Chapter 2(one year ago)

Like any other usual day. I didn't understand why today comes to suck off every single ounce of blood from my body. This day is horrendous. And what is more horrendous is this fucking ringing alarm clock which doesn't seem to stop.

Sabrina, you need to get up!

My mother called for me. I hummed in response and was about to doze back into beautiful and sexy sleep when the doors to my room open to reveal my best friends who were twin sisters. Very sweet girl, I am telling you.

Pay attention to the girl, which means only of them. Yes, Madelyn was definitely very sweet and pretty. And her jet black hair added more to her beauty. The other one was somewhat like sour candy. Sweet and salty at the same time. Her name is Marilyn.

Madelyn started yanking me up by my hands while saying something which I was definitely not paying attention to. My lips were just moving!!

Whereas Marilyn stood by the door with her hands on her waist and shaking her head in negative like she was tired of this drama. Yes, absolutely, anyone would be if it's a daily Monday story.

Finally, Madelyn was successful to get me out of my bed. I groaned loudly and took small steps to the bathroom. After a long long shower, I came out and met with an empty room. Where did the towns go?

Guess I need to find out myself...

I sighed internally and my eyes fell on the alarm clock and geez, I was fifteen minutes late for school.

It was 8:15 now. Mr. Matthew is gonna eat me raw today. But what can I do about that?

I am already late. I need to hear his "be punctual" talk either I run to school now or I run to school a half an hour later.

The latter option is good and I am hungry.

I quickly changed into a red off-shoulder midi with polka dots. I made a loose braid with my short bangs flowing freely from the front of my face. I ruffled them a bit. They reached till my brows and made me look a lot cute than I already am. Oh, I am not proud, I just speak the truth

I checked myself for one last time in the mirror and my eyes fell on that ugly scar below my chin. 

It looked very bad. It was not intentional but I got it during an accident. I was five and my family was going to meet my grandparents and we had a car crash. Mom used her magic to get us out of the car but I messed up. I am a special witch. I don't know how but everyone says that. I am different. I like being different. So, I panicked and locked mom which resulted in me being trapped in the car. The car soon turned into a blazing fireball but there was not a single scratch on my body.

I leisurely opened the door and walked out as nothing happened. The horror look on the face of my parents was something I can never forget in my life. I never ever see them this scared. It was that day I got this scar. My parents know the meaning but they never tell me about this. 

I can not even hide it with my hair...

Ugh!!!!!!

I walked into the dining room. Dad was cooking while mom was reading a newspaper. It's a daily habit of theirs. Dad cooks breakfast and mom cooks dinner.

Oh, so you are finally awake. Thank you for showing your presence, princess.

I cringed at the word princess. I and mom have this sort of relationship. A little bit sweet and a little bit sour.

Where did the twins go?

I asked

You were taking a lot of time. So, I send them away.

Dad replied.

I nodded my head in response and dug onto my breakfast. Mom and dad were talking business which I was completely oblivious to. My parents work for the government. A very dangerous and exciting work. I can tell you this much only. Talking about my parents, both were thrown out of the witch kingdom because my mom refused to let her be taken as a gift by some VIP entities. My dad being madly in love with mom, for sure supported her which resulted in both of them being thrown out along with their best friends or also known as the parents of the twin sisters.

Dad's phone buzzed. He let out a nervous laugh while my mom was throwing daggers at him. I couldn't help but giggle. I want to be in a relationship just like them.

Oh, it's Nick!

Dad said while typing something.

What does he want now?

mom asked with a slight groan.

Well, he wants us to join some sort of party organized this evening. It's a cosmical party.

Dad replied with very little interest.

Yay party!!!

I jumped up from my seat but then I realized something which made me sit back down on my chair.

But what's a cosmical party?

I asked.

Mom sighed a little.

This is what happens when you don't pay attention to your lectures.

Yes, I was studying in a school specially designed for special government worker's children.

It is a party where the kings of the rest of the ten dimensions will be present along with some other lords and their special men.

My mouth formed an O shape.

Which is why you are not coming.

Mom continued.

Wait, what? But why?

I want to go to that party. I love the party.

No is a no, Sabrina. You are not coming.

I knew the solution to this problem. I turned to dad and gave him my best puppy dog eyes and cute and innocent smile.

How many pretties I have to add before please so that you are gonna convince mom to let me come.

I insisted.

No, Sabrina. Your mom is right.

Dad said while shaking his head in negative.

Pretty please..........

I batted my eyelashes at him. And there we go. He sighed a little before turning back at mom.

No Henry! Don't give me that look!

Mom warned him.

Let her come, Emmy. This shouldn't cause us any specific trouble. And this will be the first and last time she will be attending these parties.

Dad was trying to convince her but she was not listening. This is gonna take time. Hmm.

You very well know the reason I am telling no!

I know Emmy but she is gonna stick by me and I am not letting any trouble come to her.

They were talking about me and I didn't know again. But what trouble they are talking about.

What kind of trouble?

Dad glanced between me and mom and held my hands in an assuring way.

Nothing you need to worry about sugar.

His words always soothe me. A gave him a small smile and a nod.

And your mom agreed! You are coming!

I squealed in happiness and hugged him tightly.

Wait! When did I say that?......

She sighed a little.

Okay, you can come but you will be your dad at all times. Are we clear?

I nodded my head in agreement.

I took my bag and teleported myself to school. I heard faint shouting of mom saying not to use magic this way but I ignored her and walked through the hallway. The first period is already over and the second class has started. The hallway was empty when I noticed Mari sneaking in a corner.

I tiptoed and tapped her shoulder gently. She jumped from shock and let a sigh of relief when she saw it was just me. She brought her fingers to her lips getting me to keep quiet.

What are you doing?

I asked her.

SneAking to my boyfriend, Max. I have this serious gut feeling that he is cheating on me.

She spoke in a hushed tone.

Out of nowhere, some gruesome voices started echoed from the room beside her. I looked at Marilyn and she was very angry and smiling. A smiling and angry Marilyn is no good.

She kicked open the door. And what we saw just fueled her anger.
