder

“Okay, I’m glad that Kapre already disappeared, Thank you”

“Bah! See yah Kid.”- Grim Reaper, he vanishes quickly and leaves no trace behind

but because I’m still scared, I wait until 5:55 am before leaving Mary Ann because what if someone will attack again

10:01 am

I was just floating in the family park and I was looking to see if any employees would know me here

“Fortunately, there are no employees here who might know me”

while I was just floating, I wondered why I can’t fly if I can float,

what my height is, just like how high I can float, it’s unfair

By chance, someone was selling flowers across from the family park. I wish I could buy it but I can’t, sad.

I waited for 1 pm before I left the family park. I had to double-check because it’s hard when someone recognizes me.

1:20 and here I am in the jeep to the family park, I will just wait here for Mary Ann and then pretend it surprised me to see her

1:34 pm

And from a distance, I can see a woman. She is not that thin, especially since she is also not fat, just right ... just right for me.

“John Carl?”- Mary Ann, she surprises to see me here

“Hey, you’re here, I just arrived here also, I can accompany you to the family park hahaha”

“Yes. Let’s go together.” - Mary Ann, her simple smile while following me is like the old days

This time it was a bit awkward because the jeep is full, so we are super close to each other. This is what they said the blessing in disguise,

and as we got out of the jeep, we immediately entered the park.

“It’s beautiful here.”- Mary Ann.

“Don’t you remember this place?”

“I remember going but the anything else is none “- Mary Ann, her dejected looks, like a little girl who got stolen its candy

“That’s why do you know you used to be here often”

“Really? What?” - Mary Ann, it shocks her because she remembers nothing about going here.

“I will answer that too, hahaha let’s find a seat first”. as we walk side by side, this scene is really familiar to me

“Okay sure”. she looks around and sees the different sceneries

Under a tree, there was a chair, and there’s Mary Ann and I sat

“but it’s a bit hot right now, huh”

“Yeah.”- Mary Ann, she’s wiping her sweat but her smile never falters

“Besides, there are very few people today”

“Are there many people here often?” - Mary Ann, her face looks questioning

“yes there is almost no seat”. as tell her, I raise both of my hand and circle

“We’re lucky!”- Mary Ann, she’s smiling while enjoying the different views

“I’m lucky to have you”

“What?”- Mary Ann, she doesn’t hear what I said and stares at me

“Uh nothing hahaha you are always here before.”

“Right, what about it?”- Mary Ann, it immediately caught her attention

“Do you know that you once cried here, hahaha “

“HA !!!? Really? How did that happen?” - Mary Ann, her face suddenly blush and trembled.

“Well, that happened when your dance project at P.E’s deadline was near and your group didn’t want to listen”. I explained to her everything that happened that day.

“Maybe... but it’s a pity, I don’t really remember “- Mary Ann, she looks solemn because of not remembering any of it

To make her happy again, I declared to her. “I’ll take care of it. I’ll tell you everything I know about you”

“Really? Thank you ... My mom don’t want to remind me anymore, because she said it doesn’t seem that important”- Mary Ann

It also caught my attention and ask her. “Even your BFF Janella doesn’t say anything?”.

“Yes, it looks like mama forbid her” - Mary Ann

“Maybe they do that to protect you from the terrible memories you had before, and maybe so you will not be traumatized by your accident”

and she just nodded at me

and at that moment I told Me ann the things I knew as well even the legend of the rats I also told her that just to make her happy

time is fast, it’s close to 4 pm already

we also walked, and we looked at the animals in Family Park and she seemed thrilled to see the beautiful peacock feathers, especially when its tail is straight

She’s enjoying the tour and suddenly tells me something. “Hey did you know Carl when we were at the people’s park last time”

“What’s that?”

“We were there in the front of monkey cage when suddenly some children approached the monkey and call them John Carl ahahahaha”- Mary Ann, she’s laughing hard because the names of the monkey were very the same as mine

“EEEHHHH!!!!”

I know that!! That’s probably the kids who used to be in the people’s park when Phil called the monkey using my name !! That was embarrassing !!!

suddenly lots of children rush there and call the monkeys using my name!

I immediately changed our conversation and told her where to exercise. She liked it but she got tired easily, her body was not really used to such things

then we also went to the fountain where I thought it did not work and I have a crazy idea

so I bravely stood in the middle of it

But suddenly the water came!!! I was soaking wet, and the guards scolded us.

BAD SHOT !!

As we walked, we looked at each other, and for some unknown reason we suddenly laughed

“HAHAHAHAH HAHAHAH !!” - Mary Ann, she’s laughing while holding her stomach

so do I. “HAHAHAHA HAHAHA AHAHAHA I was really surprised”

“Your face when you got wet was so hilarious, AHAHAHAHA”- Mary Ann, while pointing at me and her laughter never cease

“It was embarrassing !! ahahahaha”

“HAHAHA you are soaking wet hahahahaha” - Mary Ann

“It’s okay, it will dry out right away HAHAHA”

we walked again until my clothes also dried up and it was 6 pm

“Carl looks like I need to go home ... “- Mary Ann, her faces likes she doesn’t want to go home already

“Oh yes, it’s already 6 o’clock, so it’s getting a little dark, I’ll take you home”

she looks at me with a cheerful face. “Okay thank you :)”

While we were in the jeep,

“Did you enjoy it? Are you happy?”

“yes, thank you very much, Carl, I enjoy it” - Mary Ann, her face looks satisfied with our unofficial date

“Always welcome, the important thing is to make you happy”

We talked a little in the jeep until we got off

the smile never left Me Ann’s face and every second I saw her happy, I felt like I was on drugs and I had so much fun

we arrived near the corner of their house

“ummm ... we are here Carl, thank you very much again :)” - Mary Ann

“Thank you also-“

and before I could finish what I was saying, she hugs me and left running

and like broken music, I do not know what to say, and I am stunned with what she did to me

also before she could disappear from my sight she looks again and waves

when she disappeared from my sight I was,

like a mad dog, I cry because of the joy and happiness I feel

I was just lying on the roof right now while thinking about the cheerful conversation we had earlier and her hug with me

Fortunately, I am in spirit form because if the owner of the house hears my actions here he will wonder why there are noises to their roof

every day I try to pretend to pass by to their house in case Me Ann comes out so we can date again

and destiny seems to favor me and I see her coming out to buy, and because of this I have a chance to talk to her

Sometimes I’m just really unlucky and I don’t see her coming out, so what I do is I continue my letter for her

a few days passed, over and over again, and I was feeling somehow satisfied because somehow I was getting closer to her heart.
