Chapter One

My parents waited too long to have children, so when they did have one, me, they decided one was enough. Growing up with older parents and no brothers or sisters, as you can imagine, made life a little bit boring. I am currently still in school, although, I'm nearly done with my senior year, and spend most of my time alone since my mother and father spend most of their time somewhere exotic... or working.

This week was no different.

I arrived home from school and found a note stuck on the fridge;

Your mother and I have been called away on a business trip to New York. The fridge is fully stocked. We will only be gone a few days. Remember to keep the house clean, Go to school and stay safe.

I screwed the piece of paper up and threw it in the bin next to the sink. Please! They were the same rules every time. Why do they even bother leaving notes?!

Walking over to the fridge, I grabbed a bottle of Coca Cola and headed up to my room. As soon as I got upstairs, I kicked off my shoes and jumped on my bed. My Laptop was already open from when I was on it this morning before I left for school.

I quickly checked to see if I had any notifications on my various sites.

Sighing loudly, I decided to just lay down and scroll through Facebook on my phone. There wasn't much else to do, and I was curious to see what people were getting up too. It was pretty much the same old, same old... and then a post popped up that made me freeze.

Groaning, knowing I'd never be more than just his best friend's young daughter, I logged off Facebook and put my laptop away. I put my phone on silent and set it down on the bedside table next to me. I didn't want any distractions while I relaxed before dinner. Maybe I'll watch something, but what?

Scrolling through the options in my head; Scream? No. Pretty Little Liars? No... hmm, Salem? YES!!

I loved Salem, it was so dark but at the same time AMAZING!... and quite sexual.

Realizing I'd need my laptop again, I laid down and grabbed it before setting it on the bed next to me as I laid down, resting on my side. I went on to Netflix and found the show. Clicking on the next episode, I snuggled up to my pillow and began watching...

I bolted upright in bed, pulling myself out of the raunchy dream I was having. Looking around, the bedroom was pitch black. I had fallen asleep watching my show which wasn't surprising. I had a very early morning this morning and had been feeling sleepy throughout the day. I wonder what time it was? Leaning over and pressing my alarm clock, the bright screen hurt my eyes, squinting, I saw it was only 7.45 pm.

Laying back down again, I started thinking about what I had been dreaming about only moments earlier.

'GET OUT!!' I screamed, snapping out of it. He instantly hurried out of the room, closing the door behind himself.

Needless to say, that completely put me off and I got out of bed and headed over to my bathroom to sort myself out.

After having a wash and cleaning up, I pulled on some cosy shorts and an over sized jumper and headed downstairs to get something to eat. I was suddenly starving! But the bigger question was, how was I ever going to face Roman again?!

It wasn't like I could just avoid him! For one, Whenever he was out in the garden, I made a point of ''being around'' just so I could steal a cheeky look at him, and for another reason, he was my dads best friend. Avoiding him was pretty unavoidable...

As I headed down the stairs, I listened carefully in an attempt to hear if he was still here but luckily there wasn't any indication to say he was. The more I thought about it, but more embarrassed I started to feel again.

I just couldn't believe it. What are the chances that anyone would see me, let alone Roman Lewis, Masturbating! God, I just wanted to die.

I tried to push the thoughts out of my head. It was tomorrow's problem, for now, I'm just going to get something to eat, put on a movie, snuggle up on the sofa and just forget that anything at all happened!
