I headed for my closet and brought out a light grey jumpsuit, putting it on my bed, along with my undies. I headed into the bathroom and did my business, coming out stronger and more energetic.

I don't know what kind of magic water has in it but it always have the power to soothe my body. Especially cold showers. I've always hated using hot or boiled water to bath, I'll go for cold and chilled water anytime, any day.

Putting lotion on my body, I pull on my undies then my jumpsuit. I sat down on my bed as I picked up my wig, the one I wore to school today. I combed my fingers through it before stretching for the brush on the table, beside my bed.  I brushed the wig to my satisfaction before hanging it on the left wall in my room.

Looking around for my phone, I picked up my dirty clothes and put them in the basket beside my closet before heading out of my room.

Abu is on a call while Amara is painting her nails, and making a mess out of it.

"Where's my phone?" I asked Amara.

She pointed at the phone on the chair and I headed for it. I picked it up and sighed on meeting three missed calls, I hate calls, oh Jesus, help me. I thought as I went and plopped down beside Amara before saying.

"Fool, what are you doing?" I threw at amara is I opened my WhatsApp.

"I'm cooking dinner for everyone." She sarcastically replied before adding.

"It's like you're blind, right? I'm painting my fucking toe nails please." She finished and cursed again as the paint stained all around her big toe, the paint looked so ugly and scattered.

"What the fuck are you painting like this? Give me something quick." I told her as I collected the paints from her. She signed as she face my direction more properly.

"Where's your Adner?" I asked.

"It's in your room, I think. We used it in your room last time."

I stood up to go get it, bringing it and using it to clean off all the rubbish she was doing before.

"You just wasted poor nail paint, I'm the only one that can do it properly for you. What would you do without me?" I teased her playfully as I cleaned the paint off.

She rolled her eyes as she said.

"Don't start feeling big, I'll still live without you."

"You wish." I replied, opening the  pink nail paint.

"Wait, wait. Hold up!" Abu cut in. I closed the paint to avoid it from drying off before facing his direction.

"What is it?" I snapped. I hated getting interrupted, good things my friends are so used to my stupid mood swings.

"Calm the fuck down." He started before adding.

"Three of my niggas invited me to get a few drinks, I told them I was bringing two of my girls." He said then continued.

"So, if you two are gonna come, there's not gonna be time for your girly paint. You'll put it on later." He finished.

Yikes, an outing with guys. Hmm, they must be handsome, because I didn't plan to go out tonight.

"So, what time would we be back?" Amara asked.

"Oh, let's say before 12:00am sha." He replied as he tapped away on his phone.

"Come, Abu, as we're going out together, don't leave me alone with your friends. Especially the ugly ones, look, even the cute ones, just stay with us, don't leave us, alright?" I stated.

"Sure, most of them are area boys anyways, I'll stay with the both of you." He replied as he went back to pressing his phone.

"What would I wear now?" Said Amara as she glanced upwards before running her fingers through her hair.

"Wear your undies or even better, your birthday suit." Abu snickered as he kept on texting whom ever it was he was texting.

Amara hit him on the arm before adding.

"I'm not even surprised, you don't have any sense, Abu." Amara replied before kneeling and packing all the different colours of nail paints into the nails bag, she rolled her eyes as she made to stand up.

"Duh, tell me something I don't know abeg. And you're going out with someone that doesn't have sense, sebi? Goat following fowl." He threw back savagely.

I don't know if it's only me that have a bunch of stupid friends who take sweet pleasure in dissing and savaging each other.

My friends are so dumb, very dumb sometimes.

Standing beside my closet, I pulled out a white thigh length gown and my black curly wig, setting them down on the bed I took the bag I wore to school today, that's what I'm gonna be wearing tonight.

Finally dressed, I buckled my slivery sandals and slipped my slivery earrings into my ear. I've always wanted to get another ear piercing but I'm too chicken to do it. One day I'll do it, I thought as I slipped out of my room into Amara's room.

She's dressed in a knee length short and a crop top, her braids arranged on top of her head, the curls falling to her waist and on top of her butt, the front of her hair were small braids just above her eyes with tiny colourless beads attached to each hand of her hair. The hair is hot, I've got to admit but I love my wigs more, plaiting hair is a stress and strain I'll gladly dodge.

I took my perfume out of my bag and sprayed it all over my body, I sprayed and sprayed till Amara cut in.

"Fay! It's ok, God, that's fucking too much."

I rolled my eyes and sprayed the perfume more till I got satisfied.

"You want?" I asked Amara as I gestured to the can of perfume spray in my hand.

"Nah, I will just use my roll on. " She hastily declined.

The Crush's Crusher   Chapter 75

"It's not your fault he died. It's not." I shook my head in denial as I tried to mentally block out all Silas was saying while I tried focusing on my breathing which suddenly ceased for a few seconds due to how hard I was crying. It was a Monday, three days after the session I had with my therapist. Three days after I spoke with Michael. Three days after I finally admitted to my self that I had somehow fallen in love without even realising it.It was supposed to be just a simple hangout where by I'll get to talk with Silas and maybe kiss and do we other stuff for a little bit before I'll finally head home.It wasn't supposed to have a very emotional talk, it wasn't. It was supposed to be just Netflix and popcorn, a make out session hopefully, and a tight cuddle before I’d finally head home in the evening.Somewhere along the line, I found myself in Silas room. This time, I had ventured into hi
