Part- 1

Ariana's POV 

I remember after leaving the house and dragging my body in the forest and scaring even when a leaf used to fall on me imagining that as some snake and getting freaked out when bushes were touching my skin thinking them some animal, I reached the highway.

Sighing and wiping my sweat, I adjusted my heavy backpack and smiled extending the hands and looked at the sky. I know my new journey is going to be difficult but I am ready to fight as it will be worth it. I was walking only and praying that some car or even truck should come on this road so I could at least reach away from this area but it seems I am not going to get what I want.

Yes again a comma entered and snatched my smile, and fear engulfed in my heart. A group of men was on the road and as soon as they saw me, they peered at their mobile and then looked at me scanning from top to bottom and nodded affirmatively showing thumb to each other. They came down from the motorcycles and moved towards me.

Seeing them, I turned and started to run and when I looked behind I found that they were chasing me. I don't know who they are and why they are chasing me, like seriously I had less of a problem, that they too came as a cherry on the cake.

I need to run fast else they will catch me, then God only knows what they will do to me. So I speed up fast thinking all that but I surmise it is of no use as I can hear their footsteps coming closer to me and their indistinct voice too became clear.

"Stop running, it is of no use," that was the voice which came from behind but am I mad to concede with him? Nay, I prefer to save myself.

"Catch her, else Joseph will kill us." 

Oh, freaking god, I should have guessed who can be a despicable person except for my cousin Joseph. First I was running because of marriage but now I guess I need to run for saving my dignity from him. Joseph is my cousin, but he never reckoned me like that, for him, I am a pleasurable girl whom he wants on his bed.

With the voices of those men, I heard the car's horn. I believe I can be saved from them, well hardly on this road any car comes but today I guess I got lucky. I need to ask the lift from the owner and hope my luck persists with me.

I was about to stand in the middle of the road to stop the car but seeing goons close to me I stumbled and approximately clashed with the car, what the hell happened? While thinking it I fell on the road but startled because of someone's voice.

"I am sorry, mam for hitting you. Are you alright?"

I lifted my neck only finding a mid-50-year-old man looking at me apologetically, I shook in negative blowing air over my elbow as some scratches came and blood too.

"Please help me," I said to him, and turned my head back but to my amazement, no one was there who was chasing me a few seconds ago, I guess they must have been hiding somewhere near.

"What the hell?" Someone screamed from the car, I looked at the driver whose expression was tautened.

"Sir, a girl got in an accident with our car," the driver said facing his back to me. I felt bad as it wasn't his mistake but I deliberately came in front of the car but chose to keep it as secret at this moment as they are my last hope.

"She needs help," the driver's hesitation voice collapsed my hope, maybe his boss is not helping the person. I sighed thinking of another ruthless monster.

But before I could listen to further or personally talk to his boss, I found myself feeling dizzy, my eyes were becoming heavy and my body was going numb.

I don't know what they're talking about and soon the driver turned towards me and bowed his head saying something, but I am not in a position to listen to anything, my eyes finally closed and the last thing I felt was my head hitting the surface.

Aiden's POV

After winning the deal, I headed out and sat in the car looking at the magazine, my lip curled in smirk seeing the magazine cover, which was my photo. It was nothing new but this time it was something else as this business magazine used to feature my rival from the past 10 years but this time me, and this is only the beginning. I am surely going to rule, just wait and watch. I kept the magazine and looked outside, it was almost evening, I recalled I have to sign a file. I took out the file from the briefcase and started going through it, it was a contract paper. 

I was in my world only but came to sense when the car stopped with a jerk, Mr Baker looked at me mouthing sorry and rushed out of the car.

I looked at the watch which was showing past eight-fifteen, annoyingly I went outside yelling, "what the hell?"

Mr Baker turned to me saying, "a girl got in an accident and needs help."

I chuckled saying, "same tactics" yes it is not the first time someone willfully jumped in front of my car and asked for some help and then tried to seduce me. I hate such people who try to pull such stunts.

"No need, let go," I said, turning my head and moving a little.

"Mam, sorry but sir denied. You wait here I will send some taxi," Mr Baker said, I shook my head thinking Mr Baker is such a fool who comes in other's ploys. 

"Mr Baker, I guess you really want to get fired," I said looking at my watch. Mr baker looked at me then again he turned to that girl.

"Mr Baker," I yelled at him which caused him to shiver.

