Aiden's POV

Headache! Aghh! Not again.

Grumbling this I opened my eyes and reclined at the wall clutching my head which was paining. It was nonentity for me but today I didn't expect my daybreak to begin with this as yesterday neither I drank much nor remained half nigh awake for completing my workload. Yeah, I might be successful and count as the richest businessman in the country also in the top 5 in the world but along these responsibilities to come, first, to maintain your position and second keep going up also I prefer to do my work on my own not leave it for employees, it's not like I don't trust their capabilities but I love perfection that's why yesterday too I myself went to attend the meeting as this project is going to make me reach that place from where no can make me fall.

From yesterday's events, I also reminisced about Ms Problematic fainting and me doing nanny for her and after it, I sat for drinking wine but then something happened yes recalled I felt like something tingling over my hand which halted me.

"What?" I angrily said reckoning that Ms Problematic stopped me but soon lifted my cranium when I didn't get her reply and thought to repeat my word but to my astonishment, there was no one but a mere hallucination.

Yeah, an illusion, as per physician who said it's all because of my hectic schedule but the truth is something else, it is because of that Nova, my ex-girlfriend, and I am confident at that I have imagined her stopping me from savouring wine and trying to seduce me but let's not think about her for a while as I am already trying to preoccupy myself from some bitter memories of my mother, thinking this I stood and moved towards the gallery sipping wine and looked outside, but soon came back as nothing was there which I could enjoy even for some seconds well I shouldn't have even expected anything from this place but glad at least room is liveable. I again sat and sipped my drink reading files which were occupying the table and signing them then keeping those in the bag.

Once I completed all the stuff, I yawned and went towards the bed which was big enough for two people but I remained like a sculpture in thoughts of what I should do as I am not habituated to sharing a bed with anyone. Also, I can't make myself lay on a recliner or even can't get another room because of my instincts which are yelling don't do another stupidity else crises will come.

Believing all this I laid at the bed as rather than welcoming something new for me let comprise for once and embarked to think about today's events, how much it was well planned in the morning but when I met Ms Problematic, only crises were coming. I extremely hope that hereafter, I don't need to discern her anymore and then I drifted in my usual thoughts about how I am going to abolish the plans of my stepfamily who wants to rule over my conglomerate and for this they always muster some strength but as usual, they are going to fall over.

Don't know when slumbering took upon me but it got broken by some hand which came over my torso and head which snuggled at my chest and an aroma which I inhaled.

"I am exhausted," this voice went in my ear which iced me for some moments to think of anything else but I came to sense because of she rigid her grip.

"Ms Gray?" I annoyingly said but this girl didn't budge from me and snuggled more like I am her favourite teddy in which she will keep nuzzling.

I heaved a sigh of despair and jerked her hand, she tossed and warped her hand around the cushions murmuring indistinct words.

"Is she some Cinderella? And imagining me as her Prince who will salvage her from her misfortunes? That's why she came before my car? And hanging in my neck?" I growled angrily and turned another side also shifted to some distance, no I am not going to feel any kind of pity and then give my shoulder to whine as I well know how people take advantage of it, and my stepfather is a tremendous criterion of this.

"Enough of introspection," mumbling it, I disembarked and took my mobile for checking that Mr Baker called me or not and for my shock there were 10 miscalls from him and some messages which I ignored and called him back.

"Where is the car?" I directly inquired without beating any bushes.

"It will take half an hour, sir," Mr Baker replied in his professional tone.

"Then why so many calls?" I asked gritting my teeth as I was expecting him, waiting for me outside.

"Sorry sir but I thought to inform you that I found a mechanic and it will take a while so you don't get to wait," I clasped my fingers listening to Mr Baker's reply as it fritted me.

"Nowadays you are thinking so much," saying it, I cut the call without giving him any chance of reaction and ordered green tea for me so anyhow I could pass time here also my headache can abate but even when 15 minutes passed but still no one came, I furiously donned my suit and bossed outside then only I recall Ms Gray wasn't present in the room.

"Ms Problematic must have fainted again," I grinned at my own thoughts and continued to ambling but stopped seeing Ms Gray coming towards me with a furious face and something she was rumbling.

"Don't you have eyes?" She yelled at me as her head hit my body, first of all, no one talked to me like this and the second mistake was her as she was walking like an intoxicated person who was in her world, mumbling and frowning because they didn't get their favourite tequila.

"Did I listen correctly, Ms Gray? As I was completely in my sense but you don't seem. Are you on a medicine effect or still feeling like you fall on the ground?" I passed her taunt arching my brows and curling lips in a smirk and expected her to react like night all timid.

"No, I thought," with reluctance, she endeavoured to say which gave me the vanquisher feeling but at all sudden she stopped saying that and averted to something different along with her topic her tone too changed.

"Look, I am sorry, I shouldn't have yelled at you when I made a mistake but shall we go inside and talk about something which is important at this moment," with apology tone it also had the courage like she is not going to stand on my prior image which I had in my mind and because of this I nodded strode ahead, she followed me surprisingly

Once we reached the room, without waiting for her words, I impatiently asked, "when is she going from here?" Listening to it she was completely taken aback and went in some kind of thoughts perhaps anathematize me? Who cares for this.
