"How is she doing now?" I asked 

"She's of. But still a little week. If you don't mind me asking what really happened?" 

"I do mind. Bring her over. She can't stay there alone in her state" 

"She has been sleeping for ours. After

"Are you sure you gave her exactly what I asked you to" 

"Yeah...I did" he said 

"Whatever. Just bring her over. Don't wake her up. And do that gently. I'm going to send Royse to pick y'all" 

"Ok Sir" he said and I hung up 

After some minutes they arrived. I was waiting for them in the living room. When they came in, I told them to leave her on the couch." Thanks, but I'll take over from here." I said and they left.  

I carried her gently to the guess room. And layer her on the bed gently and she hummed in her sleep. When I was about to leave, I felt a spark in my veins. That same spark again. I turned around and watched her sound asleep..I came closer and touched her head and just like last time something left me to her. But then my eyes felt like a flame of fire. I closed my eyes as my heart pounded in my chest..I felt pain. And immediately I opened it, she was staring at me. I held her hand placed on her stomach and she gave me a confused look and said. 

"what happened to me. And how come I'm at your place" 

"I tortured you and --" I

"I know that part..I meant what happened after that and how come I am here?" she looked back at me with a questioning glare and I said 

"And, you went off. You've been sleeping for like 3hrs..until now. I couldn't leave you there along. So, Blaze brought you here few minutes ago. I need to make sure you're in a good state for tomorrow. welcome back. I was scared I killed you. Since you were so weak." She was about rolling her eyes but, she took it back by looking at me. I just smirked and went to my room.

I got up the next day. With all strengths that I have no idea where it came from. But, when I remember what Adrian did to me, I feel the pain. I just breath heavily and went to the bathroom, took my bath. After which Adrian sent me a very expensive dress. A golden color. I hesitated but couldn't dare to deny. After thinking of what he did to me. I just wore if. While he wore an officially all in black as always... He's always looking attractive no matter what he wears. even though I saw him without an official wear twice. 

When he saw me. He gave me a surprised look and said 

"You look mesmerizing" 

"Thanks. And you too" I said and he looked at me confused. 

We left to the family house. And

I just followed Adrian behind like a puppy and greeted those I know.  

Oh! Yes, I forgot Danny. Danny came closer to us and greeted Adrian saying. 

"Welcome bro. We meet again" Adrian maintained his cold facial expression and said. 

"Yeah we do". he said and we were about to leave when Danny said to me 

"Look at who we have here...hey beautiful. What can a lady like you be doing here all alone?" I gave him a confused look. Does he mean to say, he doesn't see me with Adrian. After which Adrian spoke furiously.. 

"You dare speak like that to my secretary in my presence!!" 

"Chill bro... I didn't know she was. your secretary. How can an Innocent lady like her be working with? The Almighty Adrian. It doesn't look like you at all. You're only going to hurt her" 

"WATCH your tongue before I cut it off. You know absolutely nothing about me. And BACK OFF! If I see you any closer to her. Trust me you'll see the other side of me you never dreamt existed!!" Adrian said and went pulling my hand along
