CHAPTER 01

I was in the middle of driving when my mom called. I answered it immediately.

[Anastacia! I miss you baby!] iyon agad ang bungad niya.

[I miss you too mom! Teka wait…] I started my car when cars in front were moving, ugh! Ngayon pa talaga na first day of class! Damn this traffic!

[Let me guess, you’re in the middle of traffic, right?] my mom asked.

[Yeah mom, ugh! Ngayon pa talaga] reklamo ko and started moving my car again. Napatingin ako sa relo ko and 10 minutes nalang, my class will start na! Geez.

[I told you naman na you should get a driver, o di kaya I will send Hermos to be your driver.] she suggested and finally I was out in the traffic.

[No ma, I can handle myself already. Don’t worry ‘bout me.] I answered and drove faster but safely.

[Okay, by the way, don’t forget about Nate’s party.] she said at sakto naming na park ko na sa school parking lot. I saw cars who owned by my bestfriends, their probably inside.

[When is it mom? I forgot.] I asked while getting my things on the backseat of my car.

[Next weekend honey, don’t forget to tell the girls] She reminded me.

[Yes mom, bye mom! Im gonna be late for school] paalam ko sakanya.

[Okay honey, I love you!] I smiled when heard that 'I love you' came from mom, we’re really vocal and it’s sweet.

[I love you mom, see you this weekend!] and with that I ended the call and rushed to get inside our school.

But I thought I was going straight to my room when a soccer ball was thrown in my direction. It accidentally hit me and made the side of my shirt dirty. It was okay for me basta galing ang putik na yun sa soccer.

“Hi! Can you throw that ball here?!” sigaw ng lalaking athlete. But instead of throwing the ball I showed them tricks I know in soccer. It’s my favorite sport, they said I was like my father who loves this sports too.

People around me cheered as I played the ball in my feet, made it roll like this and that and swiftly moving the ball. Until I reached the athletes.

“Wow!” all of them just cheered, nahiya naman ako at napayuko.

“You played it well, miss…” tinignan ako ng isang athlete, I recognized him, his one of the trainees of my dad. Well I know he doesn't know me coz we haven't met yet.

“Anastacia Bonnette.” I offered my hand and he did likewise.

“Grey.” he simple said and smiled. “You’re really good, well actually you slayed it.” he said, nahihiya naman akong tumawa.

“No, not as good as you.” I said and we both chuckled.

“Well if you’re a boy I would definitely get you to join my team.” sabi niya naman, I was touched by what he said.

“Well if only.” I said and chuckled. “by the way, I got to go. I’m late for my class, see you around Grey.” paalam ko and waved my hand pati na rin sa teammates niya.

“See you around.” sabi niya. When I turned nagulat ako sa nakita ko. They were many students looking at us. I immediately rushed to the room.

I saw our adviser walking on her way to our room kaya naman nag dali dali akong pumasok, the girls waved their hands and pointed one of the extra sits beside them. Kaya napaupo ako agad, Safiela handed me a jacket, she probably saw the dirt in my shirt.

After a few minutes, some of the students got inside, most of them are transferees. Kasunod nila si Miss Diaz. Someone sat beside me, he was wearing a simple black shirt and maong pants partnered with blue jacket and black shoes.

He removed his hood and his well fixed black hair shows, ang haba din ng pilik mata niya, his nose is pointed too, even he wasn't facing me I saw his perfectly shaped pink lips. Natinag ako ng kinalabit ako ni Hanna.

“Vaka matunaw gurl.” ang jejemon talaga ng bestfriend kong 'to. I just rolled my eyes at her and he mouthed ‘maldita’.

The teacher started introducing herself, and of course kami rin.

“Pia Alexandria Ramos, 18.”

“Safiela Therese Corpuz,17”

“Grezellle Hanna Irellano, 18.”

“Anastacia Bonnette Corpuz,18”

I sat back when I finished introducing myself. I saw my other seatmate stand up.

“Memorize mo name, tapos add mo sa facebook.” Hanna whispered, nagulat naman ako sa kanya.

“Why would I do that?” I hissed but still kept my voice low.

“Coz you’re not interested.” she smirked, bruha talaga, I just rolled my eyes at her again.

“Ethan Emmanuel Guttierez, 18.” he introduced, kitang kita ko na halos lahat ng babae ay napalingon sa gawi niya. Even his voice sounds so manly and sexy.

Natapos ang klase ng walang ibang ginawa kundi ang mag pakilala lang. When the bell rang, we got up to eat outside. But I was shocked to witnessed what’s going on outside. They were juniors cheering outside our room. When I got out, napatili sila. I even saw banners with my name on it. And even with Grey’s name.

“Aruy sikat na lola mo.” Hanna teased.

“Ano bang ginawa mo kanina?” tanong ni Pia.

“obviously, she just played soccer.” Saf answered it for me at tinuro ang mga banners na may drawing na soccer ball.

“Hi Ate Anastacia!” one of the juniors ay lumapit samin with girls on her back, probably her friends.

“Hi!” I greeted them with a humble smile.

“Pwedeng pa picture ate?” she asked. Tumango tango naman ako.

“Sure sure” sagot ko at pumwesto na sila at pina gitnaan ako.

“Are you and Kuya Grey dating?” sagot ng isa sa mga kasama ng babae. Nagulat naman ako sa tanong niya, and chuckled, maybe they misunderstood our talk kanina ni Grey magsasalita na sana ko ng matamaan ako sa braso that made me turn a bit.

I saw Ethan, sisigawan ko sana siya pero nagtilian na ang mga juniors. Tsk. Ang laki laki ng daan talagang binundol niya ako, gwapo sana wala lang manners. Hmp!
