The cold night passed.
A day later, the entire Hevel Residence returned to their usual routine, as if nothing had broken their streak of peaceful days.
The servants though could feel the tense atmosphere that slowly taken over the residence. When Sam reported the revenue of the island and the House from the trade and various investments, the smile that bloomed on Ley's face only stayed for a couple of moments, vanishing promptly after.
