Fainted Again

During the long break, Sasuke and Sakiko went to the library to read. Everywhere was silent and after some time, Sasuke raised his head and touched her hand that was on the table lightly.

"Should we read here every break?" Sasuke asked Sakiko as his eyes roamed about the library.

"No, I suggest after closure, an hour or thirty minutes, then the short break later, we come and revise what we read the previous day or whichever you choose".

"Okay I go with you. After closing an hour, then the next day during the thirty minutes short break. Good idea, let's go and buy something to eat" he suggested.

"Okay" they pack the books and got up to leave.

"Ladies first" he said, gesturing for her to leave first and they both burst into a round of  laughter and quickly left as they were disturbing others.

"Sasuke, do me a favour".

"What is it Sakiko?".

"Try and interact with the boys often and not only me, people would think negatively you know".

"Did you say people would think? Let them think, they have freedom of thought but I don't care what people think about me. It doesn't define me the least. But I would try and interact with the others more. Happy?" He asked her with a smirk on his face.

"Yes I am".

"What would you like to eat?".

"I have my money, I'll buy for myself".

"No, today I'll  buy for you. Come on let's go fast" he pulls her by her hand.

"Hey careful in dragging me along Sasuke".

"What! are you a princess or a queen?".

"Kinda, wait not kinda, I am" they look at each other and start laughing.

"Come on let's hurry princess".

"All right knight" they kept on dramatising as they hurried to get something to eat.

In the Reverend Father's house, Sasuke eats when the Reverend Father enters the house looking exhausted.

"Father, good evening sir. Welcome" he greeted and walked up to him, then the house help comes and took the Reverend Father's bag inside.

"Thank you son. Thanks, Inosuke" he said to the house help as he left.

"Sasuke, I heard from the driver that it is now you are returning. Why? What happened?".

"Yes father, I stayed back in school to read".

"With?"

"With Sakiko. It's our new schedule, we read for one hour after closure".

"The driver said he dropped her off at home first".

"Yes father, because I begged her to stay in school with me to cover up for where she would have to walk. So I asked the driver to please drop her home".

"Okay, that's all right. But she should inform her parents so that they would know she would be coming late home after all".

"Yes sir, she called me earlier in that she had told them and they are fine with it".

"All right then, you can continue eating. I need to go freshen up. I would be in my room in case you need anything".

"What about your dinner sir?".

"Don't worry, have Inosuke bring it up to my room for me".

"Yes Father" with that he left and went upstairs.

Some weeks later, during their literature class, she reads a passage of a novel out loud to the class, but there was a line that wasn't clear in her book, so she moved to show the teacher, all of a sudden she fell down on her way.

"Mrs Hasegawa, it isn't clear in mine".

"Bring it let me have a look" as she moves she fell down, "What?! Sakiko".

Sasuke rushes to her side on the ground and tried helping her up, but she was too weak.

"What is wrong with her?" Mrs Hasegawa asked as she made her way to where they were.

"She is too weak to get up ma".

"What, too weak? She was lively today, oh my...  Sasuke had she had anything to eat today, perhaps during the break?".

"No ma, we didn't buy anything. I asked her but she said she didn't want to eat anything. She wasn't hungry" he carries her in his arms and some girls and boys clap for him.

"Sakiko, please wake up. Don't faint and die on me, it won't be funny" he said in a very low voice to her".

"Ayumi, please go and buy her something to eat and drink. Come and take some money".

"Take Ayumi, ma please don't worry, he sits on a desk and put her on his lap as he reaches for his wallet in his pocket and handed some money over to Ayumi and she left".

Later, Ayumi comes back, "Ma the Student president asked me to go back to class".

"What? Does he know someone is dying?". 

"Yes and he is coming".
