(MEANWHILE BACK AT SCHOOL DURING LUNCH TIME)
After class I headed towards the school cafeteria for lunch. Seeing my friends already sitting at our usual lunch table with their plates, I quickly got mine and headed towards the table. I put my lunch tray down and sat down in my seat. Quickly digging into my plate to eat.
“Did you do your math homework?” asked Maddie, as she looked at Payton and I.
Lucky for me, I did my homework with Payton yesterday at her house, so I knew I was going to be fine. Math was not Maddie’s best friend, nor was it mine. Payton on the other hand, was a genius at almost everything. We all went to Payton when we needed help. So, when she was looking at Payton and I; I knew the question was meant for Payton. She was the genius of the group, and very pretty as well; with her long dark brown hair and blue eyes.
“Of course, I did,” replied Payton, waiting for Maddie to ask the question she really wanted to ask.
“Can I copy it?” Maddie quickly replied, with a sheepish grin.
“You should really start coming to my house after school with Chasity and I. That way we can all do our homework together,” replied Payton.
“So…yes?” asked Maddie, with another sheepish grin.
Payton sighed, while I chuckled.
“Yes, you can copy my homework,” replied Payton.
She opened up her bag and pulled out her binder that had her homework in it; handed it to Maddie, who quickly, put up her dark brown hair in a ponytail, and started writing down the answers on her own paper after grabbing the sheet from Payton. She quickly started writing the answers down while taking bites of her food here and there. Her dark brown eyes focused on the work in front of her. Even though Maddie may have not been the best at math, she certainly is the best at drawing. She was great at it, and if she wanted to pursue a dream as being a famous artist, I am sure she would make it. That might not happen though, due to the fact that she rather open up a flower shop since she loves flowers and gardening.
“So wha—“ said Payton in a curious tone.
I already knew where this conversation was going, and I am positive that this had something to do with Joe. I did not need to think of what lie to say. I had a great poker face, and was a great liar. It was a bad thing, but then again it was a good thing, for moments like this. Moments like lying to my best friend in order to protect a secret that was not mine to tell.
“If this is about Joe, he asked me to tell my mom,” I pointed my fork to the right, “that his mom told him,” I pointed to the left, “to tell me to tell her,” pointed back to the right “that she could have the weekend off,” I said in a nonchalant tone, calmly eating my food.
It was a great lie, because they knew my mom worked as a house maid for his family. It was a valid answer, that was believable and will make this topic not go further than it should. Joe and I need to find out who is sending these pictures more than who knows about them. Once we find out who is the one sending them, then maybe we can tell our friends the truth.
“How did you feel when you talked to Joe Bandit for the first time?” teased Payton with a grin.
She knew how long I tried to go without talking to Joe. What she did not know, is that today was not the first time Joe and I have talked to each other, last night was; but that is not something I am going to tell her yet. It was nerve wrecking and I felt like vomiting because of how nervous I was, when I spoke to him. It’s a shock to me that I did not stutter, when I did talk.
Thank Goodness, I said to myself in relief.
“I was nervous and felt nauseous,” I replied with a shudder, as I thought of the embarrassment I would have felt, if I really did vomit.
Payton giggled “Talk about an unforgettable first impression.”
Maddie suddenly gave a small laugh, while she copied the answers from Payton’s math paper; making me assume she was partially listening to Payton and I talk about Joe.
“I know,” I groaned “I am seeing him again on purpose later on today, after I leave your house.”
Maddie stopped writing and looked at Me. Both her eyes and Payton’s eyes widened at my comment.
“Why?” this time the question came from Maddie.
I immediately came up with another lie “Well, I am not specifically searching him out. I am going to his house to see the chef. He made more cupcakes for me,” I put on an excited face. I wish it was true, and I am hoping it will be surprisingly true.
“It is so nice that he does that for you,” Maddie groaned. She then sighed and said in a dreamy voice “I wish I had a chef, that always made desserts for me.”
“He is not my chef, he is Joe’s,” I said in an amused voice.
“He could become your chef,” Payton snickered.
I raised my eyebrow, “what do you mean?”
Maddie grinned and went back to copying Payton’s work, while Payton answered my question.
“If you and Joe ever got married th—,” she started to say.
I quickly cut her off “Woahhhhhh. Hold on there.” I than shook my head and scoffed “I wish, but unfortunately I am not his type,” emphasizing on the word ‘wish’ to her.
“What makes you think you are not his type?” Payton’s eyebrows furrowed.
I tilted my head up and said my thought out loud, “I am just not.”
Payton shook her head “You are wrong.”
I raised my eyebrow, “What makes you think that?”
She looked at me, and leaned forward to whisper in my ear, “He has never had a girlfriend.”
I raised my eyebrow and looked at her surprised. Come to think of it…
She was right.

