Chapter 11: TGIF

Joanna's POV

"Thank GOD it's Friday!" Harmony yelled in a sing song voice literally shattering my ear buds with his horrible voice..

"Dude!, you're totally shattering my ear buds." I scowled while rubbing my ears. 

"What's with you bitch? He questioned. "why are you acting all grumpy this early morning, mother nature still disturbing you?"

"Nah." I shook my head in reply. "It's just lack of sleep".

"Why, did you have hot wild sex last night?" He asked, while wiggling his eyebrows. 

"I don't even know the reason." I shrugged. "And eeew, who the hell on GOD's green earth has sex during their monthly flow".

"Well, since you denied it, place a smile on that pretty ass face of yours and dance with me," He spoke, before swaying his hips left and right.

Shaking my head n smiling I joined him in singing. "Thank GOD its friday, yeah yeah, its friday yeah yeah.

Smiling like goats and swaying our hips while we walked through the school hallway began to draw attention to us..

Tenda who immediately sighted us ran in our direction and joined in the dancing and singing. 

"Hey guys what's cooking," She questioned, seriously shaking her hips and moving her body to the beat Harmony was making with his lips. 

"TGIF!" Harmony yelled, doing a classic twirl which gathered more attention from our fellow students hanging around in the hallway. 

"Yo babes, it's friday!" I yelled back, feeling a bit better already.

"Why are you three swaying your hips and smiling like goats set on fire?" Tony's deep voice questioned as he walked up to us doing the deed. 

"It's friday vibes baby!" Tenda winked at him before swaying her hips in a seductive fashion that had him drooling.

"Get out of my way you goof," Ifeanyi yelled, pushing Tony out of the way and joined us in our dancing madness. 

"Idiots," Blake laughed, shaking his head at our madness and decided to joined us in singing.

"Come on dance with us," I urged Tony and Blake who were standing there staring at us like piles of bricks. 

"I'm singing, I think that's enough," He replied with a smile.

"I ain't doing any of that shit," Tony said while gesturing to Tenda, Harmony and Ifeanyi who were really into it as they kept singing and  dancing to the beat Harmony was producing.

"But for you I will sing." He sighed, before joining Blake in singing, "Thank GOD it's friday!".

Unfortunately for us our little party was cut short by the sound of the bell as it rang, signaling the start of the day's activities.

"Why!" Harmony cried dramatically, staring at God ceiling, to which I shook my head and grabbed his arm while waving to the others and dragged him to class.

Stepping into class we found two empty seats which was kinda fortunate because it was at the back of the class which I loved. 

Class started immediately we took our seats and before I knew it, it was time to pass our homework.

"Shit." I groaned and face palmed, as I realized mine wasn't completed.

"What?" Harmony whispered in my direction.

"I didn't complete my homework," I whispered back. 

"What?" He questioned giving me a shocked look. 

"I said_ I_ didn't_ complete_ my_ homework!" I whisper yelled, emphasising each word.

"I heard that!" He hissed, glaring in my direction.

"Then what?" I asked, glaring back at him, getting slightly irritated.

"I meant what as in you never fail to complete your homework," He said literally using air quotes.

"Well, there's a first time for everything." I shrugged in return.

"Okay, if you say so, but I hope you are ready, because here comes the roaring lion," He said, gesturing to the teacher coming in our direction.

"Alex!" She exclaimed in anger as she glanced through my homework. "Why is your homework not completed?"

"I slept off." I shrugged, not in the mood to beg or find some silly excuse. 

"You had three_ whole_ days to do it and your excuse is you slept off?" She questioned, giving me a hard look with smoke literally coming out of her ears. 

"I've told you exactly what happened, or do you want me to lie?" I smirked, to which she started muttering and growling as am sure she's about to explode in my face but thankfully the bell rang signalling the end of class.

Smiling at her red face I walked out of class with Harmony by my side.

Surviving my other classes with the thought of TGIF at the back of my mind I headed to the cafeteria, where I purchased a sharwama and a bottle of coke before spotting my friends at our usual table already chatting away.

"Hya folks." I waved at them and sat down at the empty seat beside Harmony.

"I was waiting for you," Harmony blurted after I sat down with an excited look. 

"Why?" I questioned confused, already devouring my sharwama.

"Because." He sighed,  "I wanted to be here before I said this".

"Say what?" Ifeanyi asked already bouncing in his seat which had Blake rolling his eyes.

That boy is a five year old in an eighteen year old body, I tell u. I thought shaking my head.

"Jo here," Harmony said giving a dramatic pause while gesturing to me. "Didn't complete her homework for the first time since I know her and not just any homework, her chemistry homework".

"What the--

"Holy shit!"

"Oh my GOD"

"Wow, I wasn't expecting that"

I heard all of them say at the same time with dumbstruck faces except Harmony who was smiling as if he won a Porsche.

