Chapter 10 I Really Miss You

In the hall, Gracie and Sean were both a little stunned, standing there in a daze, and only reacted a long while later. Gracie was very angry. "Who was that? He's so impolite! Damn it, where's that girl?!"

After saying that, Gracie wanted to find Ginny, but Sean grabbed her.

"Don't. Let's return to our room and be more peaceful!" Sean was a little tired. It was his own niece after all, and Sean's instincts told him that the man just now was not simple, and it would be bad to provoke him. So he wanted to avoid provoking him too much.

Although Gracie was angry, she normally would listen to what Sean said. She was still scolding Ginny as she followed Sean back to their room. Rowena, who had been behind them, remained standing there, a cold look flashing in her eyes. She took out her phone. "Brother Leon, can I bother you to do something for me."

When she heard the voice on the other end of the phone, she chuckled. "I'd feel embarrassed if I did that. I'll treat you guys to a meal later. Mmhm, all right, can you help me investigate someone? I know that you guys are the people with the most ability in City A. It's definitely very easy for you to investigate someone."

When Ginny came out of the storeroom, she was a mess, and she looked very ragged. There were even a lot of wounds on her arms and her body, and her face, which had originally been white, was dirty and looked especially tragic.

She carried the journal in her hands, smiling very happily, but there were tears in her eyes, causing her to look very abnormal.

When Rowena saw how she looked, she was a bit disgusted. "What did you do? What are you holding in your hands?"

Her eyes were sharp, so she managed to see the journal in Ginny's hands. Then, she went up to Ginny and stopped her.

Ever since Second Uncle's whole family passed away, they dumped all of his things into the storeroom, and sometimes, Ginny would go over to play around with the things. But Rowena and the rest did not care because there was nothing worth any money among the items. Anything that was worth even a bit of money had been sold by them.

"It's nothing." Ginny hid the notebook behind her, looking at Rowena with some wariness, as is she was a bit conflicted about her, and there was even a bit of pain in her eyes. "Older sister..."

She suddenly burst into sobs as she said that.

When Rowena heard her voice, her body shuddered, and she felt a little guilty.

"Why..." Ginny moved in front of her and questioned her.

"Why what?" Rowena turned her head, not looking at her. Her tone was very bad.

Looking at her, Ginny instantly understood that it was her. "It was you, you're the one who harmed me. Why did you do it..."

"I didn't!" Rowena continued refusing to admit it.

Ginny did not believe her. "There's no one else here. Sister, in the future, I won't ever believe you again." She understood that after all these years, this older sister of hers seemed to treat her well on the surface, but the truth was, a lot of things that Rowena did were done to hurt her.

Seeing Ginny going to her room, Rowena was a bit angry and went over to grab her arm. "Who is that man?"

Ginny was suddenly pulled to a stop by her and almost fell. She looked at her in a daze. "What man?" However, she very quickly understood that the person she was referring to was probably the man who had sent her back just now.

It was just that she did not know the name of that man either.

"I don't know," Ginny said honestly.

Rowena thought that Ginny had found a backer and was purposely angering her, so she grabbed on to her wrist tightly. "You don't know? Ginny, don't you forget that you're still a member of the Young family. Everything you eat and wear is provided by our family. Without my dad, do you think you could live such a comfortable life?"

Rowena's words caused Ginny to be stunned. It was true; she had been here for so many years, and it was her uncle and auntie who had brought her up. That was why she had kept her grievances and anger to herself. No matter how much she was misunderstood or bullied, she would not talk back to them or argue.

Seeing Ginny's reaction, Rowena curved her lips upward in satisfaction. "You don't want to fall out with our family just because of that man, right? So tell me, who exactly is he?"

"I don't know." Ginny really did not know. But even if she did know, she still would not tell Rowena.

After saying that, she entered her room and closed the door. She leaned against the door, sitting on the floor. Looking at the journal in her hand, she started to cry.

Rowena was extremely angry. She kicked the door and left, full of anger and hatred. "It's all right. Even though Ginny did not say, I'll still be able to find out."

"I've always been able to get everything I want."

Furthermore, Rowena knew that last night, Ginny did not do anything with Leon at all. Thus, whatever was left on Ginny's body was definitely due to that man.

After she thought that, Rowena was really extremely jealous. No matter who Ginny's man was, she would definitely snatch him away from her.

"Dad, Mom, Uncle... I really miss you guys. I really miss you." Ginny hugged the journal, crying furiously.

When they left that year, Ginny became an orphan. Although her uncle and auntie were taking care of her, she did not feel like she was at home with them at all. They treated her like an outsider.

However, Ginny had no way out.