Speak To Me Chapter 32
Chasity Dawson P.O.VI had so much fun with Joe tonight. We talked about almost everything at dinner and then ended up watching the new action movie that came out. It was really good and I had such a great time. I was super bummed that I had a curfew and I wish that we could have spent more time together. When we finally arrived at my house at the end of the night, a small part of me started to get sleepy.“Wait there,” said Joe, when we finally arrived at my house.“Okay,” I replied, nodding and unbuckling my seatbelt. I watched him get out from his seat to come to my side.He opened my door and lifted me up off my seat and onto the ground. When my feet touched the ground, he did not let me go, keeping his hands still on my waist.“Thank you,” I softly replied, not being able to remove my

Chasity Dawson P.O.V“What are you doing all alone?” asked my mother as she spotted me in the theater.I turned around to face her and stood up. Grabbing my backpack and putting the straps over my shoulder.“The boys went out for a run. Joe invited me, but I didn’t want to go with them,” I said with a shrug of my shoulders. “Are you done with work?” I asked her, as I turned off the projector playing the movie on the screen. She had her coat on and purse in her hand, like she always did when she was ready to leave. She nodded, and in a happy tone replied, “They let me go home early today.” She extended her hand toward me to take. I walked to her grabbing her hand and then linked my arms around hers, as we got out of the house. When we got into the car, I sent a quick text to Joe letting him know th

Joe Bandit P.O.VI looked at my father feeling uneasy and replied, “What do you mean when you say that there are some secrets that people will kill to keep a secret? Do you mean that he will go as far as to kill me because I know?”Fear started to fill me, but I pushed it down. I was not a coward and I refuse to let Chasity’s father make me into one.My father shook his head, and paced back and forth, “This man is evil son.” Then as if he was having a flashback of a bad memory, in a hateful tone he added, “He will do whatever he needs to, in order to bend others to his will.”I just watched my father, as he walked back and forth in the study. Running his hands through his hair, as if he was thinking of a solution to a problem.Knock!Knoc

Joe Bandit P.O.V I gave the picture back to her, my hand burning from the picture, as if it is trying to get me to tell her the truth.“I am sure, he would be proud of who are you today,” I said to her, not being able to help myself. She gave me a soft smile and nodded, “I would like to hope so.”I then looked around, trying to think of another topic we could change it to, and noticed that in the collection of DVDs that were stacked in their entertainment; there were a lot of Adam Sandler movies in them. I stood up from the couch and walked to the stack, grabbing out a movie that was one of my favorites.“50 First Dates,” I read out loud, as I chuckled and thought about how much my family and I laughed when we watched this movie.
Speak To Me Chapter 28
Joe Bandit P.O.VAs soon as I found out about the rumors that were spreading, I was not mad about it. In fact, I was totally okay with it. That feeling changed when I realized how it might affect Chasity in a bad way. I was not blind to the attention I received from the girls at school, and I know how catty girls can be. So, I was absolutely sure that they would cause trouble for Chasity because of the jealousy they will feel. When Chasity and I left the school, I did everything I could to try and put the smile back on Chasity’s face. We picked up some fast food to eat for lunch and decided where to go next. We ended up deciding to head on over to Chasity’s house, since her mom was not going to be at home all day, and we did not want to get caught for truancy.“Thank you,” said Chasity, as we headed to her house.“For wh

Chasity Dawson P.O.V I sighed and was massively emotionally exhausted by the time lunch came around. I walked out of my class, stuffed my books into my locker and headed straight to the cafeteria to eat my frustration away. When I walked in, Payton and Maddie were already sitting at our usual table with their lunch plates. I quickly grabbed my lunch plate and sat down on the table, ignoring the stares of the other students.Payton threw a threatening glare and shouted at a group of students staring at us, “What are you looking at!? Keep those big eyes down or I will get up and push it down with my fist.”Their eyes widened with fear, and they quickly looked down at their lunch plate.“How are you holding up?” Maddie asked sympathetically.I covered my face