"Sir, the girl fainted," I laughed listening to this and crouched before that dramatic girl.

"Hey, stop this drama. Act somewhere else or I will roll my car at you," I curtly said and patted her cheeks but for my surprise, she not only really fainted but also she had a high fever.

I stood and moved towards my car and was about to sit but stopped at my place to say, "put that girl in the backseat."

"What? Do you want us to remain here? And wait for Ms Problematic getting conscious, so she can sue me?" I sarcastically said seeing Mr Baker frozen at his spot.

Mr Baker bounced his neck and picked Ms problematic and came towards me, I gave him a look as he again stood and staring at me.

"Sir, door," he meekly said, I chuckled and opened the door thinking Woah what a day, me the great CEO who is known for torching others is opening the door for someone.

After making that girl laid at the seat, Mr baker sat at his driver seat but I remained outside thinking where I should sit? I don't like to sit in the front seat. I also hate sharing a seat with someone. After fighting for some time with myself, I opened the passenger seat door and sat there. 

Mr Baker drove the car while I adjusted to the seat and looked at that girl whose face was covered with hair.

I was leaning at the back seat and thinking about my tomorrow schedule but again I jerked away from my thoughts and the car stopped, my hand automatically went towards that girl and saved her who was going to fall and looked at the Mr Baker whose face became pale.

"Sir, car stopped," Mr Baker said meekly, I sneered listening to it and said, "you are testing my patience, go and check what transpired?"

Mr Baker rushed out of the car and after a few minutes he came and knocked at the window, I opened it and waited for him to speak something but it seems the cat caught his tongue.

"What is wrong?" I asked.

"Sir, the engine is damaged. We need mechanics but this is a remote area so you can't get anyone easily," oh! I got why Mr Baker wasn't speaking anything. 

I blew air and loosened my tie and removed the watch and leaned back saying, "look for a motel."

I am not in the mood to stay in the car for the whole night and that too with Ms problematic. I swear once she gets conscious I am going to throw her as since I met her, everything is going out of control.

Mr Baker went from there and I blinked my eyes looking at her whose lips shivered, and she mumbled something. I was going to ignore her, but she clutched my hand and sobbed muttering, "Aunt, Uncle, trust me."

I found myself getting uncomfortable after listening to her muttering, and recalled something which caused me breathing unevenly.

"Sir there is a motel after some distance, you can go there. I will be here with this car and tomorrow pick you," Mr Baker's voice brought me back, I gazed at him and came out.

I was about to walk away but recalled that girl after seeing my sleeves were wet, her tears must have fallen on it. I sighed and turned but found Mr Baker frowning looking at that girl. I shook my head, clearing my throat to seek his attention.

"Yes, sir do you need anything?" Mr Baker asked from me bowing his head, I didn't say anything to him just moved ahead and opened the door and took that girl in my arms.

"Come as soon as the car gets repaired," I said walking away. I could see Mr Baker's eyes popping out, but he didn't dare to ask anything from me that's why he has been with me since I started my business as he knows what I dislike most. I guess if someone else would have been instead of him then either left the job on his own or worst I would have fired him.

I looked at the motel which wasn't ravishing as I prefer but at this time I need to compromise. I went inside and looked at the manager who was on the call and I rolled my eyes at my surroundings, everything was quiet there.

"Welcome, sir! What type of room do you need?" The manager asked.

"Whichever is best for your motel," I arrogantly said, showing my richness. Surely I love exhibiting my money and rudeness but this time it was for a different reason. 

"Sure sir," the manager said, giving his professional smile but I could see his face which had a drain.

"Sir, keys," that manager said coming sometime.

"Where is another key?" I asked looking at him who has only one key, listening to my question he moved back confusingly.

"Leave it, and come with me," I said and walked with him. First, I thought of leaving this girl in some room and me in another but that didn't sound like a good idea to me.

Manager moved ahead of me, and opened the door for me, and extended his hand saying, "do you need anything else, sir?"

"Call the doctor and room service," I said, going inside and keeping that girl at the bed and looking around the room. It wasn't good but also not a bad place to spend a night.

"Sure sir and anything else you need?" The manager left from there seeing me nodding my head in negative.

I kept my mobile in charge and looked at that girl who was still unconscious. What luck she bought today, well my mistake, who came in Mr Baker trap and thought to help her.

I should take a bath, so I could cool down and think about her later on what I have to do with her.
