CHAPTER 05

Moon went to his car. He was unlocking his car when a familiar scent hit his nostrils. He looked around and found Ocean standing near a car. She was smiling, he looked at her smiling face and a smile made it's way to his lips. "Ocean has a really gorgeous smile." He thought. 

Ocean felt someone's staring at her, she looked around and found Moon drooling over her with a sexy smile on his face. Her heart skipped a beat."(Stupid heart." She thought. "I'm not interested in him, I'm running away from him. Then why? Stupid heart." She quickly hopped into the car and locked the door. Jack thought she might be tired or hungry or maybe both, he drove off fast. She caught a site of Moon, who's smiling face was suddenly sad. His shining eyes were dim. It squeezed her heart and she felt bad. She knew, she was the reason of his sad face. She tried to brush off the thoughts but she couldn't. Her tongue started to move itself and she asked a question to Jack she wasn't expecting!

Ocean: What if I feel like I'm the reason of someone's pain? What should I do?

Jake: I don't think you can hurt anyone. But if you have and you think you're the reason of someone's pain or tears. Then go talk to them, clear things up, apologise.

Ocean: What if they won't forgive me?

Jack: If you will apologise pure heartedly then they will.

Moon went back home. He didn't eat anything, since he came back home, he just locked himself in his room. At the time of dinner, Maria Kart, Moon's mother sent a maid to called him for dinner but he replied he ain't hungry. Maria got worried and went to his room. He was sitting at the edge of the bed, arms around his legs. He was looking at the dark forest from his wide window. He was so deep in his thoughts that he didn't even noticed Maria. Maria sat besides Moon and rubbed his back lovingly. Moon looked at her and forced a smile on his face. He laid down and put his head in her lap. Maria was sure that something was troubling her son. She asked him.

Maria: What's troubling my Moon so much that he's so lost and sad?

Moon: It's a girl ma.

Maria: She must be so so special that she has effected you this much.

Moon: She is ma. She sweet, she's cute, she's innocent, she's stunning and I love the way her dimples get deeper when she smiles.

Maria: Slow down. Who is she? Now I'm more curious, no one's effected you this much ever before.

Moon: When you'll meet her, you'll say the same.

Maria: Okay wait. This feels like a deja vu to me. Are we talking about the same girl 6 years back or it's someone else?

Moon: Ma, I might be a bad boy but I'm not a play boy. It's the same girl.

Maria: What's her name?

Moon: Ocean Knight.

Maria: Is she Jack Knight's daughter?

Moon: Nope. A: she's not a brat like them and B: her parents died 2 weeks ago.

Maria: That's so bad.

Moon: Yeah. Ma, I don't know why, but she's running away from me. She doesn't even look at me. If she does, I smell fear from her.

Maria: What did you do?

Moon: random stuff ma, like I do to all the new students.

Maria: Looks like she took it a lot more serious than it was. Your random joke might have scared her.

Moon: No no no ma. That can't happened. I didn't know. Please help me ma.

Maria: Why don't you just talk to her? Tell her it was just a joke.

Moon: You're right. I'll talk to her on Monday. Even better, I'll apologise to her.

Maria: I thought my Moon never apologise!

Moon: Yeah, but for her I can kiss her toes.

Maria: That's a new Moon for me. Now come on. Everyone's waiting.

Moon: What's for dinner?

Maria: Roasted lamb.

Moon: I love you ma.

Maria: I love you too my baby boy.

Moon had his dinner with his family. After dinner, he went back to his room. He was lying on the bed when Ocean's memories made it's way to his mind.

Moon was swimming in the lake when three girls tricked a fish and and got it out of the lake. Untill moon could reach it, the fish was already out. It was fighting for it's life and those three brats were enjoying it. Moon wasn't allowed to show himself to the others like that. He was watching it, slowly dying, helplessly. Then another girl came to that fish. Moon looked at her she was so pure like river water. He thought she would do the same as those three brats were doing, but she didn't. She quickly grabbed the fish and threw it back into the lake. She was biting her lower lip in nervousness, in a minute fish started to move and it swam back to depth. She smiled cheekily. The dimples on her cheeks got deeper as she smiled. She stayed there a minute or two then left. Moon carefully followed her every where. But as the sun started to settle down, She left with her family, Moon recognized her family, he knew them. But he never had seen that beautiful girl before. Moon went back to his home. She was humming a song all day. Her sweet voice was sweeter then a bird. He closed his eyes, the sweet humming became his lullaby and he drifted off. Next day, he woke up early and left. He wanted to see her again, but she was leaving. They drove off and moon started to follow the car on foot. The car picked up the speed and so did moon. Then he decided to hit the car. He ran faster and hit it. He was a kid and it hurt so bad. But he didn't care. All he cared about to see her one last time before she'll be gone for God knows how long. Her parents stepped out of the car, they were yelling at each other. Then they looked for anyone or anything they might have hurt. They went to the woods and moon cheered in happiness. He was stairing at her, she must have felt that. She locked all the doors of the car. Moon smiled and kept staring at her. Suddenly, she looked straight in his eyes and her eyes turned pitch black. She opened the car, stepped out and slowly started walking in Moon's direction. Moon tried to stop her but couldn't. Soon he was lost in her eyes too, they kept staring at each other's eyes. The whole world vanished. She kept on walking towards moon until someone grabbed her arm and turned her. Their eye contact broke and moon felt like he just woke up from a deep sleep. He didn't understand what happened to him. He didn't move and kept admiring her beauty. Her father took her to the car, they all got in and he heard her father.

Sam: Ocean is never coming back here, Ever.

By the time he moved to stop them, they were gone. Moon went back to his home, he was crying and didn't eat whole day. His mother asked and he told her everything about the girl.

Maria: Shhh…. It's okay son. If she belongs to you then she'll come back. The destiny will bring her back to you.
