Taking the notebook closer to herself, she solved the question and passed it to Gu Shen while explaining, "For the first year he will earn 14 dollars, making the principal amount as 114 dollars for the second year. similarly, in the second year, he will earn 15.96, increasing the principal amount to 129.96 dollars. This way at the end of the fifth year total amount which he will get back is 192.5 dollars and the total interest he earns will be 92$."

Looking at the notebook which had the question solved Gu Shen smiled gently making Tian Tian's heart flutter. Unaware of why she felt proud Tian Tian simply blushed while Gu Shen kept looking at the book.

"Impressive, indeed you know the basics very well. Let's solve a couple of more questions and then we will call it a day." Saying Gu Shen started to write another set of questions in the notebook while she kept looking at him.

Even though they were meeting for the third time, it was right now that Tian Tian got to see him closely. He had a perfectly shaped Jawline, Shiny smooth hair, deep blue eyes which had the potential to suck in the soul inside them, his voice, it was soft and mellow, pleasant to listen.

Passing on the book to her Gu Shen asked her to solve the next questions while he kept looking at her thinking, 'Who would have thought, I would cross paths with the Queen on the first day itself. Now I understand why you decided to lay low, hide your talent. Even your sharp tongue, your anger, everything matches to the position you hold. Except your... appearance.' Shaking his head lightly while trying to keep his lips from smiling, Gu Shen started looking at Tian Tian.

Quickly finishing the sums she was about to give the notebook to Gu Shen when her cell phone rang.

Looking at the time Tian Tian wondered, 'Who would call me at this time?'

Picking up her cell phone, she looked at the called Id and her expression changed.

"I need to pick this call, excuse me." Saying she got up and went towards the balcony.

"What happened?" Asked Tian Tian

As soon as she heard what assistant Zhang had said her whole expression changed. The warmth that she had completely vanished. Her eyes had a scary expression. Her body started exuding chills all over. It was so strong that even assistant Zhang who was on the other end of the mobile was able to feel it.

Taking a deep breath shecalmed down her raging emotions and asked, "Are you sure?"

Disconnecting the call, she came back to the room and sat down, but this time she was different from Tian Tian who was studying a little while earlier. The cheerfulness, bubbly character, and the easy to read and react girl had completely vanished instead replaced by a block of ice which was unable to melt, though it was clear no one knew what was going on inside it. Completely transparent yet unreadable.

Quickly wrapping up the questions she passed the book to Gu Shen and asked him to call it a day, as he said earlier.

Going over the answers and the way of solving Gu Shen smiled and nodded while assuring her that he would not extend the tutoring session.

Closing the book Gu Shen kept it on the table and suggested while leaning towards Tian Tian, "It seems you are in some trouble. I can help you if you allow me to."

Rolling her eyes over him Tian Tian rejected politely, "No, thanks. No one can help me. If you want to help me, reduce the tutoring hours."

Leaning back Gu Shen leisurely popped Tian Tian's dream bubble by saying, "Not possible."

Assistant Zhang entered her home as a ghost. Even though Tian Tian saw him she did not turn her eyes towards him nor did she have any change in expression.

Unexpectedly, as assistant Zhang entered Gu Shen turned his head and made eye contact with Assistant Zhang, clearly following his path from the door to Tian Tian.

It did not take more than a second for Tian Tian and Assistant Zhang to realize that Gu Shen was also someone who can see ghosts.

Warily getting up she took a step back while assistant Zhang stood in front of Tian Tian with his hand spread out in the air, in a motion of protecting her.

"Who are you?" Asked assistant Zhang ready to attack at any moment.

Getting up Gu Shen turned his ring using his index finger making him turn into the King with a black colored coat and his silver sword accompanying him.

Kneeling he bowed at Tian Tian and spoke, "The King of the Dark Inn bows to the Queen of the Spirit Inn, stretching a hand of friendship."

Saying Gu Shen stretched his hand towards her. This was usually done when people of two realms meet and decide not to fight against each other.

Since the moment Gu Shen got to know that he will be working in the turf of Spirit Inn he had already decided to befriend the Queen.

Looking at the unexpected development, Tian Tian also turned her ring using her index finger making her appear in her Queen form with a crown on her head and a small metal dagger on the waist.

Walking gracefully towards Gu Shen, Tian Tian kept her hand in his already stretched hand while speaking, "The Queen of Spirit Inn accepts the friendship of the King of the Dark Inn."

Kissing softly on the back of Tian Tian's hand Gu Shen got up and asked her again with his arrogant tone, "So now can the Queen let me help her?"

She was almost sure that it was unable for her to deal with that magician all alone. When she left the House of the Spirits she was already thinking of various ways to contact someone for her help. She was very new in this field and it would be completely impossible for her to kill a vengeful soul who had wandered for years by using her powers alone.

'If someone wants to help, why would I reject. Especially while dealing with a vengeance.' Thinking Tian Tian nodded softly
