Chapter 1 Got Plotted Against

"It hurts..."

Ginny Young gasped as if she had been crushed.

She struggled to lift her heavy eyelids, but the harsh light forced her to close her eyes again quickly. The pain in her head was killing her as well.

A faint fragrance lingered in her nose, occasionally gnawing away at her reason.

She raised her hand to rub her head as she struggled to her feet.

She looked down at her body, only to find that her skin was black and blue.

She was petrified with fear, tears streaming down her cheeks. Her little face, too, was as white as a sheet.

"What the hell happened last night?!"

Her mind was constantly bombarded with images of chaos that she could not accept.

"Last night, Rowena sent me a message, and that man...

"I got plotted against!!!"

As Ginny thought of this, her face turned bloodless and her body trembled uncontrollably. She clutched the blanket and wailed.

"Why would Rowena do this to me? Why?

"In the past years, I lived a life of caution and fear in the Young family. I treated Rowena, my sister, with respect, was almost always ready to oblige her, and never provoked her. But why would Rowena do this to me?"

At that moment, hurried footsteps were heard outside. Panicking, she got up and jumped out of bed to get something to wear.

The clothes she had been wearing yesterday were torn apart. Glimpsing a bathrobe lying on the floor, she hastily picked it up and put it on. Just then, the door was pushed open.

Six or seven people stepped in.

"Ginny, you, how could you do this?! You, you're going to piss me off!" The man was 50 years old and wearing a suit. He pointed at Ginny, his face red with anger, and his eyes full of rage.

"Just like your mother, you know nothing but how to hook up with men!" Next to the man, a woman in a red cheongsam spat in disdain, looking at Ginny with disgust in her eyes.

Ginny's eyes turned red in an instant after she heard her. She clutched her bathrobe and bit her lip. There was something stubborn and resentful in the depth of her teary eyes. She was about to yell out that her mother wasn't that kind of person.

Nevertheless, she had no courage to set herself against them. After all, they had raised her for so many years.

"No... It... is... a misunderstanding." Her voice was weak, her tears kept falling, and her body was trembling.

They saw her in such an embarrassing situation.

"Ginny! How, how could you do this?!" A man's incredulous voice sounded all of a sudden.

Ginny's heart trembled with fear as she heard the familiar voice. She looked up and saw the young man's pale face and heart-wrenching expression behind the group.

"No... no..." Ginny was anxious to explain, but nothing came out of her mouth. All she could do was stand there sobbing stupidly, unable to speak.

"Chase, let's go. Ginny may need to be alone." A woman who had been silent suddenly spoke up.

If media reporters were around, they would surely go crazy because this woman was Rowena Young, a popular star who had just made her debut.

"Why should we go?! She has disgraced our family by doing such a thing! Who's that man? No member of our family can swallow an insult like this!" The woman was so furious that she grabbed Ginny's arm.

Ginny shuddered in fear. What had happened last night and the scene in front of her now made her mind go blank. All she could do was shake her head and cry.

"No, no, I didn't do anything wrong. It was Rowena who sent me a message, saying that her clothes were dirty and asking me to bring her clean clothes.

"However, in the end, I was forced to drink two large glasses of wine by the man who was with Rowena. Then I woke up just like this..."

As Rowena met Ginny's gaze, a trace of guilt flickered in her glamorous eyes, but it was fleeting. Then she looked away, not daring to look at Ginny again.
