10. Where is my p***e?
Author: SuperovkataAlexandra
I went directly into Clarissa's room, without trying to be quiet. I was sure she was still sleeping. Good, let her feel my rage. Why did she always have to interfere?
My suspicions proved correct; she wasn't awake yet. One of her hands was lifted above her head on the pillow, while she was on her back. She had her cute tiny sleeping dress on which I could easily see because her sheets were covering only her tummy.
Next to her, unsurprisingly, was Ethan. He was shirtless for sure. He was making some small snoring noises, while lying on his stomach, hugging his pillow. All of his back was naked and I would have been impressed by his wide shoulders if I wasn't so angry. They did not hear me coming.
"Clarissa!" I yelled, causing both of them to jump up and turn to me with their mouths open. "Clarissa, how could you? Why did you... seriously? Writing to him from my phone? Pretending it was me..." I gasped for air, suffocated by my rage.
As the realization of last night's events hit her sleepy head, she said with a raspy voice "I had to. You were moping too much."
"What is that supposed to mean? No, never mind. Why didn't you just dance and ignore me?" I yelled.
"Because of that poor guy." She said, wiping the sleep from her face with her palms.
"What guy?" I asked.
"That rock band singer," Ethan said.
"What about him?" I ask, annoyed that Ethan was taking part in this.
"You were rude. He was so nice and really hot." Clarissa explained and looked a bit embarrassed at the man in her bed. "Sorry, Ethan. No offense."
"None taken. I guess he was cool." He looked back at the blond next to him.
I glanced between both of them, they were smiling at each other. Their calmness made me even angrier. It was as if they thought that I was going crazy for no reason.
"Ethan, tell me that at least you don't have anything to do with this." I stared at him, question in my voice.
"Well..." He started with an apologetic look.
"Great!" I rolled my eyes and started pacing in front of their bed… Clarissa's bed.
"No, it's not like we planned this together or something. I just knew what she would do." He tried to defend himself.
"And even for a second, the thought that you could stop her didn't cross your mind?" I stared again in him, knowing that he wasn't the one to blame.
"Alex, look I am sorry. I could say it was the alcohol, but really I think I would’ve done it if I was sober too. It was time for someone to do something." Clarissa explained while getting up.
Nothing could be undone now and maybe it wasn't all that bad... the result of it, I mean. Clarissa was like that. I couldn’t change her. My hangover was pressing for me to stop this fight for now.
"What's done is done!" I said, acceptance in my calmer voice. "Where is my phone?"
"I left it in your room, but I guess you haven't been there yet." She grinned at me with evil eyes.
"Don't start that again!" I warned her.
"Oh, come on! You know you will tell me everything later."
"Baby, maybe you should let her calm a bit for now, huh?" Ethan gently said to my cousin.
"Oh, 'baby' already?" I teased them.
"Shut up!" Clarissa said and tossed her pillow at the door as I walked out of there, smirking.
I went to my room and grabbed my mobile from the table. I fast went to read the messages that she had sent to Michael. My anger resurfaced as I read them.
"Would you finally come over here? I am waiting for you."
What the hell was Clarissa thinking?!
"If you care for me - you will come fast!"
No wonder Michael was so confused last night.
I tossed my phone on the couch and went to the kitchen to make myself a coffee. This hangover was the last I needed right now. I had to think straight and calculate the damage on my work-lust relationship with my boss. Memories of him coming outside the bar and us arguing and then his hand on my waist and the car came in foggy waves. His small apartment and how hard was it was for me to fall asleep, then the pancakes. It all started to clear up the more I thought about it while I was sitting on the small kitchen table, holding a hot mug of black coffee.
Clarissa's voice came from the hall and seconds later she and Ethan entered the room.
"Mmm, the amazing smell of coffee after an amazing night with an amazing guy," she said, looking as happy as she can be and went to get herself a cup. "You want some?" She asked Ethan. He nodded, smiling back at her.
"Good to see you both dressed." I teased them.
"Oh, come on! We are not twelve anymore. If we were... then we were very naughty kids in the past 13-ish hours." Clarissa returned my joke.
"I am glad we are not twelve anymore. It was fun, but not as much as it can be now." Ethan said, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Yeah, what is more fun than messing with people's phones?" I said and both of them stared at me, so I childishly stick my tongue out to them.
We all laughed and I felt relieved that there weren't any bad feelings between us after all. Yes, she did something bad, but in the end, it might have helped clear things out with Michael. She did it because she cared for me. I couldn't stay mad at her for too long, I loved her.
"So what are you, guys, up to for the rest of the weekend?" Ethan sipped from his mug.
"Nothing much," I said, watching how a stray cat was walking on the lawn outside the window.
"We can go to the bar again." Clarissa offered.
"O, no way! I am still hung over." I refused.
"Where did you disappear last night, anyway?" The blond angel, Clarissa, asked me.
"Not telling you." I grinned at her.
"Ooow, there is something juicy, I can feel it!" She teased me and put her face in her palms as she leaned to place her elbows on the table. "Do tell!"
"Nope, not gonna happen!" I shook my head.
"Okay, so can I offer something? Alex, you can thank me later for saving you." He winked at me, knowing that Clarissa will see it. "My aunt gave me this house here, but she also inherited the cabin near the lake. Have you, guys, been there?"
