Alcohol

The basement is quite the view. 

People usually think that it was where the enemy suffer until they die. 

Nope. 

They had another base or cell to keep them. 

Vale doesn't want to live and sleep here if she had to hear their voice screaming in agony when they're being tortured.

She walks up to the bar table and grabs a bottle of alcohol. She opens it and shoves it down her throat with tears sliding down her cheek. 

Again. 

She doesn’t know what she's drinking and she doesn’t want to know.

She grabs another, another, and another until she lost count and slide down the floor. 

Crying and laughing like crazy when she recalled the scenes.

Vale shoves the drink down her throat, not caring that some of it was spilt on her face and clothes. 

The pain she's feeling is Keith’s fault. 

If he didn’t give the job to another woman, she wouldn't have known that Kayden cheated on her.

But, if he didn’t dismiss you, you would never know Kayden cheated on you.

Her conscience speaks.

“Shut up!”

She throws the empty bottle on the wall.

The bottle shattered with a loud voice. 

She stands up and balled her fist walking-swaying-towards the punching bag. 

She doesn’t know how bad her appearances are right now but she also doesn’t care at all.

The vision of Kayden and the woman appear in front of her eyes once more as if mocking her.

Friends holding a party, my ass!!

She hiccuped and laugh before trying to punch the punching bag. Keyword, trying. 

Her energy was drained when she stopped.

Feeling dissatisfied, she walked to one of the chairs, grab it and throw it to the wall angrily. She grabs another chair, broke a table, and a few more furniture in rage.

How dare he cheated on her?! 

He knows she loves him with all her might! 

He knows it! 

He freaking knows it!

The banging sound on the basement door made her laugh. She laughs as much as a mad person would.

How strong is the effect of heartbreak?

They had to cuff her hands and legs if they want her to calm down.

The question is, can they cuff her without getting their lips busted?

Can they open the door and fight her?

Right now, she's pissed, and she wants to let it out.

Vale walks to the bar table and grabbed one random bottle of alcohol. 

The door burst open at the same time she opens the bottle lids.

 She almost poured it down her throat when a muscled hand grabbed her arm and taking the bottle away forcefully from her grip.

Vale struggles to let her hand free and landed a punch at the blurry person. 

Damn! 

What was it that she punched? 

Her hand throbbed in pain at the contact. 

She looks up at the person, but her vision is blurred. She tries squinting, but it's useless.

Damn it! 

Did she just boast about her abilities when she was drunk? 

She can’t even see them!

“Let gooooo of meeeee!-hiccup-Let me scatch yooouuur faaace!”

She heard a few chuckles. 

Worst, she doesn’t know who they are.

Damn, drunk vision.

Vale saw the bottle on the person’s hands. 

Her hand shot up to take it, and her head instantly goes dizzy. 

She tries to open her eyes, but her eyelid is not helping. 

Giving up, she closed her eyes and drifts into the darkness.

Keith runs to the basement with the others. 

They kicked and pounced at the basement door. 

After a while, the door opens leaving a dent on it, and they move inside. 

Keith sighed mentally, thinking about fixing the door.

Vale had just opened the lids of another bottle of vodka when Keith grabbed her arm and take the bottle forcefully from her. 

Vale swings her fist, and it landed on his chest.

“Let gooooo of meeeee!-hiccup-Let me scatch yooouuur faaace!”

The others chuckle, amuse at her drunken behaviour. 

Her cheeks were flushed, her hair in a mess and drenched clothes were sticking on her body. 

They never saw her this drunk before.

Keith looks at the floor which is almost full of vodka and wine bottle. 

Shit! 

The mess she created in the basement is good.

A few chairs and tables shattered on the floor.

Damn, women with their anger issues!

Keith was busy observing the basement when Vale moves to grab the bottle from his hand, causing her to sway and fall.

“Hey! Hey! Hey! Wake up!”

Keith grabbed her shoulder and try to shake her awake, but Vale had already closed her eyes.

Well...

Keith carried her bridal style before turning to his best friends.

“Help me clean the mess,”

His best friends nodded their heads in understanding.

Keith carried her to his room and laid her on his bed.

He removes her boots and her jackets before laying her on her front. He removed her tops and bra as well as her pants and panties before pulling the duvet on her.

It's a good thing that Keith didn’t switch on the light. If he were to see her without clothes, he doesn’t think he can control himself.

He throws her clothes into the dirty clothes basket. 

After that, he went to the bathroom, wet a small towel with warm water and wipes her face softly.

He thought that he should give her space and decided to sleep on the couch. 

Preparing himself to avoid harm from touching her. 

He definitely wouldn't take the risk of her trying to kill him tomorrow.

With a kiss on Vale's forehead, Keith went off to dreamland.