"Oh come on!" I chuckled. "You guys don't always complete your homework, some of you don't even do yours like Tony and Blake here so what's the big deal".

"Yeah we know that, but this is about you Jo, you of all people!" Tenda spoke, still in shock. "Mehn I can't believe this".

"Well, like I told Harmony earlier, there's always a first time for everything." I shrugged. 

"That's what she said," Harmony spoke in a sing song voice.

"Idiot," I muttered glaring at him.

"You love me." He winked 

"Unfortunately," I replied with a small smile.

"Well, since its friday, who's up for a party!" Tony announced, giving us all a wide smile. 

"Me!"

"Yeah!"

"Party!"

"Friday!" 

Everyone chorused, except me, who just sat there avoiding eye contact.

"How about you Joanna," Tony asked me with a smile that made my heart beat increase it's rhythm.

"Well," I muttered trying to get away from it without sounding bad. "Don't get me wrong people, I love parties, but I also love chilling at home with junk food and the TV".

"No homework was given today in class which means you are free," Tenda said pleading with me through her eyes.

"And remember you promised." Tony smirked. 

"Ugh, curse my promises" I groaned.

"Fine!, I'll go".

"Woo hoo!" They all yelled, giving each other high-fives as the bell rang again for classes.

School went by really quickly after that, and for the first time in my life, I was sad about it. So here I am, in my room, putting on a black net crop top with high-waist native trousers (colourful African made material tailored into a trouser) and deciding if I should go with my black wedge or black flat sandals. Trust me I ain't against heels or wedges but am sorta tall for a girl, even taller than Ifeanyi, don't act shocked am taller than him for real. This is why sometimes I decide if I should wear heels or not. 

Honk!, Honk!. I heard a car horn which signalled that Tony is here.

"Bye mom!, Bye dad!" I yelled while coming down the stairs, at the same time hurriedly strapping on my black wedge after grabbing my handbag with phone and keys already in it which I prepared earlier for situations like this.

Closing the front door I rushed out and quickly climbed into Tony's car without looking which had me wishing I looked because as I turned to say high my face bumped into his with our lips nearly touching.

"Sorry," I murmured feeling embarrassed and flustered all at once. 

"Its ok, you look hot if I must say," He commented with a smirk.

"Thank you." I smiled, blushing at his compliment.

"No probs," He winked before speeding in the direction of the supposed party which left me alone with my thoughts wandering around.

The way my heart picks up speed when he smiles or looks at me. The way I feel and blush when he says nice thing's could only mean one thing and that is I'm having a crush on Tony freaking Ryan.

Oh GOD save me!. I thought groaning internally.

But this can't be love, or could it? Nah its just a crush and I have a feeling Tenda is crushing too and it seems like he is slightly into her but I can't be so sure because he acts the same way towards me.

Why Lord why. Why does it have to happen that when I finally get a crush it has to be a freaking love triangl--

"We are here," Tony spoke, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I looked around and saw what looked exactly like any high school party as I spotted some teenagers whom I can't recognize from such a distance hanging around with red cups, some smoking, others just drinking and leaning on the wall of two storied cherry red building which I'm sure that's where the party is taking place because of the loud noise reverberating from it. 

I noticed our friends hanging around too after stepping out of the car which had me waving to gain their attention as Tony locked the car. 

"Damn babe you look hot!" Tenda spoke as she noticed my outfit before pulling me in for a hug.

"But you look stunning," I said taking in her funnel hand blouse with a tight fitting skirt and black stiletto's.

"Wow butch, you on fire, ama fuck you right here right now," Tony blurted as he too took in her outfit, practically drooling and giving her the fuck me eyes that sent a light pain through my chest which I covered with a chuckle and an eyeroll. 

"Looking good bestfriend." Harmony whistled before giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"I could probably do you right now," Ifeanyi spoke, earning him a shut up and a smack on the head from Blake.

"I was joking!" He whined with a pout 

"I know," I said ruffling his hair at the same time Blake scoffed. 

"Not the hair!" He smacked my hand away before patting it to make sure it was still intact. "I just locked the strands an hour ago meaning it's still fresh and hasn't dried completely".

"Shut up y'all let's all go in and have fun, not standing outside here like a bunch of loosers," Blake yelled practically shoving us all into the crowded building.

Entering into the house, both Ifeanyi and Harmony left us muttering something about getting laid while Tenda, Blake, Tony and I headed to the bar to grab some drinks and fried meat. 

Grabbing two bottles of beer and some fried meat, I sarvoured the sweet taste of the well fried seasoned meat before downing the bottles of beer into my system. Don't get me wrong I'm not a drunk but I like to unwind and have some fun, hence it's a party so am allowed to have fun. 