Clarissa and I looked at each other, puzzled, then shook our heads and said together "No."
"Then let's go there for the weekend. The lake is just outside the town. We can pack and go there for a night. Some sun, fresh air and clean water will be fun. What do you say?" He sold the idea to us.
"No way... that we aren't going!" Clarissa joked and jumped from her place, excited. "I will pack my new bathing suit. Time to try it!"
"Alex, are you coming?" Ethan showed his perfect white teeth.
"I guess it will be nice to rest a bit in nature," I answered, feeling the need to call my boss and drag him with us.
"That's so cool! Let's finish this coffee, guys. We have packing to do!" The angel ordered.
"Yeah, not that much packing. It's only a day, Clarissa." I reminded her.

Secret desire 25. A big step with me
“Mason, please don’t!” Bethany pleaded and her lawyer had to convince her to stay calm and silent.“With whom were you talking on the phone, Mr. Scott?” Our guy asked the witness.“Stephan. Bethany’s ex. They broke up because she was having some… mental problems. He convinced her to start going to a specialist.”The room filled with gasps and rustling by the surprising news. But what would make her brother say something that would make her look bad in court?“What mental problems did Miss Scott have?” The mustache man pressed, but answers were coming swiftly, impatiently waiting to roll out of Mason’s mouth.“She was… She is feeling insecure and is constantly seeking the attention of an important man. Like a popular man in town or an attractive man who is wanted by many, and she has the need to prove something to herself by winning the
Secret desire 24. The bonfire
This small town was growing on me. The winding streets, the sweet two-floor houses, hiding in lush trees, and the cute shops were part of its charm. The idea of Michael living here, peacefully, surrounded by true friends was warming my heart. He had to win his case, he was not guilty - just different. Then maybe I would consider again the course of my future, including this tiny city and its amazing bonfire tradition. We arrived in the town gathering and it was already dark outside. Hundreds of people were paired in groups, talking and drinking while standing near the fire on wooden benches, brought for the event. Tall wood was wrapped tightly in the clearing far from the last houses. It burned with an intense flame while illuminating with power - it was hard to look at it. The wood had changed its color to golden-orange scorching lava.On its right was a freshly moaned loan, where a cowboy was enriching the air with a cheerful country song. Young girls with lo
Secret desire 23. Answer the question
A chubby man wearing a long black robe, who looked to be around fifty years of age, came to take the important seat behind the large desk. My palms were sweating and my legs began to shake, reflexively I pressed them together. I took a deep breath. In and out. Then did it again. I was so nervous, I couldn't concentrate on what was going on in front of me.The lawyers were conversing with the judge, then each of them had their turn to speak in front of the people gathered. The defense counsel went first, arguing that Michael had taken advantage of Bethany on the night of the party. Stylishly dressed in black, a woman in her mid-thirties with a golden ponytail was speaking on behalf of the so-called victim.I was repulsed by the skank. She was stan
Secret desire 22. Show me
I talked on the phone with my mother before I went to sleep. It was late, but she called me to tell me that she found a job that was paying better. The thing was that she only had night shifts and today was her first day."I will be available for our chats like before, but you can always call me even in the middle of the night," her voice said through my phone."I am considering another job too," I announced, knowing how thrilled she would be that I had finally woken up from my slumber."That's amazing, dear! What will it be? Something with your education?" she asked with excitement."That's the plan. I applied to some places. Time will tell," I answered and my eyes stopped on the breathtaking body of the man I loved when Michael walked into the room with a towel around his pelvis. "I have to go, mom, it's late." I swallowed, removing the phone from my ear, hypnotized by his slightly pink skin, after the shower. My mot
Secret desire 21. The answer to my questions
I watched in slow-motion as the disgraceful young woman made a few unstable steps towards us, her hateful eyes never leaving Michael, and then she raised her hand in an attempt to slap him. With ease, he dodged her sloppy move by coming closer to me, gently pushing me, so I could take a step aside. The drunken blonde, who I assumed might have been a friend of the liar who wanted to sue Michael, or Bethany herself, stumbled and almost fell to the ground but the bearded man grabbed her by her arms, keeping her steady."Michael," he said in a way of greeting while helping the girl stand on her feet."Mason," my guy nodded in response."I think it's better if you and your sister go now," the cheerful man said to Mason and the skank hanging on his arms, who was still cursing and trying to keep her balance. "Hi, man.""Hi, Oliver." Michael returned to the cowboy."Oh, what is that official behavior?" The cheery man asked, coming closer to us. "Give your
Secret desire 20. Look who's here
My soul was hurting, seeing the torture Michael was in. This wasn't something that criminals felt, right? He was suffering from what people thought of him. He had a conscience. If Michael was a bad person or liked to hurt others, he would not regret his actions, right? Plus - he said that she must have liked whatever he was doing."I am not someone who will force himself on a woman, " he continued, his hand holding the wheel so hard - the knuckles of his fingers turned white. "She lied to everyone. It's who she is. She had her fun with me and the next day, I go out and folks were staring at me. Whispering... you know?" He turned his glassy eyes to give me a lo
