CHAPTER 03

After her parents' funeral, Ocean locked herself in room. Jack tried a lot to get her out and make her come back to her life, but she refused. Seeing her like this Jack's heart ached. He was sitting in his garden when Lora came and patted his shoulder.

Lora: Talk to me Jack, I'm worried about both of you!

Jack: I just want to do something that can ease her pain, her sorrows. I know she misses them. But locking herself like that and crying all the time isn't going to help her.

Lora: Once she'll join school, she'll feel better and it will ease up her pain too.

Jack: I didn't even think about it. You're right, thanks love.

Jack fished out his phone and dialed Principal Albert. In an hour Jack and Lora met him and showed him Ocean's past history and grades. Principal Albert was impressed with Ocean's profile. He gave her a seat in his school. Jack and Lora happily went back to the Villa to tell Ocean about her school. They bought her cookie and ice cream treat. As they reached home and went straight to Ocean's room. They told her how easily she's got admission and how principal Albert was happy seeing her grades and past records. A cute smile made it's was to Ocean's lips. She finally smiled.

Jack: Are you happy?

She nodded her head in agreement and hugged Jack. He told her that she could join school from tomorrow also told her that he's taking her for shopping so she can buy things she needs for school. She got up and went to bathroom. She took a quick shower and changed in to jeans and t shirt. She went downstairs where Jack and Lora were waiting for her. Ocean hopped into the car and they drove off to the mall. Lora helped Ocean to pick up some decent dresses and casual clothes for her. Also she helped Ocean to buy some shoes bags and basic necessities for school. After an hour or so they went to the cafe, Jack finally saw his niece happy again. They had their lunch in cafe then they went back home.

Next day brought hopes for Ocean. She wore her skinny blue jeans and white buttoned up shirt. She wore her shoes and went downstairs. Triplets were on the dinning table. They thought she's just up early. But Jack told them that Ocean is joining their school, he also warned his daughters not to trouble her or Jack will punish them. The triplets left for the school but Jack drove Ocean himself. Ocean pecked Jack's cheek, got out of the car and walked through the school's main gate. Jack told her to find principal's office and talk to him only. She was walking towards to school's main building when a tall and handsome guy blocked her way. She tried to walk away but he didn't let her. She felt scared, things like that never happened to her in her old school. Her cousins were standing in the crowd and we're enjoying everything. She was looking at her feet nervously. Moon noticed her nervousness and spoke.

Moon: You can only pass if I let you. Now tell me, what's your name?

Ocean: Ocean, my name is Ocean Knight.

Moon: Another Knight. You ain't look all nerdy and bratty like the other three.

Ocean: They are my cousins.

Moon: look at me then answer me. I don't like being avoided.

She looked at Moon. Moon looked straight in her beautiful blue eyes. She also looked straight in his eyes. She felt something familiar in those green orbs. Moon smiled and got out of her way.

Moon: You can go.

Melody: Just like that. That was way too easy Moon.

Moon gave Melody an angry glare and pointed his index finger on her.

Moon: Firstly, it's Mr Kart for you. Secondly, she passed that test long time ago. Now tell me where you are going?

Ocean: To the principal's office.

Moon: Do you know where it is?

Ocean: In the main building.

Moon: Yes. You can go.

Ocean: Thanks.

She walked to the main building. Moon couldn't get his eyes off of her. It's her, her knew it's her. Ocean stepped in the main building, she roamed around but couldn't find principal's office. She was lost. She initially cursed herself for refusing the help moon had offered her. She called her cousins but they cut the call. Then she saw two guys, she went to them for help. They looked at her like she was their prey. Before they could do anything wrong, moon found her. He reached to her.

Moon: What are you doing here?

Ocean: I'm lost, I thought they could help me.

Moon told her to wait for him and went to those two guys.

Moon: I very well know what's going on in your dirty little head. If you ever looked at her again, I'll make sure to make your colorful life nothing but dark.

They nodded and left. Moon took Ocean to principal's office and left. She sighed in relief and knocked at office door.

Principal Albert: Come in.

Ocean: Good morning sir.

Principal Albert: Ahh.. Good Morning. You must be Miss Ocean Knight. You're very punctual. I like that.

Without wasting any time, principal handed her all her stuff and notes she needed. Then he called a girl from her same standard. Angella came in and salute principal Albert.

Angella: How can I help you today?

Principal Albert: Miss Nathan, meet Miss Knight. She's new here. I want you to be her guide and be friends with her as well.

Angella: I'll be more than happy to help her. Hi, what's your name? My name is Angella Nathan. You can call me angella or Angle as all my friends call me.

Ocean: Hi, I'm Ocean Knight.

Ocean followed Angell. She showed Ocean a bit then they both heard warning bell. Angella gave ocean the direction to her class and went to take her class. Moon was standing in front of the class, talking to his friends. He saw Ocean coming his way. He stood straight but Ocean pretended like she didn't see him. He saw Ocean went to the same class. Moon smiled and was about to get in to the class when Jake, his best friend called him.

Jake: Dude! Where are you going?

Moon: To the class.

Jake: Dude, are you alright?

Moon: Yeah! I'm fine. I'll see you all after the class.

Jake and the others stood there, shocked. Moon got into the class and spotted Ocean sitting in the third row, he went to her and sat beside her. Ocean shifted in her seat uncomfortably and Moon noticed that. He tapped on her shoulder and spoke.

Moon: You know, I don't eat people.

Ocean didn't replied him, he tapped on her shoulder again. She fully ignored him. Moon tapped on her shoulder again and Ocean gave him a deadly glare. Moon chuckled, seeing she looked more cute when angry. He roze both of his hands in the air in surrender. Teacher got into the class and froze seeing Moon in the class.

Professor Mitchell: Today must be a lucky day for us all. Mr Kart has finally decided to attend the class. What so special today Mr Kart that brought you here today?

Moon: The Moon has found it's Sky in your boring class today, Mr Mitchell.

Professor Mitchell: And where is your Sky?

Moon: Above your head old man.

Professor Mitchell: At least you're here, to attend this class.

Moon: Whether I take your class or not. I'm always the one here who gets A+.

Professor Mitchell: Some times I really get curious, how actually you get A+ everytime?

Moon: You wanna test me again old man. Wanna see again whether I cheat or not? You've already lost that bet about thirty times in 2 years.

Professor Mitchell: No I'm not in a mood to place a bet with you again on this.

Everyone settled in their places and professor started his lacture. After 10 minutes Mala Brooke got into the class. Professor Mitchell started clapping and hinted the others to stand up and clap either. Ocean was watching all this, she was confused.

Professor Mitchell: We are so blessed today. First Mr Kart and now Miss Brooke here as well.

Mala: If you missed me that much, you would have called darling.

Professor Mitchell: What is so special today? Please tell me somebody.

Moon: Don't look at me old man, I've told you already.

Andrew: It's the new girl in our class that brought Moon to your class.