"Woah, easy there tiger," Blake said smiling at me.

"I came to have fun and fun I will have," I belched, feeling the drink starting to work as I was almost done with one bottle..

"But not too much fun, you might get drunk and do something drastic," Tony growled, glaring at me.

"Dude stop PMSing, besides I don't get drunk easily," I replied with a sly smile as Tenda just sat there chuckling and Blake stood up, saying something about going to dance.

"Damn!" I heard Tenda exclaim, her eyes focused ahead.

"What?" I questioned, my eyes following the direction of where she was looking at something or someone..

"Him!" She said pointing at someone.

"Damn!" I moaned, yes I literally did when I saw who she was pointing at.

I couldn't see his face clearly from where I was standing and the dim lighting of this party didn't help either but from what I could see, I could tell he was tall as in really tall, probably 6.5ft with wide shoulders and dreaded hair. He looked bored as he kept glancing around unseeingly and I can tell his mind was somewhere else, not at this party. 

Turning my head around to tell Tenda something, I was shocked to see her walking away with Tony by her side.

"Well I guess I'm alone for the night," I mumbled feeling a pang of pain as I was left all alone. 

Shrugging my shoulders n downing the rest of my drink, I decided to go meet Mr hotstuff, that's what I'm calling him till I know his name.  Original I know

"Hey there," I waved when I got to him, and may I say Damn again. This dude is really fire. I never thought I would see someone as hot as Tony but boy was I wrong, here was someone who would easily put a billion Tonys to shame and that is putting it mildly.

This upclose the dude was fair skinned with pink lips and dark eyes, really deep dark eyes that looked like oceans of black water where you could freeze and drown in their depths.  From the distance before I could tell he had broad shoulders, staring at him now, I noticed the shoulders came with a tight six packs which was slightly visible from the way he was seating on the stool that had his love V-neck shirt clinging to his skin.  His face was well sculptured with high cheekbones and a very hot sharp jaw. He was damn hot with a capital "H".

"Go away, I ain't interested," He spoke in his deep voice not even looking at me and boy was his voice real deep and sexy that it sent my skin vibrating as tingles ran down my spine. 

"You won't even look at me," I spoke faking a pout. That got his attention as he stiffened and slowly looked up. His eyes met mine and I suddenly got lost in its depths. 

"Well hello there baby," He said, a smile automatically appearing on his beautiful face and damn that 

smile. It had a familiarity to it, a familiarity I couldn't place in my slightly drunken state.

"Hey there handsome," I smirked, with a raised eyebrow.

"I'm fine now that you're here." He winked, which had my heart doing a backflip.

"Wanna dance?" I asked as  Suh Different by Patoranking started playing..

"Gladly," He whispered in my ear, dragging me to the dance floor..

Turning my back to him, I placed his hand on my hips immediately we got to the dance floor and started grinding my hips on his groin.

"Fuck!" I heard him whisper in my ear gripping my waist tight.

Taking that as encouragement, I started moved my waist up and down, slowly in a seductive manner as I felt him getting hard. 

"Fuck, right there baby," He said kissing my neck.

With a smirk, I slowly dragged him to an empty seat and sat on his lap, with my back to him I lowered myself to the extent where my ass was right above his groin and started twerking my ass, feeling him get riled up as I started getting turned on.

"Ok that's it, fuck!" He groaned, gripping my waist tight and quickly turningme around with a strength and speed I haven't seen before.

He looked deep into my eyes and pulled my lips down to his.

Fireworks, literal fireworks is what I saw, feeling electric current pass through me. Groaning I bit his lower lip to grant my tongue entrance into his mouth.

"Damn!" He growled against my lips as his hands slipped from my neck to my back and gripped my ass hard which had me groaning as he bit my lip hard. I played with the dreadlocks on his hair as he kept kissing his way down to my neck, trailing to my chest, and moaned as he sucked on the sensitive skin. I never thought I could get turned on this fast. I've never felt like this with anyone and am no virgin. 

Slowly, He pulled his lips away from mine and whispered in my hair. "wow, I could really do that all night long". 

I blushed, placing my head in the crook of his neck..

"You actually made this party turn from bored to hot in a few minutes," He spoke pulling my face up to look at him.

I just sat there smiling at him, Damn!! why couldn't I see his face clearly So I can recognize him If we bump into each other somewhere else..

"Where are your friends babe, cus its really getting late," He spoke, giving me that heart dropping smile that could make a girl shed her undies right there and then.

Glancing around, I couldn't see any of them. Shrugging I said "I didn't know".

"Then let's get you home," He said, actually making me realize how tired I was. Its been long I partied this hard and had so much fun, so it took a toll on me. 

Following him to his cool G-wagon I slumped into his passenger seat and was off like a light.
